It took quite a while to get checked in and then I was given the wrong room, but they fixed it right away and were very pleasant. No coffee in the rooms or downstairs that I could see unless you paid for coffee out of a machine.

Only thing I don’t like was that they didn’t have ice machines

The property itself was nice. Hardwood floors, clean room, cubies to put your stuff, small stove, good sized fridge, dish washer. What I didn't like was you have to pay extra if you want any dishes/coffee maker/paper towels. There's no ice machine either. Plus the girl at the front desk seemed more than happy to shoo us away without actually wanting to help. There are homeless people to the side of the building just hanging out as well. We only needed it for one night so it was fine but extended stays you'll need to bring your own supplies and ice.

The room was good size, had only one hand soap and one tiny bottle of shampoo in the room, no coffee maker. The automatic doors did not work, make it very inconvenient when bringing in and taking out personal belongings.

This place is really hard to find. There is no sign at the road, just a street number! It is not a hotel in the usual sense. It is a long term stay and the unit is more like a dorm room than what is usually expected of a hotel. You are provided with two bath towels, two washcloths, a tiny bottle of shampoo and tiny bar of soap. There is no coffee/tea other than what you can buy from a vending machine. We found two hangers and a comforter for the bed in the closet area. There was a television. There is a cooking area but not a single thing to cook or eat with. Everything in our room appeared new and very clean. The bed was very firm for us but new. When we got to our room in the evening there was a large bag of trash in the corridor waiting to be taken away. It was still there in the morning when we left. From the people hanging around the entrance it appeared that the hotel is being used to house people which is nice. It was quiet at night. All in all if you want to buy your own cookware and live here for a week or month, this is your place.

Front desk staff was friendly, room was clean,nice and spacious. I was on the 4th floor and the elevator broke down and a hotel guest was stuck in it. Bed was not comfortable. But other then that it was good.

I appreciated the extra security measures: well lit parking, access to property hallways by keycard. The room was clean and bed was not hard. Extra comforter available in the room. There was no cups or utensils in the room-although it had microwave, stovetop, dishwasher and refrigerator. Exercise room and laundry looked immaculate also.

There’s no sign and you have to find the small alley that the hotel is down. I drove past the same alley probably 10 times. The pullout couch/bed was covered in dirt and brown stains. Gross. The morning I was leaving I found bed bugs in my bed….

If you like a full of head of hair in your bed, this is the place for you! Front desk was more than willing to fix the problem by offering clean sheets for us to make the bed ourselves. Security was good, because every other guest had a pitfbull or three. More dog hair on the lobby rug than on an actual dog.

Hotels.com does not tell you that this is a hotel geared towards people to live in for an extended period of time. Due to this, you get the bare minimum. There is a kitchenette, but no dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, silverware, dish soap etc. You can buy a coffeemaker from the front desk. You have to supply EVERYTHING. Minimum housekeeping (we stayed for 9 nights and never had housekeeping), and you can trade in your linens yourself but only a certain number of times and you make your own bed. You take your own trash out to the dumpster. There were stains/food/marks on the walls and the floors were so sticky we had to mop them ourselves twice. This is a great hotel if you're looking for somewhere to live, NOT a good choice if you're just visiting the area and need a true hotel.

Hotel was dirty & trashy. Room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4. Wasn’t ready till 7. Upon arrival floor was sticky, blinds were dusty door knob was dirty, the furniture was beat up, chairs in room were dirty. Room had a clean smell but it gave me a head ache it was too strong.

Stayed for one night. Blood stained pillow, holes in the sheets, and brown goo stuck to the floor. It looked like no one vacuumed under the bed for a while. I’ve never stay at place location so dirty. The room was spacious and even had access to a stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Water ran cold after a short shower. Based on their standards of cleanliness, I would not recommend this to place to anyone.

This is a budget, extended-stay property, so be aware. The usual amenities of a standard hotel room (such as carpeting, kleenex, desk, wood-frame bed) are replaced with a small bed, full-size fridge, cooktop, sink, and dishwasher. Be aware. Hotel entrance from street is easy to miss, minimally marked.

This facility is in a very odd location back off of a main road and accessed by a long driveway. It does not feel much like a hotel. Lots of extended stay guests from what I could gather. It was clean and comfortable though, except for an odd, smoky smell in the common areas.

Place is excellent but the mattress are terrible, I wakeup every day with back pain, I wish they fix the problem because is a excellent place to stay and everything you need is very close.

