I've stayed here many times. One of the features that draws me here is the pool and hot tub so I can say this with experience, the pool was murky, the hot tub foamy and dirty and the pool deck dirty. I did not enjoy my stay as much as usual.

This place needs a solid deep cleaning. There’s hair everywhere, and the carpets are naaaaassstttyyy. I steam clean my carpets every six months, have dogs and a cat, and even then they’re cleaner than the ones here. Couldn’t stay here. Too gross. That being said, the location is fantastic, there are plenty of good dining options for families and couples, and the parking was plentiful and close to the building. The front desk staff were also very lovely and tried their best to accommodate me. Shame that the place is kinda dirty. Better housekeeping would boost this place significantly!

Travelers be aware of this Hotel. Bed Bugs infestation on the 5th floor. Management did not take the issue seriously even though I complained immediately. it was not until the day I checked out did the manager call me to discuss what happened. Thanks god I had pictures and a video to prove it.

Our beddings had stains and there were underarm stench that just emanated from the bed that didn’t want to go away even after we asked them to change the beddings; it was gross. Hilton hotels aren’t known to be clean and this proves it even more. I wouldn’t stay here again! Gross!

There is too much of a gap/space at the bottom of the hotel room doors, which lets in too much noise from other guests. Also, the tone are that closes the guest room doors is too strong and makes a slamming noise that is very disruptive and noisy for sleeping.

Decent hotel with a good layout for the room, but the air conditioning was a bit outdated, I could hear people walking in the hallways late at night (despite having a white noise machine to block it out), the shower was a little difficult to start, and the room was missing some components I would have preferred to have (e.g. lotion, as I got sunburnt during this trip).

The hotel and the room were nice. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. After I checked out I found an additional charge on my credit card. I called the hotel to find out what the charge was for. The individual who answered was less than helpful and quite rude. She said that she could not explain the charge and I would have to call my bank. There was no attempt to assist. I had to dispute the charge through VISA

The property was really nice. My initial reception was great. I opted into adding breakfast to my stay which turned out to be a big mistake. My overall stay cost $300+ dollars (which included a very expensive burger and fries + tip). I realized that I would need to leave before breakfast so to make it to the CAN US boarder early. Yet when I tried to get the breakfast removed from my stay I was denied unprofessionally. I was told that they don’t refund breakfast costs. I stated 1) “but I am not going to eat breakfast”, and 2) “breakfast doesn’t even begin until another 1/2 hour”. It wasn’t even prepped to be served yet. The customer service rep was different than the person who checked me in. He was really unpleasant and didn’t seem to care at all. He did not try to help. I asked for the number to the manager which I called the next morning after getting back to the States. I left a detailed voice mail concerning my experience. It’s been a few days and I never received a return call. It started out great, and left me with a really sour taste in my mouth. I won’t stay there again. It goes to show that it doesn’t matter how nice a place presents the overall quality of the staff makes all the difference. In stark contrast the night before I stayed at a hotel that was 1/4 as nice as the Oakville but the pleasant staff made it feel like a far better place to stay than it actually was. Don’t choose the place that you stay on looks alone. Read what guests say about the staff.

We stayed just one night and drove in from Michigan for a date night. The facility was well-maintained, and the staff was absolutely fantastic. We opted for breakfast, and it was fresh and delicious! We're already planning to return in March. This hotel is one of the best we've stayed at—better than any other we've experienced at the same price point stateside. We were extremely happy with our stay.

Good clean hotel, nice bed and pillows. Don't bother with the restaurant. They have a poster in the elevator advertising cook to order breakfast, so I thought I would try it. Was there at 6:55am and told to come back at 7. Waited, then when I asked to see the menu, they said it was only buffet. Not into buffets so I left. I guess the poster in the elevator was a lie or the staff are too lazy to cook a breakfast order that they are advertising. That evening, I wanted to get a snack plate, waited for a long time standing in the restaurant until the desk clerk saw me. Thankfully she took the order and had it sent to my room. Cheese plate took almost half an hour. When it came I charged it to my room. Plate not worth the $28. I went to sleep around 9;30, to be awakened by the phone ringing. Front desk said they had a computer problem charging the food to the room and asked if someone could come up and I pay another way. Had to get pants back on, waited until almost 10pm for them to come up. Not impressed. I had a very long day and this was very annoying. Also, no pen or pad in the room which I typically use (business travel) Was annoying that there wasn't any. Also a couple bottles of water in the room, but cost $2.50 each if your not one of their silver and up members. Pen, paper and a bottle of water I have had standard at most hotels.

At registration they sell you a discounted breakfast 3$ off the regular price for a full hot breakfast. Actually the breakfast is the run of the mill powdered eggs that is offered free elsewhere. But for 6$ more you can order two fried eggs...that is 24$ for the minimal buffet and two eggs. At their higher end competition 24$ gets you a full sit down breakfast with excellent service and very good coffee...

Friendly staff, smooth check in. Personal touch welcome message on tv linked to your Hilton Honors account. Room was spacious the two queen bed suite with extra space tv sofa bed. The carpet had an odour to it and I wish they would tear out and put the same wood flooring that it is the hall way between two at areas of room. The grout in shower had some spots needing more attention. Pool and hot tub was fantastic. This was my second time staying few years apart and did not notice an odour on carpets last time.
