Their service is terrible. I was a solo traveller and wanted to keep my Luggage in the hotel before and after my check in and check out respectively. The hotel refused to keep my luggage saying that there will be absolutely no staff in the hotel to collect / give the luggage back. It becomes very inconvenient for me to manage my luggage while traveling outside. Otherwise, the hotel provided basic facilities and the location was convenient.

Located was perfect, 6 minutes walk from the train station, you could see it from the breakfast room window. Also easy walking distance to the old town. The welcome card was useful as it gave you free local transport, we used it to go up into the forest. The room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a strange plastic room, but everything worked great, and it was a nice powerful shower. Staff were very helpful and friendly. You could also leave your luggage in storage if you was early, which we did. Be aware its not a 24 hour reception, we didn't find this a problem though. Breakfast was delicious and we found there was plenty to eat and drink. Highly recommend.

Well, I have stayed there for 2 night and this is what I can say. Great location. Its is next to all tourists places, the train station is just 10 minutes away. Unfortunately, this is all I can say positive. The main concern is that the reception is opened only from 7 to 11am and from 3 to 7 pm. it means though that NOBODY WILL BE ON SITE all other time, and DOOR WILL BE LOCKED! Was your flight delayed? Was your train cancelled? you will be sleeping on a bench in a park. Also, this hotel has no AC. And no fan in room. It wasn't a problem in early October but it will be too hot in the room during summer. You will be given a room KEY! In 21st century! Real heavy metal key with a huge flat plastic sheet. You are welcome to fit in in a pocket... You will be able to listen and actively participate in your neighbors's life :) - wall are thin, you will be able to hear everything. The building is very old, rooms were not renovated for a while. Plastic sink and plastic shower are small and not that clean. Overall, this is good hostel rather than hotel.

A localização é ótima, os funcionários são prestativos e a acomodação é bem clara ao informar que não possui estacionamento mas que tem um estacionamento pago (€15 a cada 24h) muito perto. Tão perto que da janela do nosso quarto era possível ver nosso carro. De negativo apenas o banheiro que parece um grande banheiro de avião (todo feito de fibra, do chão ao teto). A superfície em si estava bem limpa, mas parecia que abaixo da fibra estava mofado, o que gerava um cheiro bem desagradável, então era necessário manter a porta do banheiro sempre fechada para que o odor não invadisse o quarto. Pelo menos o cheiro realmente ficava isolado no banheiro quando fazíamos isso. O café da manhã é maravilhoso e todo hóspede tem direito, sem exceções.

Great budget location to stay in Innsbruck. 5 min walk from the railway station and close to the main shopping street. The hotel gives you a bus/tram pass valid for the duration of your stay and also valid for buses up to local skiing areas. Definitely recommend. (My third stay there in a year)

Basic old-world accommodation. I do not need air conditioning but need a fan to handle the heat of the day. My room had a full bath but since there was a common toilet and shower down the hall, I assume that not every room had one.

Room was very clean and hotel was very quiet. Location was great. Next to historic district and short walk from train station. Free Innsbruck card was very helpful for using local transportation just outside. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of cozy atmosphere.

Alles wie erwartet. Allerdings ist die Rezeption zwischen 11 und 15 Uhr nicht besetzt. Somit hatte ich am Abreisetag keine Möglichkeit mein Gepäck nach dem Auschecken dort zu deponieren.

Väldigt varmt i rummet, ingen fläkt fanns. Det var nästan helt stopp i duschen när vi kom så vi kunde inte duscha. En rörmokare ordnade det dagen därpå. Undrar hur städ inte har upptäckt det när de städar duschen. Gammalt och slitet rum och badrum. Rummet påminde mer om ett vandrarhem än ett hotell, därför kändes det dyrt med tanke på hotellets standard.

Do not stay at this property there was bed bugs and eggs on the sheet. Hotel manager has not even sent a sorry message or offered a refund. We have taken photos of the bed. We did not stay at the property and we booked in to another hotel which cost another £135 per night

An absolute nightmare in freezing weather. I came back to Hotel Goldene Krone around 22:30 and found the front door lock completely broken — my key didn’t work, and no one answered calls or emails. Their voicemail only said to “send an email” while I was left standing outside in near-freezing temperatures. The Austrian police came, confirmed the lock was broken, and told me to find another place to stay for safety. I ended up paying €162 out of pocket for an emergency hotel just to have a roof over my head. When I returned the next day, the hotel admitted the lock was broken and had the entrance propped open. On top of that, the shower in my room had black mold — completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 3 stars. This wasn’t a small inconvenience — it was a complete failure of safety, hygiene, and basic professionalism. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

This was a good price, which is what I was looking for when booking. It could have been cleaner (there was debris on the carpet), but the staff were very nice and the breakfast was nice to have included. I needed the windows open for air flow since it was stuffy inside, so the street noise was a problem for me when sleeping. Be aware of that, but the price is right if you are trying to stay on a budget!

Location is excellent - very close to train station. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Free breakfast was a plus. The room was very small. The hotel is dated. There is a small lift but we still had to go up a short flight of stairs to get to our room. It was fine for a shot stay.

Location would have been great if only they would not have emailed us only 10 min before they closed to propose leaving a key while we were train hopping to get there. then no way to get access to our room or even to open the front door at 22:00, so we were alone with a young child in the dark waiting on the street in a foreign town. we ended up to rent another hotel 20min walk away in dark poorly lit streets. just because they could not have been bothered to let us know in advance the check in procedures. 10 min before closure is NOT what i expect from a professional hotel.

Located was perfect, 6 minutes walk from the train station, you could see it from the breakfast room window. Also easy walking distance to the old town. The welcome card was useful as it gave you free local transport, we used it to go up into the forest. The room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a strange plastic room, but everything worked great, and it was a nice powerful shower. Staff were very helpful and friendly. You could also leave your luggage in storage if you was early, which we did. Be aware its not a 24 hour reception, we didn't find this a problem though. Breakfast was delicious and we found there was plenty to eat and drink. Highly recommend.

Location is excellent - very close to train station. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Free breakfast was a plus. The room was very small. The hotel is dated. There is a small lift but we still had to go up a short flight of stairs to get to our room. It was fine for a shot stay.

Very outdated property. Lots of maintenance and painting needed throughout. Bathroom was wonky- shower doors were in need of updating, zero amenities- no lotion, no hot water, no Coffee. Breakfast was super limited- hard boiled eggs, rolls, coffee machine, cheeses and cold cuts. The only positive was that it was included in room price. Location close to restaurants, shopping and train station.

Room was very clean and hotel was very quiet. Location was great. Next to historic district and short walk from train station. Free Innsbruck card was very helpful for using local transportation just outside. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of cozy atmosphere.

This place is definitely not a 3 star hotel. Its more like a budget motel. So nothing matches up with the price. Hotel is super old and dated. Everything is dark. Beds were lumpy and old. Shower drain was super slow and overflowed. No hair dryer in room. Walls were paper thin. Window glass rattled each time a bus drove by. Breakfast was cold and lacklustre. Suggestion: choose a hotel slightly farther ftom train station. Innsbruck has an excellent bus system. Buses run every 10 mins or less on most routes.

This is the level , right after Youth hostel , notting but the necessary. Driven by , what looks like teen agers ! Incredible hot room ( at least in summer ) with continuous noise from the street. One good thing though , it is placed in the city center. Be aware that the DONT store your luggage ( since the reception is more closed than open ) use the stores at the bahnhof ( train station) instead of!
