Room was very tired and old fashioned, there was aircon which was helpful. The electric shower over the bath gave very poor flow and almost impossible to regulate the temperature. Very difficult to get out as no hand rail on the wall and we are over 70. The breakfast was amazing, good choice and beautifully cooked. The garden would have been a pleasure to sit in but poorly maintained, tree cuttings everywhere and old toilet by the back gate. There was parking but no clear notices where and again very messy area at the rear. Graham was friendly and I think tried really hard for his guests but I guess the property is an overwhelming task to maintain.

Clean comfortable room in an old country house full of quirky items Parking is a bit random in front or to side of property The hotel had a charm to it unlike chain hotels Excellent breakfast hand cooked to order Overall enjoyable stay near Glastonbury and also RSPB Ham
