Hermitage Park Hotel

A nice little hotel. Good for an overnight stay with good facilities and 24 check in

Check-in was very quick our rooms were ready on arrival. The room was clean and adequate for my requirements, I cannot fault it. The full English breakfast was very good, and oh my gosh the staffs are so friendly it’s unbelievable. I would definitely stay there again.. PS. parking is free

No staff when we arrived had to ring a bell, bar closed, no restaurant open, Uncomfortable bed, no one around when we checked out either.

Big parking place. Nice, clean and quiet room. The people who work there are all very kind and with excellent service!

The only thing I would say is that it was a bit cold in the communal areas.

The parking facilities were good and the room was nice the staff were friendly and helped me by getting me an accessible room .

Parking could be improved with numbers which matches your room number. Bed was uncomfortable and only had one pillow each. We feel this would improve the stay

Clean, friendly & good service. Good parking. Decor is a bit tired, and the room was pretty basic, but otherwise fine. Restaurant not open Fri-Sun but there's a good Turkish restaurant and an Indian Tapas restaurant in town. Try the micro brewery pub, nothing flash, just good beer & cider. Easy walk into town from the hotel (10 mins). Give the 'Biker pub' over the road a miss, it was crud!

A comfy bed coupled with a clean room and a good breakfast. Throw in friendly and helpful staff and you've got all you need for an overnight stay. Never lets me down.

Toilet had poo in it, bathroom floor had not been swept, bath mat was still wet, and the shower head leaked . Bed was clean and tidy. Generally the room and hotel is very tired looking, it needs a good clean and re decorating. Personally, would not recommend or would stay there again.

Clean but very dated. Cracked bathroom tiles. Shower pressure was dreadful. Staff were wonderful

We arrived to a poo left in the toilet, which refused to flush until the next day. Adjoining door to next room was locled but could see straight through the key hole. Only noticed when leaving. Beds were so bouncy they were like sleeping on a bouncy castlr!

We just had a one night stay to attend an event nearby. The room was very clean, you could smell the cleaning products. Had everything that you needed and we had a good nights sleep. We were already having breakfast at the venue we were going to, but the hotel breakfast did smell lovely when we left. The only negative was it is in need of a lick of paint.

Bedroom was clean, tidy and spacious plus accommodating ensuite. I was only here one night. Breakfast was a wide and tasty choices serve yourself set up.

Slightly faded entrance area but the room was spotless and comfortable. There is a huge car park. The receptionist was very helpful

Room 23 - electric sockets went off sometime during night so unable to use when we got up in the morning. Reported to reception as we left

4 night business trip and as Coalville only has 2 hotels choice was limited. But I can honestly say my stay was very pleasant. As 3 star hotels go it looked slightly dated but the bed was very comfy, fresh linen and towels every day. Room was a very good size and well stocked with beverages. It was very quiet at night outside and in. I didnt try the breakfast as I'm not a breakfasty person. Limited staff on duty but those there were very helpful and pleasant. Overall a nice stay and I would definitely use the Hermitage Park again.

The mattresses were very soft with no support for someone with back problems. The manager did try to find a room with better mattresses but we decided to just check out early. The breakfast was really good and lots of choices.

I wasn’t sure what to expect due to mixed reviews. However I had a ground floor room as requested. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and importantly for me the hairdryer was good. The bathroom had a bath with a shower. The overhead shower was powerfully enough and the water was hot. I wasn’t disturbed by noise, it was peaceful. My tv worked. Kettle was clean. The only downside was my room felt a bit cold. I didn’t ask about the heating, maybe if I had they’d have helped. Breakfast was amazing. No complaints.

The hotel rooms are tired looking could do with some tlc. I stayed for 2 weeks as it's the closest to where I was working. The rooms I stayed in had limited internet strength also the beds were not comfortable as mattress went down in the middle. Lovely staff, very helpful, rooms were clean.

The hotel is a bit dated, tired and not stylish. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. It suited us on this occasion. Bedside lamp in room 15 wasn’t working. Breakfast was nice.

Visited Coleville to attend a concert. Lovely clean hotel. Dodgy shower but all good

Have used the Hermitage Park Hotel for several years, and it's defnitely showing the wear and tear. Paid Breakfast is very lacklustre, Saturday I belive the chef was late in so food was delayed coming out, and by the time those ahead of me had picked up their food, I had to wait for refills to appear. Sunday was much the same, though the food was on time, there was not enough ready at once for all present. Monday I provided my own breakfast. Items advertised such as Fried Eggs and Hash Browns were missing both days. Rooms are very dated, no USB points or Aircon. Bathroom is very cramped together, I bashed my elbow on the glass shower guard when opening the b-room door. Also, said door locks from the outside, which is confusing and concerning. Wifi is patchy at best. Documentation in room & on website is currently out of date. Sunday dinner was offered in restaurant, but checking with reception this is only once a month and not the Sunday I was there. Staff are friendly enough, but on departure sole receptionist was taking a work call, and neglected to ask about my stay or any questions other than did I need a receipt. I've been using this hotel for convenience as it's within walking distance of venue for the event I was attending. Appreciate that it's 3*, but may have to look elsewhere as it's now feeling not too far off 2*.

Honestly the hotel was fabulous. The staff were tentative, polite and chatty. From the minute we arrived they couldn’t do any more for us. The rooms are a bit dated but were spotless. Our room was tended to and new towels provided without us having to ask. Big bed and was really comfy which was a big plus! We stayed for a friends wedding and the food was simply brilliant. I can’t say anything against our stay at all. It was fab from start to finish

Ok, for a one night stay, plenty dining options, supermarkets in walkable distance.

We were attending a birthday party in Ibstock Leicestershire, and the Hotel was very convenient to both Coalville and Ibstock. The receptionist on our arrival was very pleasant and welcoming along with the night porter and the young lady in the morning on Breakfast duty. We will stay there again. Good value for money.

Staff were really friendly, rooms were clean, with everything you need, and the breakfast was lovely. Short walk to towns, pubs and short, easy drive to download festival. Would stay again next year!

Although my room was looking a bit tired, it was clean, warm and very comfortable. Unfortunately there was no evening meal option due to the kitchen being closed in the evenings but we were informed of this upon check in. We were also told that if we fancied a delivery meal they could set up a table for us with plates and cutlery but we decided to take a short walk out to the town centre. The breakfast was tasty and hot with plenty of choices available. Would I book again? Yes, definitely.
