Ios Palace Hotel & Spa

The best hotel we have ever stayed! The two pools are lovely and the beach is literally on your doorstep. Staff were really nice and helpful. Food was great. The rooms could do with a bit more furniture (no chair or mirror so made it difficult to get ready)

Everything about this hotel was perfection! From being picked up at the port to the welcome drink on arrival! The staff here were friendly, helpful and aimed to make your stay amazing! Breakfasts were included and a perfect way to start your day and a fantastic selection of delicious prepared choices. We didn’t get to use the spa on property as our stay was short. There were two choices of pools, a bar and a beach with water sports right below hotel. We booked stand up paddling one afternoon It was walking distance to more restaurants and a short taxi to town! Loved our stay here! Would love to return and stay longer!

We loved this hotel, however the rooms and definitely the bathrooms need an update and thorough cleaning. While the fitness room is adequate it is so hot it makes working out difficult. I asked the front desk manager to find a fan and she never followed through with me. It was tiny and probably 95 degrees. The air unit is facing a wall not the fitness cardio machines. If you are looking for a beach front quiet resort with a very kind staff choose this. Many many good restaurants within a few minutes walking.

I think the property is super overrated, you pay just for the view, room very old and ALL the hotel has a terrible problem with a reflux of sewage on drains, yes you room will be smelling sewage doesn’t matter what room you stayed, i request twice to change rooms so i just gave up, also you need take two elevators and walk stairs to get in your room, they have a salt water pool and a very nice view, also the sauna is supposed to be free but they try charge you €20 just say you wont pay. In a overall i would give a 6,5 rate, but definitely not Worth the $1700 for 5 nights ( also they charges €7 per night as a “government fee” what is insane.

If going to Greece, the island of Ios should be your last stop. It is very relaxing and a great way to unwind from all of the sightseeing. Staying at the Ios Palace was fantastic! The hotel is waterfront and provides great views of the beach and swimming pools. Staff was very friendly and spoke English well. Knowing this was our last stop, we splurged at this hotel and got a room with a fantastic view with balcony. It was well worth it! The room was large, clean and has a good size balcony for evening wine overlooking the ocean. Our room was high up near the upper pool. The upper pool was much more quiet than the main pool which made for a much more relaxing atmosphere. Restaurants are all within walking distance and there were plenty to choose from. Staff was responsive when there was an issue with the AC. They came up right away and fixed the problem. The hotel can also arrange transportation to and from the ferry port. The transport was waiting at the dock with our name on a sign which made him easy to find. If returning to Ios, we would definitely stay here again.

The Staffs are very professional. the bad smell from the pool area caused by sewage is happening sometimes.....the rooms are quite small and the floors looks a bit old. Over all the place is very nice.

Rooms to small and old Pool area limited chairs and umbrellas they have like 15 bed pools and 10 umbrellas Horrible drinks If you need to go to the beach extra fee to rent umbrellas and chairs and names to consume food from Restaurants Elevator to small .

DO NOT BOOK UNLESS IT IS UNDER 100€/night AT HIGH SEASON. Anything above is absolutely unjustified (and I know the market as I am traveling over 40 times a year). Thought i would treat my girlfriend with a nice hotel for 2 weeks but ended up in severe embarrassment. ROOMS 1/ Bed and pillows are cheap and extremely hard so we basically didn’t sleep well the entire stay. Both our backs and necks now hurt. 2/ Water is constantly coming out from drains holes on the bathroom floor so the bathroom floor was always wet during our entire stay. (See uploaded photo) 3/ Walls and door will let you hear anyone outside like if the door was open, so don’t expect to sleep in, ). 4/ Towels would strongly smell cold cigarettes all the time ! I believe an employee takes his cigarettes brakes in the laundry area… 5/ power cuts very often in the mornings (means no AC, no nothing) 6/ bathroom locker is so cheap and bad it would block when you are not even in the bathroom. (Happens is all rooms frequently. Required maintenance to come twice to unmount the whole thing while we were waiting to access the bathroom). SERVICE This is from far the worst part but i won’t detail as i am limited in words. So much to say tho… BREAKFAST Very disappointing buffet. Everything is cheap. Cold eggs in a stove 2 days in a row, we decided not to have our breakfast there anymore. GOOD POINTS - View is amazing (if your room is high) - Location is excellent - upper pool is beautiful

Lovely hotel in an ideal spot. The service, food and drinks by the pool and in the restaurant are great. The accommodation is clean and in good condition - with gorgeous views of Mylopotas Beach. Ideally close to Mylopotas beach and the restaurants. It is well serviced by a bus into town, port and other beaches. A lovely place- we will be back

We arrived before check-in time (two hours prior), and so we waited by the pool with our drinks, which was an amazing and breathtaking view. However, we had assumed that someone would come to get us when our rooms were ready, but no one did. Ten minutes before our check-in time, we decided to go and ask. The very nice receptionist said she would check. She looked at her computer and announced that it was in fact ready. We wished that someone would have gotten us as we waited quite a long time. But we assumed they must have been busy. The view from our room was beautiful, but the room itself was very basic. For the price that you are paying, we had expected something a little more, but the view and the pool were gorgeous. Again, at this hotel, you are mostly paying for location more than anything else. Our first night, we had no hot water as well. But once my husband spoke to the receptionist, they sent someone right away. The hot water was back twenty minutes later. That was nice, especially since it was approx. 11pm when this happened. Great service on that front! The breakfast was awesome too! So much to choose from! We were very happy with it! We would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat but would not pay the same we had paid this time around. If it was a little cheaper, a definite recommendation! But again, the location was perfect – right o

This is the only place I will be staying at I’m Ios moving forward. The service is spectacular. The rooms were spacious With a million dollar view. The breakfast and food was delicious. It’s in the perfect location. I will be come back.

We had a lovely stay at Ios Palace. At check-in they kindly upgraded us to a new part of the hotel. Which we discovered later is under same management, but will actually be separate hotel ‘Ios Grande’ Anyway it was lovely with own pool and terrace with amazing view. Service was great and we had a super time.

We all had a wonderful time at IOS Palace. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There was nothing that the staff wasn’t eager to help us with. An Amazing place to stay!

Ios palace was amazing with incredible staff and the location unreal with beautiful views and a great beach. I would definitely return in a beat!

We loved our stay and plan to go back. Our room was great but it was the staff that really made the experience—that and the incredible turquoise ocean just outside. When we said we loved fresh fish, staff made a reservation at Drakos, a walk along the beach, which was amazing. We went back the next night too, for the best fish soup we’ve had in Greece. If you have limited mobility, be sure to mention it in your reservation—our room was on the 7th level, up 2 elevators and multiple short flights of stairs. Our balcony was very private, overlooking the ocean, but it was a trek. Basically, we loved Ios and the hotel and plan to return with family.

Super hôtel personnel attentionné serve courtois et emplacement de rêve proche des plages beach club et de la ville . Facile pour visite et marcher

We recently stayed here for our honeymoon & we LOVED it. From the hotel arranging our transportation from the port, to upgrading our room at check-in, to the amazing service they provided, we cant say enough good things about this hotel. In addition to all this, the hotel was stunning, our room had an incredible view, the pools were stunning & you had option of two pools. The breakfast buffets was amazing and had plenty of options. Overall, we LOVED our stay here and would highly recommend it.
