This hotel is very nice. Our one complaint is that it advertises a restaurant and bar. It really was not a restaurant, the bartender ran to the back to fix up some food. She could not make a simple coffee drink. That was disappointing.

Was a great stay. Clean rooms. Wish it had more food options, but the drink options were great. Loved the bar in the hotel. The pool & spa were a huge selling point for our family. Staff were so kind & accommodating. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel didn’t have the Mariners as an option to watch in the room. Kinda a bummer since it’s our home baseball team. Last night we had to park on the street bc there was no parking left in the parking lot. Not the hotel’s fault, but there was a few homeless sleeping across the street from the hotel. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful and friendly.

Looks like the rooms are in the process of renovation via a slap of new paint, the paint odor was strong in the towels and some of the bathroom fixtures were covered in painters tape that was never removed after painting.

Computer down when checking in. Therefore long wait before room keys were issued. Pool and hot tub closed due to repair problems. This should have been mentioned on website. Empty beer can laying around the couch.

Hotel itself was fine. Lowering the rating and leaving a review because we chose this property specifically to use a pool over Spring Break. Upon arrival we learned that the pool would be closed for the majority of our stay. The staff was unhelpful, and was unwilling to offer any sort of solution or compensation "because we booked through Expedia." What a waste of rare vacation days.

Shower desperately needs cleaning. Seeing the orange mildew on the grout was not pleasing. In addition, who installs glass for the shower & does not seal it off, leaving a gap between the wall & glass. Water was puddled on the floor causing a safety hazard, even with a towel on the floor.

The bed was nice. The shower was all moldy. The bathroom was mold. It was disgusting. I wouldn’t let my dog stay in it and when I told the manager all he did was, I’ll check on it.

Location is great. Unfortunately the rooms were not that clean. The bathroom had some mold and water issues, and stains on the walls. The temperature control in the rooms was inconsistent and loud- I woke up multiple times too hot or too cold. Not what I expect from a double tree.

Very welcoming! David greeted us with a smile and warm cookies. Check in was fast and efficient. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, The hotel is located close to restaurants and the marina and attractions like the Farmers Market and Children’s Hands on museum. The hotel gave us coupons for the museum as well as a free appetizer for Anthony’s Home Port which was in walking distance of the hotel.

The staff who helped me check in had great hospitality and I wanna give him five stars, however, the room… window was covered with bird poop, junk outside of window, shower door not working and automatically opens while taking shower and that caused the floor soak wet, shampoo bottle holder was not fixed, coffee maker wss not clean, bedside table was not cleaned amd glass mark on it.

Pros: staff was friendly, within walking distance of waterfront and farmers market, room was okay Cons: someones food was still in my fridge so obviously the room wasnt thoroughly cleaned before I checked in, pool and hot tub was closed for maintenance (a fact I was not made aware of until it was too late to cancel my booking and the hottub was the selling point for me), ice machine didnt work, restaurant was not a restaurant (it was a bar that only served sandwiches and pizza), phone in my room didnt work very well and they charged $2 plus tax for the bottled water in my room (that wouldnt have been so bad if I hadnt just paid so much to stay there and the main reason I booked there was down for maintenance. The least they could do is give me free water.) I will not be staying there again.

Front desk was very helpful and friendly, place was clean, breakfast covered all the good breakfast choices, 9$ generally. I love the location and Olympia. My only complaint, and after a previous stay with the same complaint and no response, I'm a little disappointed. The shower in my expensive room was set up so that one has to stand under a cold shower to turn the shower because of the sliding door set up. I stayed there same time last year and complained and it was still wrong. It's a contractor screw up that should have been addressed long ago but they say that they're remodeling rooms and waiting for each rooms remodels, nonsense, they should fix those showers.

The staff here is very friendly. I've stayed here twice and both rooms I've had, you have to step into the shower and under the nozzle to turn the water on. I have no idea why anyone would design a shower like this. My last stay it took two calls and a visit to the front desk to get the air conditioning working.

