Breakfast was very… strange?? Cold pancakes to toast & cold sandwiches with questionable meat to microwave. Hotel is very old. Room was clean & it was good location to what we wanted to do. Overall it was ok but for almost $300 a night I expected a lot better.

I am surprised by other reviews because I thought this place was terrible. The girl working the desk was unpleasant & unhelpful. The room was dirty & outdated. It took the toilet a whole minute to finish a flush.Even after driving hours to get there, attending a concert which was delayed & not getting to the room to sleep until 1am, the beds were so uncomfortable I still couldn't fall asleep despite being exhausted. When we woke up there was no power. When I went to the front desk to inquire why they just said "we don't have it either." No sorry for the inconvenience, no update on what might happen next, etc. Just total ambivalence. I get it wasn't their fault, but pretending to care would have been nice. I was very grateful we only had to spend one night there. This looks like the type of place that you would pull over to late at night desperate for somewhere to sleep, not a place you book & pay good money to stay at. To be clear, I do not have high expectations. I never stay at fancy hotels because I would rather just have a clean, safe place to sleep & spend my money on experiences. So the fact that I was so grossed out says a lot. As soon as I arrived and saw the place I tried to cancel since I had paid extra for a refundable reservation, but it was too late. When I got home a giant bug crawled out of my suitcase. Inside this hotel room was the only time the whole short trip my suitcase had been open. I would never stay here again. The bakery across the street was good.
