Brandy was very helpful and very friendly. Great access to the beach! Know from other reviews that they are going to start renovating their property since the owner ship has recently changed. Excited to see how it looks here in the near future. Would stay again 10/10

The view was FANTASTIC, but that setting sun heated the room like an oven. There is no air-conditioning, only one very tiny section of window opened, and in order to not block that window, we had to leave the drapes pulled back leaving us in view of everyone walking by. They did provide a box fan, but we were so hot we purchased a second fan at Wal-Mart.

Great place to stay in Newport with incredible views of the shoreline. WiFi and cellular reception was bad in the room; in the parking lot. I think the bluff it’s built on shields cellular and WiFi signals.

I paid $250/night for a dilapidated room in an annexed hotel *next door* to the Seagrass Inn! When I reserved the room, the website showed a nice room with your standard furnishings including a flat screen tv and updated bathroom. The room I actually got? Oh my goodness, it was awful. The laundry list of problems with the room: 1. It smelled old and of mildew 2. The bathtub faucet dripped constantly and was chipped and stained. 3. The furniture was literally broken 4. The curtain rails were rusted and hard to operate 5. The front door was rusted 6. The Wifi was terrible 7. The curtains were threadbare and appeared moth-eaten 8. One bed seemed new and comfortable while the other was old and saggy. 9. The TV was an old CRT style that took up the whole dresser top! I can't help but laugh at that one. I advise you wait a year until they get their "renovations" done or run the risk of being stuck in the "old" part of the hotel. My goodness. One star.

Very outdated. Pool disgusting, but not in use. However, area wasn't roped off or hidden. Seemed over-priced for what you get.
