Beautiful old yet modern hotel right in the pedestrian area of Innsbruck. Check in was easy, even a welcome drink (beer) was offered! Room was very modern with a balcony. Modern fixtures, bed was superb. Easy walking to shops and restaurants. As with many European hotels, had to a walk a few blocks to parking.

Ein wenig ungewöhnlich ist das mam die Rezeption im 6. Stock antrifft, jedoch mach es aus der Sicht des Konzeptes absolut Sinn. Mann fühlt vom ersten Moment an wohl und wird sehr freundlichen und professionell bedient. Das Frühstück ist trotz des nicht ganz günstogen Preises, absolut empfehlenswert (sehr lecker, vielfältig, all inkl., reichhaltige Auswahl und geschmacklich sehr gut). Besonders erwähnenswert ist, das hier auf lokale Partner zurück gegriffen wird, was sich in einem hochwertigem Geschmackserlebnis wieder spiegelt. Ein kleines Manko ist, das es nur einen Aufzug gibt, was bei An- und Abreise, sowie Abends durch externen Bar besuchern, zu einem höheren Zeitaufwand führt. Wir können das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder vorbei.

An excellent hotel, right in the heart of the old town, with one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The room was a little small but comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The service was excellent throughout, with very helpful staff. The bar / breakfast area has beautiful views and is stylishly furnished. The breakfast itself was the highlight of this hotel - it was a feast of interesting and delicious dishes every day. It also represented excellent value for money - fill up on the breakfast! From 7pm, the cocktail bar on the top floor is an excellent place for a drink. The location is perfect for exploring the city centre and its attractions, with plenty of public transport links on the doorstep too. Parking was €20 a day at the Alstadtgarage, a less than 5 minute walk to the hotel.

Prepare to carry your own luggage for 400 meters. This is mentioned in the small print and both the hotel and hotels.com were patently unhelpful when I complained about it. “It’s a beautiful walk from the parking”. Yeah? Why don’t you come and pick up our luggage then? Otherwise the hotel was as advertised. My 4 star review is a testament to a strong back, not to the hotel’s helpfulness

The building has so much character being from 1465, yet the rooms are modern and top notch, with smart A/C that turns off when the windows are opened. It is a small business and the owners work themselves at the reception and the bar. Yes, bar and reception are both the same and they are on the 6th floor of the building! I rented one of their smallest room without breakfast for only a couple of nights, and the staff made me feel like I was their only guest. Incredible hospitality. I will recommend this place in one breath with Innsbruck.

We really liked this property and would stay again. The only downside is that the shower and sink are in the bedroom. No privacy. There is also no parking. But the place was really nice. Nice bar and breakfast, staff is super nice and helpful!

Excelente, localizado dentro do centro histórico e próximo da estação de trem (cerca 15min a pé). Não tem estacionamento (porque está bem dentro do centro histórico, com horário restrito de circulação de veículos), mas o hotel tem uma parceria com um estacionamento bem próximo. Os funcionários são extremamente cordiais. O café da manhã é incrível, com variedade.

We stayed at hotel weisses kreus for 5 nights. It was a very pleasant accommodation experience. In addition to the rich breakfast, the owner was friendly and the staff was great. Another thing worth mentioning is that the cleanliness of the bedding, cups and plates was rare in my 30 years of travel. It is an excellent hotel and worth recommending. If I return to Innsbruck, weisses kreus is definitely the only choice.

Sehr coole und moderne Unterkunft und super zentral gelegen. Es ist nicht unbedingt ein klassisches Hotel. Wir hatten ein 'besseres' Zimmer gebucht, was sehr groß war. Auch das Badezimmer war groß. Leider hatten wir einen Duschvorhang, der anscheinend nicht immer Chance hat zu trocknen und dementsprechend etwas roch. Auch Trockenmöglichkeiten für Handtücher waren für mehr als ein Handtuch recht schwer. Das Sofa, was im Zimmer stand, sowie der Teppich hatten leichte, unschöne Flecken. Sauber war aber trotzdem alles. Insgesamt ist das Zimmer auch sehr Dunkel, auch das Licht, insgesamt eher dunkler gehalten. Alles in allem, eine gute Unterkunft, Preis aber vielleicht ein Ticken zu teuer.

First and foremost I want to talk about the staff of this hotel… they are super friendly, professional and sincere. This also includes the bar upstairs… great barman and waiters in the evening. Hotel it self is located in a central area with easy walking access to restaurants coffee sightseeing and hiking. Place is super clean, and the rooms are interesting but it’s in a historic building so you have to take it for what it is. I would recommend booking a place with balcony for some outdoor space. We stayed 2 nights and noticed the first night the air conditioner didn’t work. We opened the windows but it was loud outside due to the proximity to the bars. Bed was not comfortable, mattress felt like foam and not the good memory foam style. The shower looked to have mold in the tile grout. The pictures that the property share do not represent it accurately. Truly I feel like we got one of the more run down rooms. It felt like it was in need of renovations With it being low season (October) I was not expecting to be put in the room we ended up in.

