Stayed for two nights, nice quiet room. Clean and plenty of tea, coffee,bathroom products. Staff vey helpful and breakfast was nice an hot.. Had dinner there both nights, both were tasty meals, service was a bit slow when busy. Jeff and his team were very friendly. There was nice seating area to have a drink later. Pool was adequate and not too many in there. Hotel on beach front so great for my grandson. Overall a lovely place to stay. We will be back.

Great location right on the beach. Food a little pricey but very good . Breakfast amazing with lots of choice. Not enough staff which was a shame as this let it down .great swimming pool probably the warmest i have ever used. Staff very friendly . Would stay again .

Really nice hotel, lots of parking available, nice quiet location on the beach. Room was of good standard. Swimming and spa facilities were excellent. Would stay again.

There was no lift service available it was out of order till we was there and no pool service its refurbishing but we got last email saying it is closed till 31 march but i got know when i reach hotel thats was disappointment for me but staff is really nice all of them are so lovely.

Ok stay overall. Average property - on par with what i would expect from a 3 star hotel. Certainly not worth 160£ a night though. Good if you can get a beach facing room. Checkin and checkout process was quick. Pool while was refurbished was quite dirty. I could see sand on the pool floor bottom. Guests came in and went out as they pleased with their shoes on. Hotel location to explore wales is again average. Need to assume an hours travel to reach anywhere decent.

Overall the room was ok. Beds were comfortable. Showers in the room was dirty and the sink and shelves. Carpets all were dirty except in bedrooms. The staff were lovely but the overall standard of the hotel isn’t up to a 4 star. The pool heater was heating pool so couldn’t use the indoor pool as far to cold. No hot tube it was cold. Pool area need alot of repair. Sauna not working. Paid a lot for not great overall stay.

We should have checked out the surrounding area before booking. The hotel is directly opposite the old Pontins resort which looks like something from a dystopian movie. The hotel was a bit dated but acceptable. No food available after 9pm either, we arrived at 9:15 so had to wait until the morning for breakfast. The corridors smell of stale food which is very off putting. Lovely position next to the beach but could do with an update.

The hotel room was airy and sufficient. However the bed was awful, the bedding and duvet were thin and cheap as was the pillows. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired and was informed 1 hr before we set off that the pool area and spa was going to be closed for the whole of our stay, leaving it to short notice to find anywhere else. They gave us a £20 refund, which I didn’t find enough. The breakfast wasn’t great either, bacon and sausage rubbery. The one good thing about the stay was the sea view from the room.

Lovely spa area...breakfast was quite bland and boring. Location great. Rooms were quite old-fashioned and our bathroom was quite rusty although the photos on Expedia showed a modern bathroom... staff were polite. Cleaning at room service wasn't great as we came back to dorty toilet and unwashed cups. We fedback at the reception and they welcomed our feedback. Food at the restaurant was Weathersproon quality but much more expensive. Restaurant staff were so lovely.

The hotel staff were friendly but cleanliness of the hotel was poor. The hotel smelt badly of cooking fat, and there were dirty plates, wine glasses, beer bottles and an empty bottle of wine outside our room for over 24hours. These were there when we arrived and were only cleaned away the following day. There was also two full bin liners in the corridor of our room that weren’t cleared way for over 24 hours too. The food in the restaurant was not very nice. No flavour but quite expensive. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly. Shame about the cleanliness

Perfect location at the beach, felt remote from the rest of the world, ideal for taking a short break. Our quadruple room (sea view to the side) was comfortable with all amenities and had two bathrooms. A door between the two bedrooms would have been better. The cooked breakfast had to be ordered, good variety of breakfast items available. The food served in the restaurant for dinner was also very good. Overall the staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The spa area was a bit of a let down. The changing rooms weren’t cleaned during the day (at least looked like that in the late afternoon), the pool water was quite cold (but that might be personal preference) and the sauna/steam room was out of order during our stay. Had booked a massage in advance with Naomi and thoroughly enjoyed this.

We were on 3rd floor, room was a little small, but the sea view was great. Could do with fan to circulate cool air, despite open window. Visited end of August when it was warm. Staff were very attentive.

We found the hotel very pleasant, staff friendly and helpful. Location to beachfront was excellent with easy access to the beachfront and promenade from the hotel. Curtains in room didn't hang correctly due to broken hooks and we personally found the room far too hot so had to keep window open. Unfortunately we had a very noisy family by us the second night who had kids running through corridors at gone 11 being loud.

Easy check in with excellent free parking. Clean and well kept. Obviously updating some areas that are very modern. One room had new shower. Our room had lovely sea views. Staff were helpful. Food was great and good value. Right next to the beach. Couldn’t have been better

Warm welcome, all the staff were really lovely and efficient ie reception, bar, breakfast. Bed was comfy, pillows were not. Bedroom was very clean, but the bathroom door didn’t shut, the night light stayed on and the curtains did not shut properly. Breakfast was tasty.

Good location with the beach on one side, but has a large Pontins site on the other side that closed down a couple of years ago. Obviously very quiet, but sad looking. Bathrooms were a little tired, but the rest of the hotel has benefitted from some good design choices (bright furniture and wallpapers). Food was good (breakfast and dinner). Pool is small, but ok if you don't want to swim for fitness.

One night stay got off to a bad start as the room was cold and we couldn’t get the radiator to work. The ladies on reception were not sympathetic or helpful. It turned out the heating was broken and they had to get an engineer out. We didn’t use the leisure centre as thought this would be cold too. Once the heating was fixed it improved. The bed was comfortable and the shower powerful . The food in the bistro and at breakfast was good

Breakfast was one of the worst experiences I have had at a hotel; staff made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome at the breakfast area. When asked if it was possible to have a croissant I was told I will have to ask if you can or not, but no one came back to confirm; I was ignored, so we left. Informed the reception and was told management would be told about what took place, but no feed back on that. Won’t be staying there again.

The rooms are warm & comfortable, and it is a lovely hotel inside, the only downside were a couple of the staff, they were abrupt & a bit rude, both checking in/out, and at breakfast, they may need some training on how to behave & speak to people!

This is a lovely hotel, the staff are all very helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely stunning, right on the beach and a lovely prom to walk/run along. Excellent food, great breakfast. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable beds and lovely decoration.

The most impressive part of this stay was the service. My wife is coeliac, not only were breakfasts offering a GF alternative, the evening chef even cooked, without being asked, a special veg dish to complement the meal. In particular, Sue's breakfast team are superb in their efficient way of dealing with a room full of breakfasters. The Evening waiters also impressed. Reception always welcoming and patient. It all went to making our stay comfortable. We will return.

The room was excellent and very clean and spacious. Bathroom was modern and good size. As I came by train, the location was beautiful but a 25 minute walk away and no bus service. There was a comfortable sitting area downstairs. It would have been nice to have facilities for coffee/tea etc. I enjoyed my stay but location was a bit isolated.

The food at hotel not much variety for vegetarians, no fridge in room was very difficult as we had a toddler so every time he wanted milk we had to go downstairs and then their was no where to heat the milk. They need to do more for children at this hotel

The hotel was nice close to the beach, the bed was comfortable and the room was a good size as I went for the bigger room Breakfast was good and the staff were fast to serve you. Where it went wrong was the AFTERNOON TEA, it was the worst one we have ever had for nearly £50 for 2, so we didn't touch our food and I complained and was told by the manager you have already paid so there is nothing I can do she was so rude about it as well
