We all loved the fact that it was very dog friendly. We got a lovely welcome for the dog. The paddock dog exercise area was fantastic, allowing our dog to stretch his legs.

This was a perfectly placed central point for easy access to Milton on Sea, Lymington and the surrounding areas. I was upgraded to a King sized room upon check in. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy. The room was warm, but a fan was provided, which was a nice touch. The view out onto the surrounding campsite and countryside was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. There was ample parking. The reception staff were very helpful. I will be looking at this property again for future stays. Excellent.

This hotel is lovely, has ample parking which is FREE and lovely rooms with everything you could need including a small fridge. The staff were lovely and the breakfasts were hot and plentiful. We will be returning and would definitely recommend.

Loved this hotel. So friendly. Attentive staff. Exceptionally dog friendly. Fabulous large modern room, well equipped. Ate dinner in hotel both evenings and food was lovely with great portions. Did not have breakfast. Lovely peaceful outdoor areas to sit and relax. Fenced dog paddock was great for exercising the dogs and socialising with other dog owners. The only area for improvement is to have some wire to cover the gap at the bottom of the paddock gate, as our little dog escaped underneath.

Lovely place to stay for the weekend, with our dog, Remi Very dog friendly; best I have stayed at with our dog which included a designated dog exercise paddock which was great and he was welcome in the lounge area, bar and restaurant. Room was spacious and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was delicious and being a coeliac, I was able to select from the menu and waiter checked if my choice was GF.

Lovely hotel, very relaxing; pleasant staff, beautiful room with many facilities, fridge and bottled water a real treat, we had an evening meal in the restaurant a Sunday roast and it was really excellent. The lounge there has wonderful comfortable chairs and is a real pleasure to sit in. This is a dog friendly hotel which we would not usually book into, but we want to say, the facilities for dogs are above excellent, with a paddock for them and separate part in the restaurant, so was no bother at all to pet less clients like us, no pet hairs at all , superb. We took time deciding whether to put a negative but in the interests of a true review felt we had to, but to make clear, The only reason that we took a star off facilities was the heat in the room, which meant our first 2 nights we hardly slept at all, whilst respecting the reasons for the owners decision not to put air con in the new rooms, and also realise that we had very hot weather during our stay, it was very uncomfortable to say the least, had the hotel itself not been as good as it was, we would have left after the first night. But that apart, it is a great hotel and one that we will definitely return to and recomend to our friends, (but just not in the summer.)

Amazing stay, top of wardrobe was thick with dust, was going to put my suitcase there out of the way but didn’t. Burger had zero flavour so didn’t eat it. Wasn’t asked why I didn’t eat it so ate out on the third night.

What a great weekend spent at this amazing hotel. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was huge, extremely clean and had a great view of the horses in the neighbouring field. The main selling point for us was that this hotel was dog friendly. Needless to say, we will be returning next year.

The staff was very nice. The bedroom was very comfortable as were the beds. The breakfast was very tasty and affordable. Parking was conveniently outside. It was nice seeing dogs in the hotel. But unfortunately I stepped on dog poo on the short walk from the hotel entrance to my car which was not pleasant at all. The brown pebbles made it hard to see. All in all I would come back if I was in the are but careful where you step.

A lovely hotel with excellent food and staff. The only reason I can't give it a straight 5 stars is that the lighting in the public areas, and in our room at least , was poor. Lots of bare LED lamps which produced a lot of glare but not much in the way of illumination and lots of shadows. It became quite hard on the eyes.

Room was spacious, very clean and very new. Only downfall with the rooms were lack of natural light as window was very small, and with a new build, was very surprised that it did not have air conditioning, although a very small fan is provided. Another plus was the room had a small fridge, and a good selection of teas and coffee. The dining areas were very large, and well laid out. The only thing that was a little off putting was that it was extremely quiet, with the music so low that you felt you had to whisper your conversation as everyone would of heard what you were saying! The service was exceptional from the staff, was very well organised and efficient. The food was incredible, breakfast and dinner, and was very well priced. Overall our stay was a good 9 out of 10, would def recommend this lovely hotel. It would be a 10 out of 10 if air conditioning was to be installed.

I’ll stay at South lawns could not have been any better, the staff are very attentive, the food in the evening was excellent, the breakfast was outstanding, this is a hotel I would recommend to anyone, and we look forward to our next stay.

Good size, clean, comfortable, well appointed rooms with plenty of free on site parking. Check in was fast and efficient. Sandra was first rate, friendly and welcoming. The common areas were clean and comfortable, the bar welcoming and the outdoor seating area large enough to not get crowded.

This was a perfectly placed central point for easy access to Milton on Sea, Lymington and the surrounding areas. I was upgraded to a King sized room upon check in. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy. The room was warm, but a fan was provided, which was a nice touch. The view out onto the surrounding campsite and countryside was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. There was ample parking. The reception staff were very helpful. I will be looking at this property again for future stays. Excellent.

Check in was quick and efficient and the room I was given was spacious with a well appointed bathroom. It was generally comfortable with the usual amenities. Generously sized restaurant and bar area and the food was very good. Overall a good hotel in a lovely location.

Amazing stay, top of wardrobe was thick with dust, was going to put my suitcase there out of the way but didn’t. Burger had zero flavour so didn’t eat it. Wasn’t asked why I didn’t eat it so ate out on the third night.

Room was spacious, very clean and very new. Only downfall with the rooms were lack of natural light as window was very small, and with a new build, was very surprised that it did not have air conditioning, although a very small fan is provided. Another plus was the room had a small fridge, and a good selection of teas and coffee. The dining areas were very large, and well laid out. The only thing that was a little off putting was that it was extremely quiet, with the music so low that you felt you had to whisper your conversation as everyone would of heard what you were saying! The service was exceptional from the staff, was very well organised and efficient. The food was incredible, breakfast and dinner, and was very well priced. Overall our stay was a good 9 out of 10, would def recommend this lovely hotel. It would be a 10 out of 10 if air conditioning was to be installed.

Lovely place to stay for the weekend, with our dog, Remi Very dog friendly; best I have stayed at with our dog which included a designated dog exercise paddock which was great and he was welcome in the lounge area, bar and restaurant. Room was spacious and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was delicious and being a coeliac, I was able to select from the menu and waiter checked if my choice was GF.

What a great weekend spent at this amazing hotel. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was huge, extremely clean and had a great view of the horses in the neighbouring field. The main selling point for us was that this hotel was dog friendly. Needless to say, we will be returning next year.
