Hotel rooms were very nice but a little away from the "pub". We were fairly lucky in having a room furthest away from the A55 so the traffic didn\'t bother us too much. Would have been nice to have a shower that wasn\'t over the bath, too awkward for us "oldies" to get into! Room service was on request only. "Pub" was more of a restaurant than a drinking venue with no TV\'s

Room clean but decor ‘tired’. Toilet roll holder not securely attached to wall. Main light in bathroom not working. Unable to securely lock room door once inside. Bar closed at 10, despite being told it was open until 11. Ample parking and close to A55.

Great location for our golf tournament in Abergele. Staff were outstanding and very helpful and in particular special mention to Elise(hope I have the correct name) who was very helpful before and during our stay. Nothing was too much for her to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Sadly, one of our group lost his wallet in the hotel which hasn't been found. The rooms were great other than the small beds in the twin rooms. A recommended hotel to stay and the restaurant on site a big plus

A good starting point for sightseeing in case you are driving. The castles in the area (Rhuddlan, Conwy, Grwych) or Llandudno er just a short drive away. Also it is next to nothing from the highway. Clean and quiet rooms (we got a room in the annex), not an overpriced restaurant right at the hotel next to it. Would return.

3 rd time staying at talardy and very disapointed this time . Room needed a good clean dust on skirting boards all the way round room on floor on top of cupboards bath was dirty upon arriving in room .bed was the most uncomfortable ive had the pleasure of teying to sleep on . Massive spot light outside window on all.night lite up room even with blackput curtains . Constant drone of a generator running all night. This was our 3rd vistit and probably our last. Usually very good but not on this occasion.

Clean room with everything that was needed for an overnight stay. Check in was simple - I used the online check in system and the front of house staff were quick, efficient and friendly. Food in the attached pub was great as well

Parking aplenty. Check in smooth Room was nice and clean.plenty of amenities. Room was cold but unable to put heating on. Room was warm at night though. Soap dispensers were a bit old fashioned. Bed a bit to firm for us.

The room was clean but out of date with a shower over the bath.Because of my age I was not able to use as getting in or out of it was not easy also no bath mat supplied.The door key card stopped working after a day which meant going back down to the reception to have it sorted.The room was very warm and we were unable to open a window,a fan was in the room but very noisy,couldn’t sleep with it on.

Stayed in room 7 main building that had no air con but only a fa ,so slept with the window open. The annex however does have air con. Food was nice and cider on draught. Service in the bar/ restaurant was very good despite being very busy.

Room was large but a bit dated, functional. The evening meal was very disappointing- the service was terrible. No one came to ask if our food was ok, we were forgotten about completely and by the time we asked for service to order dessert, we were told the kitchen was closed! Loss for them. Wouldn’t eat here again if there were other choices.

We normally get rooms in the new lodge, but this time we were given a room in the main building. The room was a good size as was the bathroom and very comfortable. The ony issue was road noise early in the morning which ww never had when we stayed in the lodge. Overall though a very pleasant stay as usual.

The separate accommodation block is in dire need of attention. The seals on the window were non-existent so was a lot of traffic noise and wind. Something banging and crashing in the roof all night.

Have stayed before and it’s been fine, and recommended family, but this time was pretty poor. Counter staff not really interested at all so bar staff had to help each time I went to reception. They were great but checked us in to a room that was taken already which was a shock for the guest in place. No rooms in same building while staying with kids meant a messed up night all around. Not great, and no real attempt to apologise or make it good from hotel staff.

We stay at the Talardy often.the staff are amazing and the setting is magical . We celebrated our Ruby wedding last weekend with our daughter. A quiet meal, no fuss. When we arrived we were greeted with a beautifully decorated table with a complementary bottle of bubbly, red hearts and service like no other. I can’t thank the staff,especially Kathy, for making our day so very special.Thank you

I have stayed twice at the Talardy when my dad has been in hospital. The staff are amazing, very caring and quick to help. The first time I stayed in the main building, this time in the annex. Both are very good, and I appreciated the air con as I arrived in a heat wave. The rooms are very clean and roomy. The breakfasts are cooked fresh and very filling. After spending the day with dad I would come back and have an evening meal, again cooked fresh, plenty of choice and excellent service. I felt very welcomed. The only quibble I have is that reception in the annex was hit and miss so I missed a couple of calls. If that gets improved then it will be 10/10 rather than a 9.5.

Have used the hotel several times & every time the food has been bad! The rooms always good. This time we had a suite with a separate bedroom & the lights in the bedroom did not work & the bathroom light did not work so just a dim spot in there it was dark! There was also no plugs I could find in the second room either. Checking in took 20 mins & I was the first in the long line waiting to check in. The lady who came to check us in was lovely & apologised for the wait, there was obviously not enough staff. Later we waited 10 mins to get served at the bar & we were the only people waiting. Great hotel to stay & good value but food & staffing are a problem

Very good value for money. Room and facilities also good. Unfortunately this accommodation is very close to the A 55 and noise from the traffic was heard all night so need to take earplugs! Inn itself only had 2 tables available for people who wanted a drink only so no separate sitting area for guests. All the staff were very pleasant

A very good hotel conveniently placed on the North Wales Expressway. Plenty of parking and the standard of rooms is very good. The staff are helpful and friendly and the full English/Welsh breakfast is the best I’ve had

Stayed here 3 times and each time the staff were really polite and friendly. Good food although its a pub menu so based on pub grub was presented well. Shame they dont do more varied menu with more salads and baked spuds with fillings too. Clean and tidy rooms and ample parking .

No shower gel or hand cleaner in dispenser. Toilet seat loose. Broken clothes hanger in closet. Breakfast was oily, dry bacon, couldn’t eat the mushroom as it was tough as rubber and oily. Pork sausages were overcooked and dry. When complaining to staff member about the room at breakfast, no apology made, only said she’ll report it to housekeeping.

Clean, well maintained, modern and comfy room with all amenities including a hairdryer and a fan (needed for the warm weather!) my stay was lovely and quiet. I had dinner which was delicious (good choice, well cooked and presented) and a really friendly service from all staff at all times. Only downside was breakfast which was really poor. Underwhelming continental (toast, cereal, pastries) with coffee in sachets and sad looking fruit. I ordered poached eggs on toast (extra charge), which came on low quality soggy supermarket bread. I’d be happy to pay more for a good quality breakfast! Overall a pleasant and comfy stay.