This place is a little spendy but the location is nice it you're going to be downtown walking. The rooms are huge and clean. The showers suck bad the door opens from the wrong side and there is no way to turn on the water without getting basted by the cold water first.

The room was clean and very nice, the front desk staff was wonderful. But, the constant noise from the construction from 7:30 AM to 11:30 pm was hard. Sleeping was difficult. I’m aware that doesn’t go on all of the time, but cost versus sleep was not great.

My family and I arrived to the hotel about 2 hours before check in time. We spoke to Morgan at the front desk, and she was able to get us into our room earlier than expected. She was super kind and helpful and made check in a breeze. She also gave us information for local dinner choices, we enjoyed her recommendation!

I booked two rooms for my husband and I, and a second room for my son and his wife and baby. They said their room was dirty and the travel crib they requested from the hotel looked dirty and had stains on it. The person at the front desk was very unfriendly. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Worst service!! I'd never recommend this hotel. Our thermostat didn't work and I woke up freezing cold at night. I couldn't get the heater to turn on. The worst part is that even though I filed for a maintenance ticket with the front desk as I checked out, they would not give a partial refund at all through Expedia. Worst hotel!!

I was asked to pay for the buffet 2 different times, but I had to ask for multiple things Fork Spoon Waffle batter Syrup Coffee All things that should be number one, behind the bill that will be paid eventually. The bathroom fan vent was prob never wiped down, but the rest of the room was fairly clean.

Had an overall great stay, hotel was a close walk to 4th ave with lots of great places around, however the area is very sketchy. The entire time there was a homeless woman sitting on the bench outside of main lobby, and on the corner of the parking lot various junkies/homeless were always hanging out at all hours of the day and night. Did not trust parking my vehicle here, and of course it is up to you to make sure your vehicle is completely empty and you are responsible for any theft or damage, rather than having the hotel ensure your goods are safe and will be protected when the parking lot is directly outside where the front desk is. That being said nothing bad happened, and there was a friendly security guard on duty in the lobby at night. We found a small, curly hair in the shower upon arrival..and the shower was quite old with low water pressure, you also had to get inside the shower when turning it on so the water will hit you without being able to adjust the temperature first. Room overall was great though, comfy bed, staff was friendly and I would stay here again if I needed to be close to this area.

Great location in downtown for a pedestrian friendly experience of Olympia. The close proximity to the waterfront boardwalk and weekend farmers market for our visiting family members made the experience all the more exceptional.

average double tree - room was clean and smelled good. staff was friendly and helpful. as i was waiting for my partner to bring the car to the entrance, i witnessed two homeless people wander inside and help themselves to coffee and there was no one at the front desk. i know this is an issue in olympia, but made me uncomfortable and felt unsafe.

A literal block away I had to dodge multiple bodies passed out in the literal street from heroine overdoses while driving back to the hotel from the grocery store. There were also some drugged up zombies wondering the area. This was at around 5pm, btw. I did not feel safe taking my kid to the park across the street. Do better, Olympia! When I parked the car at the hotel I made sure to park right up front to increase the odds that it wouldn’t get broken into. Cookie was great, though!

I loved everything about my stay, the staff was great, the room was fantasic, and we had the best time in the pool! My one negative mark was breakfast is not included (i knew this when booking). I figured since the cost was $9.95 per person it would be a really good buffet so worth i didnt mind and planned on paying, but it was exactly the kind of continental breakfast you get for free at most other hotels. Still worth a 5 star review between the other amenities, the staff, and the rooms.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed which was inconvenient. Apart from that, the stay was OK. The breakfast was $9.95 on Saturday but free on Sunday, which was odd. Breakfast was pretty plain for $10 and not a lot of variety.

The staff were all fantastic throughout our stay. The hotel breakfast was delicious, and the pool and fitness center also met our expectations. The hotel is surrounded by many great restaurants and activities that were all within walking distance.
