My room was a stand alone cabin

check in and out was quick and easy. We arrived into town an hour early but were allowed to check in early which was greatly appreciated. The room has everything you need with convenient parking right at the door. The room jtself was quite. It is located near the casino and not too far from the boat tours and the "tourest" area with a drug store, gas station and other stores for your shopping needs quite close. The room itself is kind of out dated but really is all you need for a quick stop over. I do not recomment it for a romantic getaway. Our only "complaint" is the room smelled strongly of cat urine. We needed to go buy some room spray. But like I said, it was perfect for a one night stop.

Room was not cleaned properly. TV remote had no batteries and once fitted - still didnt work. Was freezing, took ages to heat. Bed was uncomfortable. Restaurant closed for season. Stank of smoke. Cockroach trap near fridge. Thin walls so noisy. Only thing I liked was hot water eventually came through. Staff were nice at check in.

Stayed in one of the cottages. Very quiet and private.

Easy check in and out also staff were helpful and good wifi. Breakfast was take out to eat in the room

It’s an older property, but they keep the property clean. We had a double cabin, which was well furnished and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again, especially for the price we paid.

The small cottages are quaint, a bit outdated, but they are private and cozy.

Clearly an older hotel doing the very best they can. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. WiFi worked well. Scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast was given a special touch with the addition of an orange slice. I'd stay there again.

There are cockroaches in room and bedsheets also smelly

Bed and pillows were nice. Location was convenient to what we were looking for. But the area immediately surrounding the motel unit was dirty. There were garbage bins and a grease bin from the restaurant outside our unit. When the window was open you could smell the grease. The room smelled like a wet dog when were got there and didn't abate until the window was closed.

The glasses were disgustingly dirty. It was clear that whatever rag was used to wipe down the room was then used to wipe the glasses instead of leaving clean glasses and taking away the dirty ones to be washed. The microwave was dirty on the inside and incredibly even the buttons on the outside were covered in crud. There wasn't a boot tray by the door, so I can only imagine the amount of dirt that has accumulated in the carpet over the years and thanked my lucky stars that I had indoor shoes with me as I cringe at the thought of walking around in sock or bare feet. The walls were very thin which I discovered when the couple next door were intimate at 4:00 AM and woke me. The sheets appeared to be clean and I arrived late during a snow storm and just wanted to get some sleep so I could be up and out early the next morning, otherwise I would never have stayed there. Lastly, their idea of a continental breakfast was 4 brown bananas, 3 mandarin oranges that were long past their sell-by date, and toast. After seeing how they "washed" the glassware, I declined to eat.

The property needs some TLC for sure but our cabin was very clean, towels fluffy and spotless, bedding crisp and clean. Front and back windows provided great cross ventilation and the rain on the metal roof was fun! The motel is easy walking distance (1-2k based on where you’re going) to several restaurants and approx 3k from the start of the Thousand Island (bike) Trail. The owners were friendly and responsive. And, the price is right!

The rooms were very clean. Bed was super comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed 3 nights. Was perfect and relaxing. Enjoyed my stay

Basic, but clean, and all I needed was a bed and shower.

Moldy smell in room... no fan in washroom so yup imagine the mold build up and smell...people smoked in there as it showed around the window it was all yellow and brown burnt by cigarettes... the neighbour was drunk smoking joints..and noisy.. black visible mold in a/c. Breakfast was stale muffins or croissants and riped bananas... no soap amenities in washroom and when we got there room had not been properly cleaned as it showed in the garbage cans...they were not emptied from the last people in room

For the price we were only hoping to get a good sleep since we were out all day and into the evening. To be honest we really couldn't get a good sleep. The fridge was too noisy, so had to unplug it and ac unit, which I guess we could not have gone without since was very hot days, was too noisy. I guess if you're a heavy sleeper then maybe those things won't bother you. The bed was comfortable and the room was neat and clean but had a bit of a musky smell.

This turned out to be a very nice place, but it could use some TLC. I really liked the woman who ran it, and regret we didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant or make the breakfast. At first I was disappointed with the lack of updates (can’t stand the old bedspreads and the AC was loud) but I slept really well. The bed was comfy and it was super quiet. I also realized it was spotlessly clean and had coffee maker, fridge, microwave, etc. We were able to walk to the port area, and I would definitely be willing to go back there, especially if the price is right ! It’s hard to find inexpensive hotels that don’t feel sketchy, and this is one. All in all, we enjoyed our stay!

