Firstly, the reception staff were very helpful allowing us to check in early as we had a wedding to attend to elsewhere. The waiting staff were great too However, a very busy private wedding at the hotel made the very small bar and garden area inaccessible. Later in the evening the noise from these guests interrupted our sleep for most of the night till 3am.There is very limited disabled parking and a long way to walk to disabled friendly rooms. Therfore, I would not stay here again

Stayed here many times but this will be the last im afraid. Yes, the rooms and carpets have been upgraded but our room (47) had a faulty gutter outside and the rain was pouring down against the window making it impossible to sleep. The Spa jacuzzi has been out of action for over 2 years. The steam room was also out of action and the water fountain looks like its been ripped out the wall. Dinner was dire and cold as was breakfast. Congealed scrambled eggs, cold sausages and beans. Coffee mugs that dont hold the amount dispensed from the machine, resulting in a mug of white water with very little coffee in it. The hotel could be great again but at the moment there are too many things that need sorting. On a good note, the staff are welcoming and friendly.

Hotel had recently had an uplift all area's felt clean and modern. Good clean, spacious room, comfortable bed. Unfortunately swimming pool was out of order which was a disappointment, as,it was something we had looked forward to enjoying. Staff helpful and pleasant, good parking.

Not to far from where I was working, the hotel is clean and tidy. has all the facilities you require. I had a room which appeared to be above the gym and you could hear the clonk clonk of the weights. not good if you are trying to sleep after a night shift. I asked to be in another room but none available. so this week I'm definitely in another room.

One of many stays at this hotel, The majority of staff are welcoming and friendly. Facilities have been adequate. But last room was getting to look a bit tired in the bathroom as the shower splash to easily onto the MDF skirting board, leaving flakey paint and swallow boards. Also the neighbouring room extractor fan sounded if it’s only a blade missing due to the bad vibration which resonated through the wall. The Spa is now looking in need of a major overhaul. The most unfortunate experience was the Restaurant which has been up to now a very pleasant affair but on my last night 22/01 we had to wait over 45 mins. for two cold starters slab of pate and bread, followed by the incorrect 2 main dish being served with the waiter high tailing it away once the plates where delivered. I’m back there for 2 more weeks so let’s hope for some improvements

The hotel was great for our needs as we had a wedding reception at another hotel. There was a wedding also at hotel we were staying in so a bit noisy later. Mostly the constant beat of music which seemed to go on a lot later than we expected! Room is clean and comfortable however soundproofing not great. Our neighbour seems to keep bathroom light on so sound from extractor fan going for ages-woke us up! Because of various noise issues would not stay again! Maybe we were unlucky with room location

Easy check in service available by email, staff are very friendly. I had a good room that looks fresh and upto date and the bed was really comfortable, i normally find beds a problem but this was a good one. I have stayed here before when on business and would highly recommend.

Friendly welcoming staff, but a little stressed when there’s a function on. Bathroom fans do need updating as rather noisy or just put a humidity sensor on them so when someone uses the bathroom at 3:00am it doesn’t wake up thee rooms.

Location and staff were great but they do need to fix the bathroom extractor fan issue as they are very noisy especially when the adjacent room leaves the bathroom light on all night.

The staff were lovely. Breakfast was a bit slow and it was difficult to see who was directing operations. Sound-proofing was not great - a room near us (perhaps above) was chatting from 4 am on our first night and playing dance music loudly for much of our second night. As there was no air conditioning we had opened the windows to try to cool down but had to close them in an effort to stop the noise but it didn’t do much. Unfortunately we also had a fire alarm go off while we were still in bed and had been given a code for the safe which locked it and it took 24 hours to regain access to our valuables. Overall there was just something ‘off’ about the service (the problem with the safe not being passed on to the next shift; being referred to by our room number not our name; being suggested that we open the bottle of champagne ourselves etc) and we thought that staff training might have been a bit lacking. The potential was there, it just needed refinement.

