Good hotel for a stopover in Rugby. Very convenient location, just off motorway & about 15 minutes from town. Room &. Shower room / WC ok, though very hot and AC didn’t seem to cool it (centrally controlled for heating / cooling) - so had to keep window open, though this was limited. Apart from that very comfortable. Room service had great choice, came quickly and was good. Lots of free onsite parking and plenty of fast EV chargers.

and helpful and will do everything to serve you. The amenities i.e the pool, gym, etc are just a great extra, more than other gotels offer. They even have a children's area with toys and more. The breakfast is so good for value and a good selection to choose from.

Good location, easy to get to and good size car park. Rooms were ok, not massive but clean and fine for an over night stay. Used the pool however was full of children and swimming lessons so almost impossible to swim lengths and not be splashed several times, not a relaxing experience at all! Recommend a swim lane for adults only

Stayed two nights 3 in one room with a sofa bed. Sofa bed was not made up correctly, there was no mattress on it, didn’t realise until my daughter got up the next morning with a very sore back. Breakfast on day one was a shambles no clean tables and hardly any food left at 9:30, breakfast is served until 10:30 so you would expect there to be food left

The outside of the hotel and grounds was nothing special but inside it was clean and modern. The swimming pool was warm and changing rooms clean. Breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly. Very accommodating for dogs. Short walk into village.

We booked specifically for air conditioning in the rooms after looking at different hotels. To arrive and find out air-conditioning in rooms was not working and they had put a fan in circulating hot air. If this had not been the only reason we chose the hotel then I would have been happy.

It was quiet area, but the property feels run down in places. Our room was poorly maintained on the walls, paint was peeling and chipped. Air con didn’t work, the 3rd bed for the child was tiny, small and thin mattress. Double bed was small. Food options were good, but staff were clueless, disorganised and rude

Nice hotel. Easy parking. Friendly staff & free gym/ swimming pool on site. However, bed is very small. It doesn’t seem like a full double bed. Room was small, but that wasn't a problem. Nice bathroom.

We stayed for two nights, wish it had been no nights. From the moment we arrived the hotel appeared to be in chaos. Had to change rooms after the first night as the bed was so uncomfortable it was difficult to sleep. Decided to eat in the hotel, really wished we hadn’t. We waited over an hour for our food, had to chase it twice only to be told our meal had been given to another table! When our food did finally arrived after nearly 1.5 hours the pizza was so greasy we had to use napkins to mop up the oil sitting on top of it and the chips were cold. When we complained to the manager he appeared to find the whole situation funny. In addition to this the bar staff looked like they were on the brink of tears and the receptionist was close to a breakdown. This hotel is clearly understaffed. Would never stay here again!! We really should be given a full refund at the very least for such a traumatic experience. Such a shame as it could have been so much better.

Upon check-in I was not told to put my car registration in. I was not asked if I stayed at the hotel before and I have not. I was not told where my room was, where the lift was, where the restaurant was, breakfast times. I am registered disabled and had to drag my bags and ask a waiter where the lift was and how to get to my room. The receptionist was an older lady, who disappeared after asking me to sign my check-in form and issued my keys. A waiter Cal helped me carry my bags up several flights of stairs to Room 142. I explained i was registered disabled, so Cal left me inside the room to go to reception and asked for a room on lower floor closer to reception. He came back to tell me, there wasn't another room and if I was staying for 2 nights I could of been moved the following day. Later that night I asked for some ice from the bar and the young waitress was very unfriendly and told me they didn't have much ice at 9pm. The sink in the room was leaking so i looked underneath and tightened the loose bit, which i reported to reception on check out the following day. The room was lovely and comfortable. Lily was on reception and bar on day of checkout and she was amazing, friendly and helpful! Lily and Cal were helpful, polite, friendly and approachable. Both Cal and Lily provided excellent customer service. I thanked Cal on checkout as he was working also. The gentleman in the health club also provided excellent customer service.

The bar tender was simply rude! No manners whatsoever. I requested a change of glass, and he thought I was being petty. Not as if the drink was free! Happy to discuss his level of service with management. Will not be staying here again, simply because of the bar tender.

Check in was very slow. Receptionist said I hadn’t paid or booked the two rooms yet I had email and credit card confirmation. Eventually it was resolved but it seemed there were issues with lack of understanding of their check in system. No security when we arrived back at 12pm and the reception area was unmanned and we were able to work to our rooms unchallenged.

Good place for a short stay, especially if you have an electric car as there are plenty of charging stations and lots of free parking. Comfortable bed, decent shower, good heating via electric radiator & air con. Room service snack menu looked interesting, though we didn’t need it. Breakfast was ok, though not very hot.

After a very positive experience at another Holiday Inn, we were disappointed here - staff seem pre-occupied (Wrong drink served, told pie of day had meat - it didn't, wrong dessert (Breakfast staff and food very good by contrast), no info on hotel facilities at curt reception. Restaurant not opened - "eat in bar". NO GLUTEN FREE Desserts on offer. On other hand excellent pool, comfortable clean room
