Great hotel in a perfect location. In pedestrian area, but parking garage close by is very convenient. Wonderful restaurant onsite.

A beautiful historical hotel in the heart of the old town. Everything was exceptional. My only complaint is that the thermostat is locked and 24C is uncomfortably warm for sleeping.

This 4-star hotel is centrally located near the Salzach River and Maria-Theresen Strasse - the main pedestrian walking street. It’s an historic corner building with guest rooms that have been renovated for modern comfort. The shower was one of the best! The downstairs restaurant and bar does a brisk business, which is due to the excellent regional cuisine and creative cocktails. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner and bottle of wine followed by a local dessert of vanilla Ice cream with pumpkin seed crush and oil. A bit odd sounding, but totally delicious!

Hotel is very near to the attractions. We were allowed early check in which was much appreciated as our flight arrived very early in the morning. If you are driving, you need to park at "Altstadtgarage", Innrain 4, and get your ticket paid at the hotel (24 hours for EUR 18.00) before you go to collect your car and drive out. It’s about 3mins walk from carpark to hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately well below expectations. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were cold and unwelcoming, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. The most frustrating issue was the air conditioning. The hotel controls the temperature, so we had no ability to adjust it from our room. On our first night—during a stretch of nearly 90-degree weather—the air conditioning in our room was broken. Despite repeated calls to the front desk, the staff offered little help. The only solution provided was for someone to manually turn the system on every 30 minutes throughout the night. This required us to keep calling the front desk repeatedly, even waking up the staff member at times because they had forgotten to switch it back on. It was incredibly disruptive and completely unacceptable for any level of hotel, let alone one that positions itself as accommodating to guests. While we understand that things can go wrong, the lack of urgency, empathy, and basic customer service shown by the staff made a bad situation even worse. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodations. Also, they claim to be a 4-star hotel, however, the only amenities in the room were soap and shampoo. No lotion or conditioner. No bellmen either . Moreover, breakfast was not included in the price and cost 24€/person. The hotel did credit us the first night due to the broken air and moved us to another room, but the situation was already fractured.

Jeg savnede kun et lille køleskab til at svale drikkelse i, men det vidste jeg før jeg kom. De ansatte var venlige, og kvaliteten af morgenbuffeten var i top - specielt i de uovertrufne omgivelser i restauranten. Når man trådte ud af hotellet var man allerede i den historiske bydel, omgivet af seværdigheder og i gåafstand til alt. Kan kun anbefales.

Central location, well appointed bright rooms in an historic hotel, terrific breakfast buffet. However, we were given a voucher for a free welcome drink at the hotel bar when we signed a card saying that we didn't require daily room cleaning service. But we had to pay full price for a glass of wine because we selected a more expensive wine off the menu, not their 'house' wine. We weren't aware of any restrictions, nothing was written on the voucher and we had placed them on the table when we ordered our wine. We felt the error was theirs which they more or less acknowledged but they wouldn't offer us a credit or even a discount at check out. It was a small thing but we thought it was the least they could do. We had two rooms and stayed for three days.

Nice, welcoming hotel in the old city. Lots of character yet modern amenities. Great food at the restaurant. Be aware if you go by car: you cannot get your car to the hotel. Must park some 250m away and carry your luggage.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a view of the mountains. Staff were very courteous and helpful.

Very nice location in the city center in an historical building. Staff is friendly and helpful. However, the shower was not cleaned with hairballs stuck to the shampoo dispenser and hair on the sheets. We were tired and only stayed for one night so did not bother making a fuzz.

I am very happy with my stay as the room is very clean and comfortable. Overall it’s very well maintained and it’s walking distance to all the attractions in the city by foot.

Arrived by train to Innsbruck. Hotel is 3-4 stops by bus and then about a block walk. Very easy. Location couldn’t be better, right in the historic center. Walkable to all the river, main shopping street, restaurants, activities. Staff was helpful, polite and welcoming. The building was built in the 1300s and beautifully restored. Room and bath very comfortable and super clean.

This hotel definitely has its quirks. The shag carpet is something that we read about in other reviews & is one of the things that made the hotel not feel as clean. Besides that the hotel has a lot of character & is a really convenient location for exploring we city. We walked every where we wanted & needed to! The off site parking was a little confusing to find at first but once we did it was only a 5 min walk to the hotel. The staff was very kind & helpful with restaurant recommendations.

So I would like to give this room a better than three stars because of the location but I just can't. The pillows at this hotel are awful!! Also the noise from outside from the nearby bars on a Friday night are so bad I had to use my noise cancelling headphones to sleep. Also if you are short you won't be able to open the windows. It gets really really stuffy in that room even on a cold night. There must be other hotels nearby that are better. Also the pictures on here of the room make it look more lux than it is.

It was very pleasant and I appreciated the quiet although the hotel is in a busy stree. It is well insulated so that the noise from outside does not come through.

The hotel was in a great location being right in the center of the Old Town. Our room was small but well equipped and laid out. The only knock on the room would be the carpet as it seen better days, but I'm still giving the hotel 5 stars because it was a very nice place to stay being close to everything, and the staff were great.

Amazing place. Very kind people. We arrived a couple of hours before normal check in, after long trip from Denmark, but there were no problem for us to check in a bit early. Perfect location, and a perfect restaurant.

This property is in an ideal location next to the Golden Roof, shopping and dining, as well as the waterfront!

The location is incredible . Everything is walkable . The room was very comfortable and quiet . The staff very welcoming . I had booked 3 nights and the hotel provided me a 3 day card good for buses, trams and local trains as well as discounts off of attractions . They also have their own restaurant.

The property is in the heart of Old Town and close to the Inn River. It is in an awesome location for touring Innsbruck

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Goldener Adler in Innsbruck with my wife, and I can confidently give it a five-star rating. The location is simply perfect, situated close to the river and right by the Golden Roof building, the city's most famous symbol. This historic roof. The hotel building itself shares this rich history, being no younger than the Golden Roof, but has been wonderfully renovated and maintained. We found the hotel to be incredibly convenient, just a five-minute walk to the Nordpark Railway Station's telecabin, designed by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid. This made exploring Innsbruck and its surroundings extremely easy. My wife and I stayed in a high-end suite for two nights, and it was an absolute delight. The suite offered beautiful views, a large bathroom, and a nice entry lobby leading to the spacious bathroom. The amenities and attention to detail truly enhanced our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Goldener Adler and will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Innsbruck. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the charm and history of this beautiful city.

Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, tolle location. Frühstück Buffet war gut aber könnte nich verbessert werden. Gute marmalade fehlt, warmed porridge/bircher Müsli wäre schön. Fischer O-Saft war toll !

Perfect location for the old city and the Christmas markets. The breakfast is not worth 24 euros tho. If you’re a picky diner like me the hotel restaurant may disappoint. Baby deer? Come on. They prepared a chicken breast for me as the rest of the menu was game oriented which was very kind. Also did not like the stuffed animals and mounted animal heads here and there. Would not stay again but others may not be bothered by all that.
