Easy parking. Lovely staff. The room was really clean and comfortable. Check-in and out was very easy. Only thing we were unsure about is opening times for the restaurant were but other than that a really lovely stay and would come again.

Lots of parking, that was one of the good points. The lady I dealt with was pleasant enough. They don't open the kitchen on a Monday and they lock the pub up after the last booking arrived (about 7pm) and you are then left with no staff there. Dirty rooms, cobwebs and mould, wasp nest in the curtains. I bought a pint of beer witch I spat out on the floor because it was off and tested musty. The ballcock on the toilet is knackered (room 12) and I heard the sound of water trickling all night. The bed was clean though. I was tempted to book somewhere else but I'd been driving a long and had already paid to stay somewhere.

Nice little pub style accommodation, very quiet. Meals were good, no breakfast available but there was a nice little bakery around the corner and other options in the next town.

I stay weekly in different hotels and I can confidently say this is in my top 3 of the worst for cleanliness. Booked as a last minute due to location which was fine but the room itself was disappointing. No WiFi password given or any information leaflets in the room. The shower was held up by a cable tie… Which they couldn’t even trim down either. The water would change from scolding hot to freezing cold every 10 seconds. Hairs on the tiles. The hot tap for the sink would have to run for a good 5 minutes to have hot water. Stains to the floor around the toilet weren’t very appealing and the toilet itself was disgustingly dirty with urine still visible around the rim with tissue inside and whatever that is on the toilet lid when I lifted it up was revolting. On pulling the duvet back there were hairs and also black staining. It’s quite clear the bedding wasn’t even changed from the previous occupants. It really wasn’t a pleasant experience and for the price of £120 aswell. I can’t comment on the food as I was very reluctant to try this after seeing the room but I can’t comment mention there was sufficient parking. On check out this is unmanned and nobody around… Just drop your keys in the basket and slip outside the side door. I can see why!