Location was good, check in was easy. The bed was VERY uncomfortable though and there was no mattress cover which I thought was disgusting after learning when the sheet came up when sleeping. And we only had two top sheets to sleep with. No blanket!! The room did have good amenities like a full sized fridge and closet, microwave and stove, bathroom was a good size and not dirty, but the bed situation had my partner and I kinda grossed out and we were having trouble sleeping without a comforter or duvet. I don’t think I would stay here again.

This was a cheaper hotel option and I guess I got what I paid for. The bed was not comfortable, the temperature was either too cold or warm and damp, but the kitchen was nice to have. There was a full-size refrigerator in the room.

The room wasn't bad, just not my type of place to stay. The rooms were ok, clean just reminded me of a quick vacuum job. The bed frame is not secured to the wall, floor or heavy enough to stay put where they belong. My family did have a nick name for the room, we called it the Ikea room. Some of the selves and the bed frame reminded me of shopping at Ikea. Probably the biggest thing that really didn't fit my taste was the amount of dogs. At the checkin/out desk, you could see the dog hair on the floor mat and on the floor. We have dogs so I understand how how hard it is to keep a place clean. I didn't realize when I reserved my room that there would so many. On the way to my room, I noticed a few magnets on the door frame of other rooms that said something like animals or dogs in room. On our second night I had to run out to the car and on my way back in, I noticed like 3 people with dogs in the hallway. Overall, this place is average, just not my kind of place.

Room was very well appointed and clean. More of a long term suite with full appliances. Room was quiet except for the air filter device which ran constantly and was a bit too loud. Otherwise a very nice place to stay. Highly recommend.

Check in process was problematic. Although my credit card was showing approval for the temporary authorization for incidentals the front desk person requested I tap my card four times. They need to figure out the glitch in their system to avoid this for future customers. I looked afterward and gave four pre authorization holds on this credit are just from trying to check in. It made for a terrible first impression.

From the start the front desk not properly trained for basic questions and answers. Upon my arrival I was asked for my credit card and got charged an additional fee on top of my prepaid Expedia reservation. Three days later I tried to find out why this deposit has not been returned, I called several times and finally got a hold of Samantha who she said is a manager but the situation ended worst hanging up the phone in a very rude and unprofessional manner and saying you need to address this issue with Expedia, up to this date I have not received any answers or deposits back on my account. Please make sure if you book online let them know to clarify overcharges by getting your receipt from this facility.

You may have a reservation with a confirmed itinerary number at WoodSpring Suites Olympia Lacey, but don’t get lulled into a false sense of security that you have a place to stay. According to the front desk employee on the evening of 5/4/24, this property takes guests off the street on a “first come, first served” basis over reservations booked on Expedia so when we arrived to check in, our room was no longer available. Matter of fact, there were no rooms available so we had to scramble to book a room elsewhere. Expedia refunded us promptly which was a relief, but WoodSpring Suites has yet to offer to pay for our accommodations elsewhere after turning us away.

Very Rude staff from Top to Bottom.

The room was great, It was super clean, The check-in was ok. However there was a situation. I had a reservation for the previous 2 nights and had added my wife to the room. When I added another night to my stay the staff closed out the previous reservation and created a new one. When they did this my wife was removed. At the end of the day my wife and I arrived separately and the hotel staff working would not let my wife into the room or make her a new key card stating she was not on the reservation. The staff was extremely rude to my wife and went so far to tell ask her to leave the property and if she did not they were going to call security. I called the hotel and tried to explain the situation and the woman was then rude to me and told me I could deal with it in the morning. My wife and I were from out of town and would of had no where to go. So I left the place I was at to go back to the hotel and get my wife in the door. The woman working that night was again very rude and almost was not going to let my wife stay. She claimed my wife gave her the wrong room number. Either way neither of us would like to stay here again.

Check in was straight forward and efficient. A very kind young lady to check me in and the manager was kind and professional. A side note is that there is a $100 incidental fee in case of damage in the room. Other reviews indicated that there have been occasions where long stay customers have been double billed for incidental fees. Emphasizing at check-in that you are not to be double billed for incidental fees might work and to please notify via note on portfolio the night auditor. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. As a side note, there are no utensils, plates, pots, pans, etc. that one might expect at long term hotels. Come with your own! Clean and fresh towels. Shower was clean. My room faced the freeway but was able to sleep soundly. Overall, I had a wonderful one night stay!