Rooms are clean but very dated. The water never got hot when washing up. I will pass on this going forward

Take a cabin. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear through them. The owners are kind and friendly but the there were a few things missing in the room. Maybe this is cutting down on their operational costs......

While the cottages are small and rather run-down, they are quiet and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the fact that the cottages are away from the main road. Overall, I was satisfied and it met my needs.

Motel bien situé, globalement correct mais insonorisation médiocre avec les chambres voisines.

Price of the room way too high for the condition. Getting hot water from the shower was quite an experience. Unit definitely needs a face lift. Stayed at the Howard Johnson across the street the week before which is the same price. No comparison in the quality of the room. Will not recommend.

Small room but just what was needed. Bed was very uncomfortable though.

very strong smoking scent as soon as opening the room door. The dust and dirty residue on the bed sheet. The owner appeared quiet stingy and unwilled to provide quality of customer service.

The service at the front desk was faster,friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and smelled fine. Housekeeping was very friendly and was very good at handling instructions.

Very friendly and smooth check-in. Nice enough room for a quick stop over. A little outdated. Took a while for the shower to get hot water.

We were checking in after hours so the staff made arrangements to get us our key since no one would be at reception which was very helpful. Good place to stay for a night

The lady that checked me in was so friendly and sweet, it was an easy check in and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had booked 2 nights but due to an emergency at home we had to leave after 1 night. The room was cozy and comfortable. The 2 bar stools where we sat to eat breakfast were an added bonus. It would have been better if the restaurant was open for breakfast but they provided us with scrambled eggs and toast to start our day. More selection would have been nice. The people were very kind and accommodating.

The hotel staff were welcoming, smiling, complimentary, informative, no hesitation to take care of our requests. We even got a "goodbye, have a good trip" when checking out.

Chambre rénovée, bon pour qualité/prix. Séjour de 2 nuits pour explorer la region. Donc peu de temps a la chambre. Le frigo a ete pratique et petite table style bar pour manger.

Just what we were looking for everything within walking distance and super friendly owners would definitely stay again.

The property suited our needs.Although a little dated it was clean and had comfortable beds..They offer a "breakfast" which only consists of an omelette and a slice of toast, where you have to call the office between 8 and 9,, make an order and then they tell you to come in 10 minutes to pick it up.and you take it back to your room in a container...The bathtub did not have a stopper water plug but we made due with stuffing a face cloth into the drain to hold the water in the tub..not a big deal, but there should have been one..Their internet WiFi connection was good once you finally figure it out on how to use it..They give us a pass code to activate the the WiFi but when we tried it, it did not work...There where 4 different connections options, we how to go though all of them to find one that works..Although their web site on Expedia states that Pets are allowed. "Charges may be applicable.", they should have been upfront on the listing and indicate the price on the web site, not bill your credit card after you leave...We could have found other places that were pet friendly that did not charge a pet fee...overall it wasn't a bad stay but we will not return for the above reasons.

Bon hôtel mais qui mériterait un rafraîchissement. Clim très - trop bruyante dans la chambre Petit déjeuner trop léger, peu de choix. À améliorer. Personnel très sympathique et agréable

I can safely say that this was the best experience that we had during our long multi-day trip. It was not the property that takes the 5 stars. Property would be like 3-4/5... however the people/staff were extremely warm and ready to serve. The breakfast spread was great too.

Property and rooms a little dated, but otherwise comfortable sleep. Breakfast included was scrambled eggs and toast which you ordered at front desk and took back to your room to eat.

The rooms are small, smells very bad, you cannot even sleep from the bad smell. Sheets and towels are clean. Breakfast is made by the staff and given to you to go. Just scrambled eggs and toast, some peanut butter and jelly.

Cute and quite place, continental breakfast was lacking and for the price of the stay the rooms could use some updating. Staff was very friendly.

Said they had a continental breakfast went to the entrance at 8am and the door was locked so don’t know what time they open for that but was disappointed so went to Tim Hortons instead 😞
