Best Western Peace Arch Inn

Great staff and facility was clean , well lit parking lot and quiet. When staying for several days the breakfast has no variety outside of the boiled eggs and sausage for protein offerings so that is a bit tiresome . Management level thing, staff was great however. Facility did not carry any weights in the gym but does have a sauna !

We stayed here for 3 nights and I have lots to say. It wasn’t as pleasant as we had hoped for. For the price, we could’ve stayed at a better rating hotel. The sheets are not as clean, there’s hair everywhere and it is not as tightly put on the bed, like it look like the sheets were not fresh. Secondly, housekeepers basically rushes you out of your room. Day 2, housekeeper knocked in our room just before 11am and said she has to clean now coz it’s her last room for the day and it has to be done before she leaves. I couldn’t leave my room yet for the day coz I was still working, so our room was not clean med for the day and she just handed me new towels and ask me for my garbage can for her to change it. Check out day - we did ask for late check out and they knocked, when we said we are still in the room, of course they opened the door anyways while I was still getting ready. Lastly, came with my kids so they can enjoy swimming at the pool but there were constant swimming lessons day and night which is a little disappointing coz honestly, guests using the hot tubs can’t relax due to noise. Guests cannot enjoy the pool coz the instructors literally ask you if you can move aside coz they need the space for their lessons. You have no choice but to comply. We appreciate the front desk’s apology but this is an inconvenience that can be avoided or eliminated for future guests. Hopefully they do something about it.

Great staff, very friendly. Room was quiet. Breakfast was pretty good, wish it ran a bit later. Pool was out of commission. Had booked because of the pool so was disappointed.

Poor customer service, half finished repairs all over, swimming lessons for non paying guests monopolizing the pool area, shabby and unkept in many areas...specifically the pool area.

Stay was average. Price per night was extremely high. Breakfast was ok, same food for all 3 days. Interactions with staff were pleasant. Most disappointing was the pool and the constant swim lessons being held at the facility. Interactions with parents of these swim lessons was at times unpleasant and unexpected for a paying guest at the hotel.

We booked this hotel for the pool as we are traveling with children. At check in there was no mention of the pool being refilled and out of commission. We made due with the hot tub and sauna. As for cleanliness, when I crawled into bed my pillow was clearly not changed. There was mascara and makeup all over the back of it.

The pool was rented out from 3-8pm daily for children swim lessons so it was very inconvenient for my use at that time. The gym, sauna, jacuzzi were clean & well maintained. Breakfast room was excellent. Food choices excellent. My room very spacious & well appointed

Stayed for the pool - which wasn’t open the entire time - the hot tub was cold the first few days - should have provided a warning in advance and I would have stayed elsewhere. Staff were very pleasant.

Good place at a good price. Wonderful amenities as well. Our only concern is the swimming room floor. Dangerously slippery.

We stayed 2 nights here, and on the first moght discovered the pool was taken over by swimming lessons with kids of people who werent guests in the hotel.. this went on almost until pool closed on the friday. When we asked front desk about it, at first tried to deny it was happening and then after i stated we couldnt get into the pool because of them he said "oh they will be done in 15 minutes" .. why not let your hotel guests know thst the pool is occupied for almost the entire friday evening when checking in? The next evening we went into the hottub and there were various floaties of lint and hair... gross, but manageable with a shower afterwards. But the biggest health issue came the next morning when we went to use the ice bucket and discovered a dirty used cxndxm with tissue crumpled up inside of it. This left us feeling very dirty and unsure of how clean bed sheets/etc were. When i told front desk and spoke to manager both of them just apologized for the 'inconvenience" and said there was nothing they could do. I asked for refund and they refused to do. He even argued with me that he can 'assure me' that the rooms are clean.. even after i told him what we found and expressed how dirty/gross/disgusted we felt.

I had to clean the bathroom floor as it was dirty, also found a bug at the head of the bed. Fridge was not cold and yellow stained, room pictures on Expedia appeared larger than they actually are. That was disappointing.

The room was not wheelchair accessible! The wheelchair could not go into the washroom, there was no roll in shower, there were no bars anywhere, the toilet was so low to the ground it was dangerous for a disable person and so was the bed. Also, there were two black hairs in the shower.

Arrived to the room, bed sheets were dirty, pillow case was stained and the jacuzzi was dirty, like someone was doing construction in there

The bed was not clean. The sheets were definitely not changed as there was black lint on beds everywhere. First we thought they were bed bugs but it was lint. The location is also not walking distance to anything very specific. If you are claustrophobic don’t go coz windows are all sealed. No chance for fresh air. The smell was awful from room until we turned the fan on. It got very hot and humid in the middle of the night as heat was on but we had only fan on.

Bed had blood stained blanket.

Everything was clean and neat. A great place to stay

Building looks good from the outside...we have stayed in many BW hotels on this trip and in the past but this location offered minimum service. all day and all night all you could hear was doors slamming and hallway conversation....the space under the door was at least 1 inch...all noise amplified ...AC/heater not working and loud ...

Very dated hotel. Hard to access area, wifi did not work and the cell signalneqs very weak.

Very noisy. Door seals leak letting in light and sound at night. Wood frame structure all footsteps above transmitted to below

This is a typical Best Western. We didn't have a vehicle so were limited to either Subway or A&W if we were looking for a bite to eat. But honestly in all the hotels we have stayed in, hands down, the beds were the absolute worst we have ever slept on. I mean awful. :( Nice to have breakfast included but the hot foods were barely cooked. The hashbrowns and the sausages were warm but barely palatable. The selection of other items, muffins, cereal, yogurt, etc was good though. On the upside - the staff was very friendly. Shout out in particular to the front desk guy (forgot to get his name) when we were in need of an umbrella to attend an outdoor event. He said the hotel didn't have any to lend out but he kindly offered his own personal umbrella for us to use for the day. We were grateful for this offer on a rainy lower mainland day!

Room was small but adequate, wash room extra tight. Furnishings were just adequate. TV signal and room temperature was poor.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. It is very noisy now with cars racing up and down King George. They are reving there engines at all hours of the night.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and newly renovated, the breakfast was great and the location is good. It’s just not very soundproof.

Terrible beds. Small rooms. Could hear other guests.

This hotel had the squeakiest king sized bed ever. The room was comfortable and clean.

Night shift front staff was nice but dayshift one was rude. The room was very basic with no decor and all white lighting. Feels like a medical clinic. Sheets were stained. Parking was a nightmare with insufficient room to maneuver. We paid $800 total for 3 nights which is overpriced for this place. We will never stay there again.

Staff woke me up at 9am every morning to clean the room. Even with the do not disturb sign on the door. When i said no they beg and pleaded and then came back every 20 minutes and knocked on the door

The Best Western was centrally located with all amenities and access to all main Vancouver locations were near by.

I’ve stayed here several times. It’s very minimal accommodation but it works for us because we are usually out and really only use the suite in the evenings. Very clean with helpful and friendly staff. We can never figure out the television/cable situation which isn’t a big deal. The breakfast situation should be improved … very small selection to choose from.

There could have been more of a Varity and the pancake maker didn't completely cook the pancake. the hashbrown patties were not cooked enough.

Top tier hotel, would stay there again. The pancake maker in the breakfast room only half cooks pancakes, but other than that miniscule thing I found, this place was amazing

It was good but very expensive! Staff was very nice. It was clean and the room was nice. The breakfast was good but it was the same every day. Nice place but way more expensive than it should be
