In general the hotel was clean and comfortable, the lack of chairs around the pools and the rude people who reserved their chairs and not occupying them was annoying. The pool area bars were closed most of the time. I ended up spending most of my time away from the hotel and when I was at the hotel I just brought my own drinks.

Safe as good but battery indicator would not stop beeping even after the battery was replaced. Too many people reserving lounge chairs by the pool all day and not using them. Lobby and grounds were clean and nicely decorated.

I had a lovely deluxe room with partial ocean view overlooking the festive hotel lawn. Ordered room service, used the jacuzzis and warm wading pool, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Having beach access, resort amenities, and the Malecón right outside made for a great experience.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado. Lo que no me gustó es que sólo funcionaba un elevador, el hotel estaba lleno y era demasiado dificil poder subir, tuvimos que utilizar las escaleras aún con el equipaje. Las camas me parecieron incómodas, pero sobre todo el ruido de la calle

El hotel muy bonito con sus tinas de hidromasaje de agua caliente, lo unico malo es que no hay estacionamiento y si llegas antes de tu reservacion no te dan la habitación , tienes que esperar hasta las 3 pm y que te den entrada al estacionamiento que esta un poco retirado !!

Hotel remodelado, con áreas verdes bien cuidadas, la habitación agradable, le falta un poco de limpieza. El área de las albercas limpia. No tiene playa, aunque está a la orilla del mar. Demasiado ruido después de mediodía y hasta entrada la noche. El estacionamiento no es del hotel y cobran una tarifa extra por día. El personal en general es atento.

Estuvimos en planta baja, la ultima habitacion y todos los dias teniamos que matar cucarachas, el ultimo dia todas las que matamos las dejamos a la vista porque nos quejamos y no hubo respuesta en la semana que estuvimos. No tuvimos agua caliente en ningun momento para bañarnos.

The Inn was nice. My biggest issues was the level of cleanliness and the rundown vibe of the whole place. Housekeeping was seriously lacking even in our upgraded suite. You could visibly tell the floor was not clean, sand and hair left each day. The beds and pillows were seriously lacking. Everything was musty in the room, which I could of looked past as it’s understandable due to proximity to ocean but with the poor house keeping and general run down, scuffed floor boards , holes in wall vibe it just was unsettling. The ceviche restaurant was great that’s attached. The beach location is amazing. The Pool was nice , service was poor at times though as servers would walk right past even after tipping. I wouldn’t stay again.

Both of our rooms were VERY dirty. Same with hallways and elevators. Rest of the property seemed fine. Our company has stayed there a few times in the past with no problem, so quite disappointed this time.

This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We booked a family suite at The Inn at Mazatlán for our vacation with our two kids, my husband, and my mom, expecting something comfortable and family-friendly. Instead, we were hit with a nightmare. The first room we were given was full of mosquitoes, literally flying around and biting us. The room also had a terrible moldy/musty smell that made it hard to breathe. We complained immediately, and while the staff wasn’t rude, they didn’t do much to fix the situation. They moved us to a second-floor room, but it was just as bad, same awful smell, and still had bugs. To make matters worse, the toilet in that room was clogged. I asked to be moved again and was shown multiple other rooms — all of them had the same terrible odor. Clearly, this is a major issue with their HVAC system, and the entire hotel feels like it’s overdue for a deep cleaning. The front desk kept telling me the only thing they could offer was “the same room on a different floor.” It was obvious that this is just how the whole hotel is- not clean, not comfortable, and definitely not what we paid for. We couldn’t relax at all, and I wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free. Don’t be fooled by the pictures online. This place needs serious maintenance and accountability. I rarely write reviews, but travelers deserve to know the truth.

I want to give it a 10-10 but our curtains had holes the main bed room door had a hole as well out of our 7 day stay they came to fumigate our room like what who does this on guest. There was no do not disturb sign so there was a knock every day

Good access to the beach and public transportation. The maid for our room was awesome. Staff was always helpful. Internet worked flawlessly. Our room was in the tower and was tired. Street noise was problematic as we came to hear the ocean and it was obscured by road noise. However, we did get a front row seat to the beautiful Mazatlán sunsets. Would have preferred a room in the newer part of the hotel so when walking to the pool area one would not have to walk through the lobby.

We liked the proximity to things and the hotel was on a good stretch of beach. The hotel is tired and needs some updating and TLC. Everything from the beds to the kitchenette to the showers were just a little rough and worn. The staff were friendly enough which was nice. The food in the restaurant was good-not amazing but good. We declined the time share breakfast invite the first day and they left us alone after that- which was also much appreciated. There is a lot of Banda music in the area in front of the hotel on the beach. A lot. The only time you get a reprieve is when the tide is high-which happens twice per day. Thank goodness. But the area is great and close to lots of restaurants and things so I would stay here again.

La Torre de cuartos antigua , siempre tiene problemas de más vieja en el hotel The Inn at mazatlan , en cambio los cuartos De la Torre nueva es excelente. A media noche se suspendió el aire frío de la refrigeración. Y nunca fueron hasta en la mañana a repararla , aunque avisamos en la madrugada. El sofá cama es muy incómodo.