Otherwise I would have to use a small fan provided.

Breakfast is chaotic every morning. 1st morning 30 minute wait after ordering. 2nd morning my order was forgotten to the point I had to leave before being served, waiter came back 20 minutes later to advise the order was forgotten and I can reorder again.

Firstly, the reception staff were very helpful allowing us to check in early as we had a wedding to attend to elsewhere. The waiting staff were great too However, a very busy private wedding at the hotel made the very small bar and garden area inaccessible. Later in the evening the noise from these guests interrupted our sleep for most of the night till 3am.There is very limited disabled parking and a long way to walk to disabled friendly rooms. Therfore, I would not stay here again

Not to far from where I was working, the hotel is clean and tidy. has all the facilities you require. I had a room which appeared to be above the gym and you could hear the clonk clonk of the weights. not good if you are trying to sleep after a night shift. I asked to be in another room but none available. so this week I'm definitely in another room.

Breakfast is chaotic every morning. 1st morning 30 minute wait after ordering. 2nd morning my order was forgotten to the point I had to leave before being served, waiter came back 20 minutes later to advise the order was forgotten and I can reorder again.

Stayed here many times but this will be the last im afraid. Yes, the rooms and carpets have been upgraded but our room (47) had a faulty gutter outside and the rain was pouring down against the window making it impossible to sleep. The Spa jacuzzi has been out of action for over 2 years. The steam room was also out of action and the water fountain looks like its been ripped out the wall. Dinner was dire and cold as was breakfast. Congealed scrambled eggs, cold sausages and beans. Coffee mugs that dont hold the amount dispensed from the machine, resulting in a mug of white water with very little coffee in it. The hotel could be great again but at the moment there are too many things that need sorting. On a good note, the staff are welcoming and friendly.

Spacious room and very friendly staff. Good Wi—Fi connectivity (might seem like a strange thing to mention but several hotels fail at this). Breakfast in the restaurant was served quickly, was generous and very good. One downside to mention is the lack of air conditioning. Seems like many UK hotels are still allergic to them, for some reason. Seems like in this day and age having an AC should be the bare minimum. Fortunately the temperature was not too high. Otherwise I would have to use a small fan provided.

One of many stays at this hotel, The majority of staff are welcoming and friendly. Facilities have been adequate. But last room was getting to look a bit tired in the bathroom as the shower splash to easily onto the MDF skirting board, leaving flakey paint and swallow boards. Also the neighbouring room extractor fan sounded if it’s only a blade missing due to the bad vibration which resonated through the wall. The Spa is now looking in need of a major overhaul. The most unfortunate experience was the Restaurant which has been up to now a very pleasant affair but on my last night 22/01 we had to wait over 45 mins. for two cold starters slab of pate and bread, followed by the incorrect 2 main dish being served with the waiter high tailing it away once the plates where delivered. I’m back there for 2 more weeks so let’s hope for some improvements

Lovely superior room with doors to the courtyard, only down side was no chairs by the doors so couldn't seat out. Went to the bar, waited 20 minutes for a member of staff to appear. He appeared with his young son (about 6 years old). The normal drinks dispenser was intermittent so couldn't have the drink of my choice and he didn't seem to care. So we left the bar. Evening meal at the restaurant was lovely although there was only 1 waitress. She couldn't do enough for us but was singularly seating and serving 6 tables. Breakfast was nice. Cooked was fresh and regularly replenished.

Stayed for two nights on a work visit. First visit and pleasantly surprised by the room and facilities. The swimming pool was closed during the stay, but is being refurbished. The room was clean and comfy with free on site parking. Enjoyed a good night’s sleep and a delicious buffet breakfast. Would recommend and look forward to staying again.

The room was clean and spacious. It lacked air conditioning or at least a fan as it was stiflingly hot. Dinner menu was good and we had the lasagne and the ravioli both were excellent. Breakfast unfortunately was below par and could do with some improvements. But an enjoyable stop over.
