I expected less than what we got based solely on price. We were traveling cross country and also had animals with us. The room was clean and well maintained. The parking lot was well lit which made me feel better because I had a U-Haul trailer with me. The front of the property had a little dog area for their needs. If I was really judgmental, the only issue we had was connecting to their Wi-Fi. I would stay here again.

I was helping someone move to the Birmingham area, and needed an inexpensive hotel for a few days to get a shower and sleep (and no more). This hotel fulfilled my needs. The TV did not work, the pool was not open, and there was no breakfast, but I could make due without them. The area did not feel completely secure to me (especially with external entrances to all rooms), but I experienced no problems. The staff was polite, and everything was acceptably clean.

Put on second floor without a working elevator to carry my bags. Key didn’t work. So I had to go back to lobby to reset it. Stairwell and walkways were filthy. Party going on for all hours of the night.

Property renovated . This property is not like the old red roof inns . Elevator not working. Had to climb outside stairs and pull luggage up. No check in after 2am.. ?! Not sure if this is the only hotel that has a cut off time for check in or what ?! We stopped to rest for a chunk of hrs and that was good enough for us . Nothing fancy here . Rooms now renovated.

If there was more stars id giving more. The lady at desk was so helpfull in signing us in. Seeing all the security cameras on wall made us feel save. And the room so clean n comfy. I wasnt expecting a top rated RedRoof Inn. Dont have that in St Louis. I go on 5 or 6 mini vacation and RedRoof rates as a better place to stay.

Expedia does say that there’s a vegetarian breakfast, but that is not true. The workers were very nice and there is no working pool, but that was OK because the waterfall outside sounded so peaceful and it was pretty

The rooms may be renovated but they lack cleanliness. Walked into the room and saw multiple stains on bed sheets, floors were sticky, spots on toilet seat. Needless to say… I was there 5 mins and then left to a different hotel. There was no way I could push through and stay there for an evening.

The main entrance and lobby were nice but the room smelled of cigarette smoke and was very dirty...floor unswept, burn holes and stains on bed covers. It was just overall dirty. I'll never stay in a Red roof inn again.

The first room assigned smelled like marijuana. The second room the sheets were stained and there were hairs on sheets so obviously they had not been changed. 3rd room ok

We did book late, had trouble finding a room. This hotel had decent reviews and for a mid-range cost 100+ for the night I figured it would have to be at least decent. Everything about this hotel is just dirty, from the moment you walk in, the floors were dirty, not swept or mopped, beds had several hairs in them and I question if the sheet had even been cleaned and or replaced. The bathroom was dirty, tub looked to not have been cleaned. I would not even consider giving the place another try even if they offered a free room. The staff were friendly but just no general maintenance or upkeep. The walls in the room even had stains on them from like hands prints and such and were never wiped down. I would think any cleaning staff could open the door to that room and see it needed attention badly. If it would not have been for the late hour I would have thrown a fit about it right then but we only had time for a few hours of sleep before we had to be back on the road to make an appointment the next day. But I would tell anyone avoid "this" red roof in at all cost.

Very gross. Multiple roaches big and medium. Hair left in bathtub. Comforters smelled and front desk could not get to laundry to swap. Charger/electrical ports did not work. Not a good experience for 100 a night

My visit was not a good visit. The bed was hard, the toilet was stained where looks like it was snaked out for unclogging. the towel rod just fell apart. There was spiders and roaches.

Jackie at the front desk is a gem. Very kind. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and simple. Unfortunately it's very noisy due to the rooms being outdoor-facing, so plenty of folks having phone conversations loudly late at night on the balcony. During my stay there was also quite a gathering of cars competing for how loud they could rev their engines in the parking lot. Wasn't the hotel's fault, but was another issue that came with the outdoor-facing rooms. During my stay there also seemed to be an issue with the humidity in the rooms. I was on the 2nd floor and thought maybe I was sweating really bad at night, walking up very damp in damp sheets after a thunderstorm. But that morning a lady from the 3rd floor said she woke up wet also and all of her bedding and laid-out clothes were wet, with the room covered in a thin layer of water. Sounds like an issue filtering air OUT and dehumidifying. But it was reported, so I hope it gets fixed soon and isn't an issue for future guests.

The staff was courteous, the room clean and well stocked. However the room was very small and difficult to get around in. Elderly people aren't very agile and need more room to maneuver around. We were told the handicap rooms only have one bed. Many times handicapped persons have care givers who are not a spouse and do not share beds.

