Lovely hotel in a great location. Helpful reception and great breakfast with attentive staff The garden area was lovely and a peaceful place to sit on a Summers evening. The garden bar was a bonus with friendly staff to take orders. Perfect stopover before heading out to Highgrove

Lovely hotel which great characteristics. The garden with its own bar is great and lots of seating. Comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. The only thing I would say is the rooms facing the road can be noisy due to traffic and the old windows don’t shut out noise so worth taking earplugs. Fortunately I always travel with them so I could sleep..could be tricky otherwise
