Room was functional and clean. The bathroom was a little tired. There were biscuits with a good selection of teas and coffee. Ample parking. Breakfast was average. The staff were all very friendly. The room was a little overpriced for the standard.

Really friendly staff, great bedroom, comfy bed, tea/coffee/hot chocolate provided is top end. Great size car park and outside space. Good English breakfast,lots of extra tea if needed. Rooms all upstairs, so if you have mobility issues, it might not be good for you.

A great place to stay if you're attending a wedding at St Giles Place, lovely breakfast and bar. The staff were incredibly helpful. The room was a great size, with all the facilities you could ask for, a very comfortable stay.

All staff were very friendly and helpful and dogs were welcome everywhere Evening meal was lovely and breakfast was lovely too with lots of choice. Ear plugs were provided on the bedside tables, in retrospect we should have worn them as talking from people sat in the outside area was just beneath our window and was very loud (had the window open), this was followed by a car doing wheel spins on the road outside as its driver left. The road was very noisy, probably a lot more noticeable due to hot weather and having the window open. The room was clean and the walls well decorated, but the ceiling, interior of the “wardrobe” and shower room definitely required improvement along with the carpet in the corridor which 2 of us tripped on due to large ruckles. The staff definitely compensated for the decor and meant we still enjoyed our stay

The location was ideal for our travel plans and was a rural, quiet spot. The room was so inviting with dual aspect views and good lighting. There was plenty of parking and the staff were extremely polite and welcoming.

One night spent at the Norton Inn. staff were welcoming and helpful. Very dog friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast consisted of cereal and a choice of cooked , which was delicious.

I've stayed twice at this friendly pub, which offers good quality food, a buzzing bar area and simple, but comfortable rooms. The only issue I had was staying on the first floor, there was too much noise from the bar below, which lasted until late, and meant I couldn't get my family to sleep. This was not the case with the attic room that I also stayed in. Staff are friendly, the restaurant menus and quality of food is excellent.

Cheap and cheerful, friendly staff, good breakfast, clean and tidy, top end of what I’d expect at this price point. 100% would stay again!

Our stay was everything that was promised in the literature. Clean room and bathroom, well stocked tea tray, lovely hot water shower and bath. We did experience an issue with the toilet cistern not refilling but staff were on hand immediately it was reported and rectified the problem. Well done! Cooked to order breakfast with good quality tasty ingredients. Would stay here again and recommend to others. A quick touch up of paintwork on the bathroom skirting under the radiator would make it look make it look a whole lot better being the only negative comment.

Unfortunately a disappointing stay, especially for the price paid. Had all the facilities and staff to be super promising but let down on the details - food was hit and miss, some good dishes and some way below the mark. The towels in the bathroom were stained, and the shampoo bottle was totally empty. Although not a super busy road, the road was extremely noisy in the bedroom and weirdly the tv kept turning on itself during the night, so not the best nights sleep. Having said that the staff were lovely, super friendly and very helpful.

Customer service was good. Dirty room wasn't very clean, cups had tea stains from people drinking from them and kettle was so dirty didn't want to have tea. TV comes on automatically ofcourse to fix it you have to unplug it. It was quite dirty. No room service was told, ordered takeaway. Bed was clean and sheets clean towels clean. Because it's near the road it very loud but they gave ear plugs which was good. Bathroom wasn't clean. It was ok for the purpose. Food on menu was expensive though.

Booked for a one night stay. Sign outside clearly stated meals available every day. Registered, went to our room (which was next to a very busy road but earplugs were left for us on bedside cabinets) which was nice, clean and with a large bathroom. Went down to the bar to order some drinks and whilst waiting to be served were told no food was being served that evening nor, indeed, no food had been served all day as the chef was off sick. When we asked where we could get something to eat it was met with a “sorry folks”, you could drive back to Wimborne. Decided that this was totally not what we wanted so decided to check out and travelled to Ringwood and booked into a Hotel there. Now cannot get any refund.

Do not stay here!!! Last night I stayed at The Hornton Inn. After arriving for business and going to change in my room, I stayed in Room 5 it was freezing cold, I asked a staff member if this could be looked at. It had two radiators neither on, a tiny electric radiator by the bed. (A red flag!) I left to have my meeting, came back and the room was still the same. The bedding was verging on damp, the walls very cold, neither radiator on. I returned to the bar to ask what could be done, as nothing had changed, the staff member text the manager, I suggested calling as it would be quicker, the manager claimed the central heating had been turned on but none of the radiators in the hall way or my room were warm. It appeared at breakfast I wasn’t the only guest who complained about the cold. After looking in three rooms with a staff member I receive a second tiny electric radiator. I had both on next to my bed that night and slept fully clothed with three tops on. It was shockingly bad and could not wait to leave in the morning! I have stayed at other nearby places that were cheaper and far better! Whilst the breakfast was ok, it is beyond understanding in an age of reviews and how easy it is to receive a bad review and damaged reputation that staff, managers and owners would not resolve an issue and make sure guests are happy. I gave my view when leaving but only received a very weak apology. It appears The Horton Inn is run on a shoestring and saves money where it can.

Breakfast was very basic with choice of four variety pack cereals. Only orange juice , there was a cooked breakfast but had to ask for toast and offered jam or marmalade .Had also to give precise time for breakfast .
