The staff were helpful. However, the thought that having to knock on the room next door to ask the occupier to run their taps and shower to allow my room to have hot water being normalised, is simply not acceptable. Out with that process every time I needed hot water, the room felt dirty, was poorly finished.

The hotel is clearly in the midst of renovation but the general state of the place is not good. The carpark is in need of resurfacing, is full of 'rubbish' and there is huge amount of building materials just left outside the front of the property. I was greeted on check in but that was the only time I saw any staff during my stay! There was no option of food as the restaurant was clearly shut..fortunately I had picked food up on the way. The room I was in was in a reasonable state though in need of modernisation but outside my window there was just a massive pile of rubble / old building materials...it wasn't even in skips and I saw at least one rat hovering about the place. There was no fan or air conditioning and the room was fairly warm. I also couldn't open my window as the bush outside the window was a massively overgrown bush and when I did open it briefly I saw a number of wasps which I am sure would have come into the room had I tried to leave it open for ventilation. The bed was too soft for me but wasn't overly uncomfortable. The only redeeming feature was that the shower was pretty good. It may well be a nice place once all of the work is done but at the moment I couldn't recommend anyone staying there as it's just not a nice place to be.

Hardly fit for human habitation. Looks like they are about to have major refurbishments as building materials outside. Large areas of the interior walls are very stained with damp. Plaster is crumbling. Our room’s window frame was filthy and the glass almost frosted with grime. Room smelled of mould. My wife was bitten on the thigh during the night. No bar or restaurant. Bath was dirty and cracked.

I would avoid this hotel, it's cheap but under refurbishment, I had to go thru 4 rooms before I was given one that was actually fully functioning. Rooms smell, not clean, there is no daily house keeping Unless U request it. WiFi is rubbish, phone reception in the area is very poor Staff was brilliant but the hotel was in a very poor state......Avoid.
