Reception was fine however not the best experience in my room. Non working Wi-Fi was the biggest problem. Showed 3 bars but actually no connection at all for the 3 days I was there. Had to drive to local pub to read emails! Room wasn’t particularly clean, with dust on bedside tables and chairs. One of the mugs in the room hadn’t been cleaned properly with some of the previous person’s remnants in the bottom. Bathroom looked clean enough but bath was seriously chipped and along with wobbly shower head, really needed updating. Not a great experience and will not be staying there again.

Check in was easy and the staff member was pleasant. The room was clean and in good condition. Bed was comfy, shower decent and everything worked. Nothing good on the site for dinner so a trek out is necessary or you can have a delivery. There's a microwave in reception if you want to get a ready meal from Waitrose on site. Well in all, excellent, would stay here again definitely.

The services closed at 8pm! I think that is a little too early when you are stopping and need food. We ended up getting Uber Eats from a local Chinese which was lovely. The hotel is a little dated but did what it said in the tin.. would stay there again. Lauren, the lady on the desk ant the hotel was absolutely lovely.. very helpful and informative. An asset to the company 💜

We arrived at the hotel at Sedgmoor services only to be told there is a £5 per day booking charge for parking as we booked with Expedia. If I had booked direct with hotel it was free. Stayed 2 nights and slept neither. We stayed in Room 2, avoid if you want a quiet night. Guests outside window smoking and drinking until just after midnight on both nights shouting and laughing loudly. Faeces stain on carpet. No toilet roll on arrival. Hotel needs money spending on it to freshen it up and the carpet either needs replacing or a deep clean, disgusting. I originally thought it was similar to a Travelodge but how wrong was I. The usual privileged few in a Range Rover parking in a disabled bay and not displaying a badge. No mention by staff to said privileged Range Rover driver to go and park in a non disabled space. Overall I will in future avoid staying at any Days Inn. My daughter stayed in the same hotel but on the first floor and she had soiled carpet in her room, absolutely disgusting. Smoking benches should be away from the building. Not nice being heckled by drunk men.

Room was dirty tired and desperate need of a refurb bed was 2 singles joined but so worn you roll into the middle carpet was stinking and looked like hadnt been hoovered in ages only stay if desperate or just need to get head down for couple hours

First time opening the door was the smell in the room just hit all 3 of us,it’s smell off damp and the bed sheets was stained and dirty,the bathroom got hairs in the sink,bath and floor,carpet was stained and dirty,there was actually dirty toilet paper on the toilet seat and crumbs on the bedsheets.complaint to reception she was great ,got us another room but still not great so ask for refund and went to another hotel.first time stay there and will be our last time unfortunately.

I liked that it was close to our destination & had a comfortable bed. However, it was too noisy too sleep, there were people slamming doors at midnight, 2am, 5am etc and lots of banging on the floor. The noise from lorries idling in the car park made the windows shame. Glazing was poor, it was old with lots of gaps which let in the cold air & noise.

Large room. Very clean. Beds not overly comfortable but only there 1 night. Room was also very hot and windows opened minimally , there was a fan provided which was a godsend. Smoke alarm flashing light was very irritating above the double bed as very bright . Overall very good , perfect cheap stopover for airport, staff very welcoming and friendly. Not sure i could do more than 1 night though

It’s a nice hotel for a few days. It would be good to have the check-in instructions before arrival. We received the email with when we could check in after the arrival time and another email the following morning! Other than that, the hotel is very basic but nice and the rooms are very big which is a bonus

As a wheelchair user, I am dependent on prhers for help andd the staff were brilliant. Unfortunately, my sleep was very much disturbed because my room (number 1) is at the bottom of the stairs and the door from reception banging, together with footsteps going up the stairs disturbed my sleep a lot. It was also very easy to hear every word uttered in that area. Sound proofing for that room is needed. Otherwise it's a good accessible room

The springs were coming through the mattress. They couldn’t change it as the hotel was full. They gave us a couple of extra duvets to lie on but it didn’t really help. We were told to complain to a specific email address in the morning but have not had any response in nearly 2 weeks!

Lauren Phillips was the attendant or receptionist for the day at the desk and she was exceptionally wonderful with all her help. Went into the room looked for my childs toy where i explained it would be when i called to tell her we would return to collect the forgotten toy! She was not irritated or anything. So kind and helpful!

The night receptionist was rude, she couldn’t find the key to my room so put me in another which wasn’t ready, I had no hand wash or shower gel. Normally I would go back down to reception and say but didn’t check in until after midnight from a long flight

We stayed at the same hotel on two different nights as it was half way to our destination. On the first night there was no bed made up for our daughter, wall light not working and no towels in the room. So much so the front desk agent even laughed at how badly the housekeeping had got our room. We made the agent at the time aware of our issues. We returned three days later to stay in the same room with again no towels and wall lights not working, the single bed for our daughter was made up on this occasion. When customers make you aware of the issues you would expect them to be resolved especially checking how many guests are staying in the room and making simple things like towels available and customers not having to chase for them. Its these little things, especially with children, that can make or break a stay

Awful stay. Corridors were covered in KFC rubbish, empty alcohol bottles, ripped plastic bags. First room I was given, i opened the door and 2 people were asleep in it! Back downstairs and not even an apology just an excuse about staffing. Awful. Awful. Awful.

Very friendly and helpful staff who were only too happy to help. We did have an issue where our room wasn't turned over despite us following the process and leaving the card hanging on our door, but reception were able to sort us out. There's not a great deal of facilities, but some basics are for sale at reception and anything else is readily available from the nearby services. We used the hotel as a base for a short holiday and generally there was about an hours travel to get to anywhere (Bath, Cheddar Gorge for example.) On paper the hotel seems closer but due to having to travel northbound on the motorway to the next junction first this does add time. Not the hotel's fault in anyway but be mindful if booking as a base for a holiday as often distances are reported "as the crow flies" to tourist locations.

It is located on the M5 but we were amazed at how quiet it was in the room. The view from the bedroom window was of fields and trees which was totally unexpected. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful.

I've stayed here a few times - this time it was a stay before a flight from Bristol (approx 30 mins drive). It's good, simple, clean accommodation at a reasonable price. Not too much road noise, and the service station is a walk away if you need food. Staff are always nice, and if the small car park is full you are able to park in the services car park and put your reg in there machine. Will stay again.

Only stayed due to a late flight and not wanting to drive home tired. Didn’t know I had to pay for parking on arrival, wasn’t given breakfast vouchers (until the morning when a very helpful member of staff came on duty) and the mattress on the single bed was rock hard. Breakfast was really good. The signage is really poor for travelling southbound but again the member of staff helped with this.

For the price I couldn't fault it. Basic but clean and comfortable rooms with a surprisingly powerful shower. The dinning options are a bit disappointing as the service station only has a burger king, Starbucks and a noodle bar, as the subway was closed by 4.30. However this could be remedied by eating before arrival or ordering in. The view from the back rooms were excellent it was like being in a remote country hotel, you couldn't hear the motorway. I will definitely be staying here again.
