We had a very nice stay at the Sun Inn and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful .The only issue was the parking due to the lack of long stay car park in Faversham! The breakfast was very good and plenty of choice with a nice hot plate that pleased my wife very much! We hope to return in the near future

Huge family room. Pull out bed was not very comfy and the room was very hot but there were 2 fans. Staff very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very high. In fact we ate at a Michelin starred restaurant last night in France and we all preferred our meal at the Sun. The surrounding high street and area is a bit run down and a bit shoddy but that’s nothing to do with the pub

The property is a piece of english history originally built in the 14th century, it oozes character and charm and is full of original timbers and features. Lovely and clean room, lovely staff, whats not to like. We will definitely be back.

Great location right in the centre of town. Really welcoming staff. Room was clean and comfortable but showing signs of wear and tear in the public areas and bathroom. Bev was comfortable and the breakfast top notch. Was a little noisy due the fire door in corridor slamming everytime anyone came through (it was not helped that we stayed on the morning when the beer delivery arrived and it is hard to deliver that quietly despite their best efforts). Otherwise a really good stay and excellent t value for money. Really cannot rate the staff highly enough

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy. Thankfully there was a large fan in the room, as the temperature was very hot re weather. Breakfast was ok I would have preferred a walk in show, as the bath was not easy to climb into as quite high.

The small rooms at the back of the property have toilet saniflows. The one in our room leaked and kept running at intervals through the night. This is noisy and needs to be fixed. I’m sure that hotel will do it because they are normally very good with everything. It needs a good plumber to look at it and understand what’s going on - it’s not the valve – it’s got another leak into the cistern that goes on filling it and triggering it.

This is a great place to stay in the heart of the historic centre. We had a superior room which was spacious and comfortable and full of charm. The restaurant was very good and the bar area also charming. The only slight negative was the wifi which was intermittent.

A fabulously historic property in the centre of lovely Faversham. Thank you to the whole team at The Sun Inn for making this such a memorable two night stay. Despite being early for check in the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, offering us a drink and taking our heavier luggage into safe storage. Our booking had been for a double room on the first evening and a twin on the second. Ideally we wanted a twin room for both nights and having explained this to the manager he promptly offered to swop us into the same twin room on both nights. This made life so much easier and was much appreciated. Overall the staff could not do enough to make our stay a pleasurable one, anticipating our needs and ensuring those needs were accommodated. The room was large and very clean, the breakfast excellent and the roasted lamb in the evening was delicious and of high quality. Faversham is a delight, simply gorgeous and well worth a visit. If you are visiting then you will not do better than to stay at The Sun Inn, they will look after you and ensure you a memorable visit.

Was a little noisy due the fire door in corridor slamming everytime anyone came through (it was not helped that we stayed on the morning when the beer delivery arrived and it is hard to deliver that quietly despite their best efforts). Otherwise a really good stay and excellent t value for money. Really cannot rate the staff highly enough

Great location, great service. Room needed a little TLC but only minor. Leaking tap, door hinge on cupboard hanging off. Room was very large but very warm. Fans provided which were perfect. Staff very friendly and food was excellent.

A warm welcome from Jemma and her team. Remarkably quiet rooms despite being above a family friendly pub and on the high street. The breakfast was one of, if not the, best I’ve been offered anywhere in a hotel in the UK or US in years. We loved staying here.

I like its history and the Staff are excellent. I disliked: a) Wasting so much milk. I only needed a small spoonful. b) Morning shower.......the water was tepid at the most despite the fact that I reported it and was assured it would be better next day. c) Noisy, especially on Friday night. I could feel the bedroom floor vibrating. d) I found the dinner menu very limited after the first evening.

We had a brilliant time at Sun Inn. The room was perfect, the food excellent and plentiful and the staff just couldn't have been better. Faversham is a brilliant village where everyone is friendly and where you'll be surrounded by wonderful old buildings.

I can't speak highly enough of my stay. Brendan was so helpful and immediately made me feel at home. Secure storage was provided for my cycle and I was able to access my room early. The room was spotless and so many thoughtful extra touches were provided. The following morning the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. I met more of the staff and again they were so friendly. I look forward to returning. Thanks

Lovely clean room. Bit of mould on tiles. Some times hard to get rid of. But every thing clean. Nice bedding. Firm bed. Nice towels. Lovely staff. Nice bar lady. And nice breakfast lady. Lovely choice of breakfast. Great place for going out. Lots eating drinking choices. One thing is car park don’t use the one behind them. Only 4 hours next road up Thomas road. Do longer. Then little alley way to pub the front of it. Have been before will go back again.
