It was just a 1 night stay to get quickly to the airport the next morning. They had some kind of problem with the big shuttle bus but quickly arranged 2 smaller buses so everyone could get to Schiphol on time for their flights. Chapeau.

There was no problem with the Airport shuttle service. It was in fact the only plus during our stay. We will be addressing our dissatisfaction directly with the hotel, however Expedia should let clients know when a hotel is under construction and hotel staff are so overwhelmed, they are unable to provide even basic service. Also, your photo above is outdated, this area doesn't even exist.

Room was too hot no aircon working. demolishing the ajoining building so very noisy. tv never worked for our 2 day stay despite remarks from staff saying it would be fixed sooner than later. no bar or restaurant due to renovation

Zimmer konnte leider nicht richtig gelüftet werden somit war sehr stickige Luft im Zimmer. Klimaanlage geht laut Personal nicht da die Außentemperaturen zu kalt seien. Oberflächen waren sauber. Aber beispielsweise wurde unter dem Bett wurde schon länger nicht mehr gereinigt. Sonst ein guter Aufenthalt!

The rooms were dirty. Stayed there for 2 night and house keeping didn't even bother to clean the room next day... Room was missing coffee and soap and just basis stuff in the room were missing. Was dirty. Dust all over

Room. Al llegar una de las habitaciones estaba sucia. Aún habían toallas en el suelo y basura en el zafacon. Al notificarlo respondieron rápido y nos cambiaron de habitación. En cambio, en la otra habitación aunque todo se veía bien al otro día nos percatamos que habían unas medias en el clóset que no nos correspondía y sucio debajo de las cortinas. Por lo que deben mejorar la limpieza. De lo demás no puedo opinar pues solo nos quedamos 1 noche.

We only stayed for a night before our very early flight. The room seemed dirty. Lots of little red flakes on the floor and bed. The hotel guests were noisy at all hours, I get that it's near the airport and people arrive at all our but it seemed like our neighbors were jumping rooms.

This hotel was sufficient for our purposes. We had a long layover and left in the morning. The transportation to the airport was great. The Restaurant was pretty good but on the pricy side. The staff was very friendly. The price is great for the area. There really isn't anything else near the hotel but we knew that when we scheduled. The hotel itself is very utilitarian and appears to be going through some much needed renovations which is good. Our room window kept popping open and the handle to secure it was missing (from both windows). Very disappointing for a Best Western. Overall, served our purpose and we weren't adversely impacted by the drawbacks. I just wouldn't stay there longer than we did.

Very noisy place. People coming and going at all times of the night, loud noise penetrating due to poor insulation. Beds are terrible, very soft and guaranteed to wake up with back pain. Won’t stay there again.

Das Gebäude ist sehr alt und wird gerade renoviert. In der Dusche hat der Ablauf nicht funktioniert und hat das ganze Badezimmer geflutet. Betten sind sehr weich und haben sehr unbequeme Kissen. Das Laken verrutscht bei jeder Bewegung und man liegt auf der bloßen Matratze. Ich würde es nicht nochmal buchen!

Rooms were basic, poor lighting in the rooms, no central ceiling light. The lamp lighting were very dim.The kettle took around 10 minutes to boil. If you wanted just a 1 night stay, it's suitable. I think in European terms, I'd give this is a 1.5 to 2 star rating

Unfortunately due to confusion over my departure date, my clothes and other items were taken from my room by housekeeping, and worse, they claimed they had not done so, causing something of an argument with a receptionist who would not take responsibility for the error, nor would he apologise, nor did he know what had happened to my possessions. Worse still, he then implied the whole situation was my fault for not putting a “do not clean my room” notice on my door. This is now subject to a formal complaint, but I’m back in the UK without my clothes and belongings. This hotel seems certainly one to avoid.

Very pleasant stays one night after arrival and later one night before departure. Rooms were spacious clean and well appointed. Staff very friendly, especially Ronald who checked us in very helpful. Airport shuttle ran regularly and on time.

The service was terrible. Then they tried to make me pay more when I arrived. I was so tired when I arrived, I needed to sleep or I would have left and found a different hotel. They were rude, the bed was terrible and the room was not very clean. I would never stay there again.

Best Western tries to provide a worthy stay in comparison to other Schiphol hotels. What made a difference at Best Western was Roland, the great person at the reception desk. Roland and his guest understanding and service makes this hotel special.

We got room on the first floor that was no "De Lux" (as per room description). Bathroom was smelling very bad, the safe not working and (old), bad internet signal TV screen colours was dull. However, after our inquiry, hotel staff member by name Davis was great, spent time to hear our needs and gave us another room in the different hotel wing and that room was great, as described in advertisements. Thank you Davis!!! Hotel has great airport shuttle service we used to catch the train to downtown Amsterdam.

Our stay for one night to be close to the airport was fine despite the logistics of Reno’s going on. Front desk was moved to partner hotel. They had a complimentary bottle of rosé and 2 juices in our room as a form of apology for any inconveniences which was a nice touch. My concern with the disorganization is that I paid in full through Expedia in February for this stay in September and the payment even included the local tax. Upon check in, we were charged the local tax and at check out, we were charged for the room. I had to submit proof of payment to the person at the desk which she said she would submit to head office but I have not heard from them nor seen charges reversed on my credit card.

It was pretty disappointing to have only one person on checkin when the shuttle bus arrived at the hotel. What should have been a seemless checkin turned into a 30 minute wait to be checked in. Not the greatest hotel I’ve stayed in

I flew in for one night and wanted dinner. Literally, only a single McDonald's in the area. As someone from the States, we don't actually eat McDonald's at home. It's not the hotel's fault, but I'm answering the last question of the survey honestly - there are horrible, or no, options for dinner in the area. Not even a convenient store to grab snacks and water.

Voordat we op een korte stedentrip gingen besloten we met 3 vrienden eerst een nacht te boeken in dit hotel. De aankomst was wat rommelig, zo zijn ze bezig aan het hotel en kan je niet goed zien waar de ingang van het hotel is. Ook de hotelbar was dicht. Daarom moesten we uitwijken naar het naastgelegen/aangebouwde Bastion Hotel waar we hartelijker werden ontvangen. De hotelbar open was en ze mee wilde denken in hoe we om 05.00 van het hotel naar Schiphol zouden komen. Kortom, verblijf was goed, maar dat kwam vooral door de service van de buren.

The room was spacious, well laid out, fine bathroom, and clean. Breakfast was very good. Only complaint, and not the hotel's fault, there is construction going on next door, so noisy from 7 am onward. Nice free shuttle to airport was right on time. A short drive from airport. I would stay there again.