This was a basic but updated motel at a good price. Very nice front desk staff! Our room had a fridge and was very clean and comfortable. The king sized bed was very comfortable! Safe area with a great breakfast restaurant just across the street. Only 15 mins drive to the theater we were attending downtown.

The front desk personnel, Jackie, was excellent. She was so kind and helpful. She really worked with me on checking in early. I am truly grateful for her help. She was honest with me and communicated with me effectively about the check in time. However, she went above and beyond to make sure we could get settled in our room. The area was quiet. The room was nice and spacious. It was near a lot of restaurants and convenient to a lot of places. I would highly recommend this hotel and will reserve with them if need be in the future.

Horrible experience. Elevators don’t work. Lady gave me a key to a room on the 3rd floor that didn’t work so after bringing my baby and bags up, I had to walk back down and get her to remake a key. Then a family comes and opens my door with their own key and says she also gave them room 343. When I think it can’t get any worse ANOTHER woman opens our door with her own key and says the lady also gave her room 343. If I weren’t with my husband, I would’ve left. I was terrified. The room was kind of clean. My daughters feet were black from the dirty floors, but besides that the room seemed ok. Will never stay again.

We stayed for 7 days/nights and during our entire stay, our room was never cleaned, beds never made nor was our linens ever changed. We had to ask the housekeeper to exchange our towels and additional rolls of toilet paper. When we exchanged our towels, a couple of the towels we were given still had dirt and stains on them. We also took out our own trash On our 3rd night, there was a small water leak coming from the ceiling of the bathroom. We reported it to the hotel staff, however no one stopped by to follow-up or to clean up the water on our bathroom floor. The room appeared clean and kept, however we did run into a couple of cockroaches. The water pressure in the shower was abysmal so it took longer to take showers. Overall, we would only recommend this hotel to anyone if their stay was only a couple of days. The good thing about this hotel was that the location had a lot of restaurants and businesses nearby. If you are expecting customer service, you should look elsewhere.

Tv never worked in the room and hotel staff was rude and unaccommodating. Manager would not help. I left early I was so disappointed with the lack of professionalism. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

I liked that this was a convenient hotel for our stay. The staff wasnt very friendly, in fact, the lady i originally started checking in with kept leaving in the middle of my check in. I was checked in, by a different lady. The original lady did the same with another guest that walked in while i was there.

I went through 3 rooms when I was “checked in”. The first room was partially open, and I walked in in someone in the shower. The next room, the key didn’t work. I went back downstairs and was given a key for another room. That rooom either appeared to be under construction, or the last people to stay there destroyed the room. I waited my turn in the lobby, and I was unable to wait past 15 minutes due to the fact that it was 9:30 at this point. I did not end up staying at this facility.

We live here and pay over 2000 a month to stay here. We left for a few days and came back and then got chewed out for the way we left our hotel room. We have no cleaning supplies and that is there job not ours. We will be leaving as soon as our reservation is finished. The only one nice to me has been Ms Jackie.

Traveling with packed car and the facility gave me a room number 236, in back, where I could not see my parked car and only had 4 parking spaces plus 3 handicap spaces. Yes, property has security cameras but not liable for theft. On top of that, my room (236) also had no dial tone to call front desk and cops were arresting a person at the hotel as soon as I got there. I only showered and slept for 3 hours before I left back on the road. Not recommended for traveling.

This hotel was excellent value for money. My room had recently been refurbished and was just like on the hotel pictures, nice and clean. The hotel itself was in a good area with lots of shops and places to eat nearby. The reception staff were friendly and Shantoy was especially helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again in the near future.

I never stayed at a Red Roof Inn. I will stay at this one whenever I visit Birmingham in the future. I could not find anything wrong. This location could not be easier to find and is located near lots of businesses that I may need to go to when I return.

Hotels.com said free breakfast, but it doeant have breakfast. The Ranch House is up the street. Room was clean, but the floor was a little dirty. Thats okay, it wasnt dirty enough to complain. Great front desk staff, very friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by this gem right off 31 and 65. For the price you can’t beat it. Waffle House was 30 seconds away and an easy drive via 65 to the airport. Had a small issue with the toilet, but it was quickly resolved. Room was exceedingly clean and room 108 was quiet with parting tight outside my door!