After having trouble getting my small children to sleep due to dogs howling and barking in the hotel, at 10pm a man entered our room demanding his medication. I yelled for fim to get out and he stood outside my door still yelling. It was the most terrifying experience as a mom travelling alone with young kids. The phone in the room didn't work. I was unable to call for help. I used my cell phone to call front desk. The girl said she was trying to resolve it, be up shortly and hung up. I called 4 times no answer. The 5th time she answered and again stated she was dealing with him and be up then again just hung up.... i ended up having to go downstairs. The girl seemed overwhelmed but the lack of urgency in a terrifying situation made me want to leave on top of a dirty room and pet noise. I was offered a new key card or switch rooms but just wanted a refund and to leave. I am not sure if he was in the room before and his key card wasn't deactivated but it was completely unnacceptable. Almost 1 week later and i am still waiting for a manager to call me and a refund. I am lucky the man didn't attack us worse. Worst experience ever.

Severe difficulty in finding the place. The staff was super friendly but Ignores the complaints about finding the property. Also is no effort to dampen the noise from the freeway. I was supposed to stay another night but checked out the next day. Never again.

Poor location, literally next to a highway, lots of homless walking the streets, the entrance is a 100ft one lane entrance that has a blind turn in. Lack of parking. So dont expect a large truck or even moving truck to get in. The facility is more like a apartment with a stove and dish washer. On top of this they charged me twice for a deposit of $100 each. Waited 20 minutes for staff to come to front desk at check in.

They need to do a better job on locating this hotel, no advertisement or signs leading to the hotel, the hotel is behind a storage unit, it had no sign view from the street leading to the hotel,it's hidden in the back you have to go through almost an alley to go back to it.which was alittle scary.I was lost nearly 15 minutes trying to find this place.

Difficult to find the entrance. When we finally found the hotel, there was a gauntlet of homeless people milling around in the driveway. Other than that, good hotel.

The room was large perfect for more than two people sharing a room. Everyone staying at the hotel and the staff were friendly. The property is off the main road which was nice since that part of WA is a little rough.

Property is behind another business with a narrow entrance to the back along side I-5. Also no pool,no hot tub. Too many questionable characters around the hotel. The room was clean but no shower curtain and the contents of a vacuum cleaner were "dumped" at entryway- I had to tell clerk about both to remedy.

This was a nice, clean, convenient place to stay during our stop in Olympia. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is convenient. I would suggest adding signage outside from main road as the turn off to come up the driveway is VERY vague and I missed it almost every time we pulled in. Coffee in the lobby would be a nice addition rather than the vending machine. Also, better bathroom toiletries would be a nice addition. All in all, we liked our stay here very much.

If you’re looking for a longer term stay, and you’re hauling everything you need to cook, store, and eat meals - this may be a good place for you because there’s a kitchenette. The hotel is clean and the staff are nice, but that’s where the positives end. Want coffee in your room? A coffee maker is extra. So are utensils, plates and cookware. Have allergies and need tissue? You’ll need to use the 1-ply toilet paper. There’s no boxed tissue. Like a blanket on your bed? You’ll get 2 thin sheets. Want free WiFi? Got to hotspot your phone or pay extra. Have a dog along for your stay? Great! Dogs are allowed - any size of dog. In fact, if you own a pit bull, you’ll be in good company here. Our 2 small dogs were nearly attacked by an aggressive pit bull getting off the elevator as its owner struggled to hold the leash. Lots of big dogs on site. We woke up one morning to find a big load of fresh dog poop outside our door. The hotel is also very close to Interstate 5. It was so noisy all night, we didn’t fall asleep until 3:30 am (from pure exhaustion). We bought earplugs for our 2nd night. Those helped. As other reviewers have stated, this hotel is clearly a hotel providing long term stays for people down on their luck. We didn’t have any problems with the folks using it as a temp residence. They were all pretty quiet. We’ve encountered much noisier people in more expensive hotels. There is a lot of smoking outside, however. It’s really more of a hostel than hotel.

No toilet paper in the bathroom. Hair in the bed. Hair in the shower. No coffee...unless you want vending machine coffee. No comforter on the bed. Just a sheet and another funcky sheet thing that was supposed to qualify as a comforter. Dirtbags hanging out at the entrances. The entry off the main street is almost invisible. Just a horrible place for the ridiculous rice of $150

Not sure if problems w booking are from hotel end or hotels.com. No breakfast. No accessible rooms available. Poor signage to find location.