The inn mazatlan! Both my husband and I had a great experience. The luxury ocean front view room was clean/spacious/comfortable with an amazing view! Their pool area is amazing you are only steps away from the beach. What really stood out was the staff Everyone I interacted with from valet, front desk to housekeeping — was friendly, professional, and helpful. Our pool waiter Luis is amazing he truly offers great customer service and he really made us feel welcomed. The location is conveniently located in the zona dorada area which has many restaurants, shops. It’s about a 15minute walk to letras de mazatlan if that’s helpful to anyone. There’s tons of vendors literally steps away from the pool Overall, I’d definitely recommend THE INN to anyone looking for a modern friendly staff personnel that will make your stay a pleasure able one I’ll gladly return on my next visit! The location of this property is outstanding When booked through Expedia we were placed on the 4th floor with a nice view of the ocean. The main issue is that the front of the unit and bedroom sat right on top of the main street. The street noise and music were so bad we had to move rooms. You literally could not sleep until the noise subsided well after 2:00am. We were charged an additional $135.00 for the room change and an addition $42 for a 3:00pm checkout. The staff was less than friendly, and we were pressured to attend a time share presentation which we declined. Lastly the pool area has far less lounge chairs and umbrellas than guests. The chairs were reserved by 7:00am every morning. We joined the reservation gang only to have our towels and water bottles removed by the security guard? We were told that reserving was not allowed, when explained that every morning this was the norm and that the guards all see it, they finally returned our towels and water bottles.
The location of this property is outstanding When booked through Expedia we were placed on the 4th floor with a nice view of the ocean. The main issue is that the front of the unit and bedroom sat right on top of the main street. The street noise and music were so bad we had to move rooms. The pool staff were horrible. We've stayed here for years and never had such lack of service. Yu can tell the staff is definitely not happy and they seem to be short staffed. But to get a drink or meals, you had to always hunt down an employee. They rarely followed up with us to see if we wanted another. The only time they were quick to arrive was when they saw us packing up to leave. Also, my room smelled horrible. It was a mold, chemical smell. I mentioned it to them and nothing was done and this was in the remodeled section. We are supposed to stay there in November and we are re thinking our plans.

We had a good time overall, but if they had better service in the restaurants and pool areas I would definitely stay here again. Also keeping the pools clean is very essential in my opinion.

Property was in a great location, on the bus routes, making us mobile for our entire months stay. The manager, Jose Ornelas accommodated us with a one bed room,full kitchen. Thank you sir. The staff at the front desk and the bell boys were at our beckoning, 24/7, and all maintenance issue were immediate, if not sooner. We cannot say enough good about how they treated us. Thank you desk clerk’s Gabriela, Guilberto, Paulina, Teresita, Fernando, Zumaava, Cesar and anyone I may have missed. Thanks also to the bell boys Guillermo, Alfonzo, Samuel, Adrian, Carlos, and anyone I may have missed. A really special thank you goes to our housekeeper Katherine. What a sweetheart of a young lady. We appreciated everything Katherine did for us. We spoke very little Spanish and Katherine spoke minimal English yet we had no trouble communicating. We will return to The Inn for an even longer stay in 2026.

This property was beautiful and great location staff was super nice and helpful. Only down side is that when I called and confirmed room I requested an ocean view and they confirmed and when we checked in they wanted to charge over 200 extra for change of room. Also didn’t like how every time we walked out of the lobby we kept getting bombarded by the staff about promotion and memberships for the hotel. Other than that great.

Good access to the beach and public transportation. The maid for our room was awesome. Staff was always helpful. Internet worked flawlessly. Our room was in the tower and was tired. Street noise was problematic as we came to hear the ocean and it was obscured by road noise. However, we did get a front row seat to the beautiful Mazatlán sunsets. Would have preferred a room in the newer part of the hotel so when walking to the pool area one would not have to walk through the lobby.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado. Lo que no me gustó es que sólo funcionaba un elevador, el hotel estaba lleno y era demasiado dificil poder subir, tuvimos que utilizar las escaleras aún con el equipaje. Las camas me parecieron incómodas, pero sobre todo el ruido de la calle

Location was great with lots of dining and shops, easy to get places. The property itself is older and needs an update. Not terrible, just old. Views are wonderful but the street out front is LOUD - thankfully the AC is loud enough to drown out most of it. Great to have the option for the airport shuttle (extra), and the staff was helpful. Restaurant onsite was ok, pools were nice, beach access great, and the locals are wonderful. Would stay again if we could get one of their remodeled units.

In general the hotel was clean and comfortable, the lack of chairs around the pools and the rude people who reserved their chairs and not occupying them was annoying. The pool area bars were closed most of the time. I ended up spending most of my time away from the hotel and when I was at the hotel I just brought my own drinks.

I wasn’t impressed with this property nothing special and the drinks where watered down heavily even after telling waiter of situation same result notified front desk at check out felt like they didn’t care no one wanted to fix the situation of a decent drink or compensate for drinks I’m not a heavy drinker but come on if I ordered a drink I want a drink not juice

Excelente propiedad ! Camas excelentes , Aire Acondicionado, excelente, alberca, muy limpia y con calefacción. Además de ser grande, servicio de comida de la alberca a un excelente precio y cantidades grandes. Muy limpio el hotel y es segunda vez que voy por lo bueno.

Property was well located and had a very nice beach. They could offer more free coffee. we did however have a junior suite and got or own coffee locally. Nice little kitchen. However the front of the hotel is on the main street and there is a lot of street noise which settles down after midnight. We did get a massage and they had an awesome massage / facial special. I would give it an 8 out of 10 and would not hesitate to go there again.