Just returned from a fantastic 2 night stay at this superb stylish hotel in an excellent location in the old town, right by the golden roof. We stayed in the rooms with a balcony, which were situated at the back, felt very peaceful with stunning views of the mountains. The rooms were very clean and well thought through, with comfortable beds. Really enjoyed the variety and high quality breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

Lovely room with nice furnishings. Air conditioning did not function well. It was unseasonable warm and air conditioning in old building could not keep up. Breakfast offering and bar area were first rate. Nitpicky but for the price the towels were poor quality and not consistent with quality of rooms.

Great location. Hovever, our room had only a high window with hotel staff area overlooking us. Their light was always on with blinds open so we had to keep our blinds closed. Felt like a cell. Room was too hot, no matter what we tried. Unique to this room surely. Other rooms are surely just fine.

The quality of the mattress and pillows are very poor. The mattress had a massive imprint off the previous thousands of people it was terrible to sleep in and we needed to leave a night early.

Room was nice but the area is incredibly noisy with loud people outside until the middle of the night. The windows keep the sound out but if you have the windows closed it's hot and stuffy because the air conditioner barely does anything. The choices are either being hot and stuffy or having people yelling outside of the hotel all night. Other than that it was fine.

This is a lovely hotel in the middle of the old town area. The room was large and nicely refurbished, and there is a nice bar in the reception area. There was a bit of yelling outside throughout the night but you expect that staying in a busy area. I have removed a star because there was no one available when we checked out. When we went to reception at 10am there were only bar staff around, who said they could not process our checkout. We were told someone would come soon, however half an hour later there was still no one around. By this point there were 4 other groups also waiting. We ended up just leaving our room key behind as we would have missed our flight if we stayed any longer. I can only assume the only reception staff member called in sick, as 10am would be the peak time for people checking out.

I had a great time at Weisses Kreuz. The staff was wonderful, friendly and efficient. They provide excellent recommendations for restaurants (loved Piano Bar) and were helpful with directions. The only problem, if you have car you should call ahead to get directions to the garage. Cars are not allowed in the old city center.

Lovely hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff I have honestly ever encountered. Location is ideal; it's also very accessible to public transit. Breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Lovely decor. Highly recommend.

I stay in 15-20 hotels per year. I never have time to complete a survey, however, I haven't been so happy staying in a hotel as I was at Altstadhotel Weisses Kreuz. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautiful - perfectly decorated. Everything was tastefully done.

We had such a lovely stay at the Altstadthotel Weisses Kreuz hotel. The reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The views of the mountains from the hotel were truly magnificent, we couldn’t get enough of them and even decided to stay an extra night just to enjoy it all a little longer. Highly recommend!

It’s a cute hotel. Great location. Unfortunately upon entering hotel there were two housekeepers swearing in Russian. While I live in Canada, I understand Russian very well. It’s really not a nice vibe. I haven’t encountered such behaviour in Canada, UK or Russia. So it’s person specific not culture specific. The housekeeping employees need better training. Breakfast seemed overwhelmed. They didn’t have bowls for yogurt, then they didn’t have plates. In the evening bar looked cute but the cocktail we ordered was poured from a 1.5L plastic water bottle that was being reused. I understand they pre-made it, but the presentation needs to be better. Hotel rooms do not have an option of setting desired temperature. They set it at the reception and in the room I was only allowed to adjust 1.5 degree up or down. It was so hot in the room and I had no option of lowering the heat pulling. Wasteful of energy and very difficult for a customer.

Very cool hotel in perfect location. Hotel immediately notified me that we had accidentally left behind an iPad. They were incredibly helpful in arranging its return. Exceptional service like that truly sets this hotel apart. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay. It was walkable from the train station and was right in the old town center. Perfect for seeing all the sights, shopping, eating and even walkable to the gondolas up to the top of Innsbruck. Breakfast was amazing. The staff was all so nice and helpful. They even had storage for our luggage. Would definitely stay again!

Just returned from a fantastic 2 night stay at this superb stylish hotel in an excellent location in the old town, right by the golden roof. We stayed in the rooms with a balcony, which were situated at the back, felt very peaceful with stunning views of the mountains. The rooms were very clean and well thought through, with comfortable beds. Really enjoyed the variety and high quality breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, serviced daily. Bed very comfortable. Hotel is in the old town which is picturesque, with lots of restaurants close by. No restaurant for evening meals but choice for breakfast excellent and staff very helpful and obliging

Wonderful breakfast selection and staff. Very attentive and kind. This is our second return to this hotel and we love it. The view is absolutely beautiful and the shopping is awesome. Many good restaurants, and places to visit.

The hotel is very centrally situated in the old town. It can be tricky to find as the hotel sign is beneath a terrace of shops - it’s very close to McDonald’s! The reception is actually on 6th floor - staff are friendly. We had a fantastic room - Mozart suite. Rooms are reasonably priced - we went in July. The only issue is the AC - it doesn’t do much and Innsbruck is hot in the summer!
