Room 103/104 The courtyard rooms are right opposite or next to a very large fan/generator I think. And that kicks in periodically and loudly throughout the night. The breakfast was a bit of a let down to be fair. Seemed to be only one chap running around serving the drinks. The room itself is fab, and spacious, but the bed creaks, a lot, so you wake each other up turning in your sleep. Amersham itself is a lovely place and the hotel is really nice. I would still recommend, but just avoid the courtyard rooms and skip the hotel breakfast and maybe opt one of the lovely nearby cafes.

Wow I certainly appreciated the strong AC after a couple weeks with none. Very nice property and a decent breakfast. Easy access to London too if you want to see a show. Highly recommended.

Friendly and helpful staff. Parking isn’t obvious from the front but plenty of room once you’ve found it! Room was huge and very comfortable. Aircon was a real bonus. The breakfast was particularly good - freshly cooked so piping hot! Thoroughly recommend The Crown. Great location too.

I had such a pleasant welcome when I arrived after travelling for several hours, and only to find out I'd be granted a free upgrade to my room. The room itself was lovely - full of character and wonkiness(!); my only critique might be that it could really build a bit more warmth with some artwork on the walls. The bathroom was great with everything needed and the bed was huge and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and very generous in portion size - I had the scrambled eggs with salmon and a gluten free option on the toast. Thanks for a great stay - will be sure to book again when I am this way again for work.
