Right in the centre of bustling Tetbury - easy walk to everything. Great cocktails nice big room comfy bed - a bit hot but we brought our own fan so all was fine. Very dog friendly & wonderful breakfast 10/10

The room looked lovely but it was very dusty & inside the bathroom cabinet was also dirty. Some staff were lovely others not so good. No one was on reception when we arrived so had to get bar stuff to sign us in. Food was nothing special.

The welcome to the hotel was very good; and we had a splendid room with a very large and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, except that these days there should be more options than sliced bread. We ate in the hotel on 2 of our 3 nights there. The food was good and well presented. A strange event was that our bedroom was., on one night, simply not serviced at all. The manager was very apologetic and made a substantial allowance on the bill; apparently each of 2 members of staff thought that the other had done the room. That sort of thing happens. Overall we were content with our stay.

We loved the central location of the hotel within Tetbury and were able to get to where we wanted to go by walking from the hotel. The hotel room was very small, but we managed admirably. My husband was unwell one day and the hotel staff were wonderful, bringing us lemon and honey tea and iced-water, which helped enormously. It would have been good though to have a vegetarian afternoon tea available without pre-booking. The cakes had gelatine in them (why?!), so we declined to order, as we didn't have the days available to wait before we left.

12 hour flying visit to Tetbury: the name Snooty Fox caught my attention and sense of humour. It did not disappoint and was good value for money. The room itself was a little tired but the bed good, and the staff were friendly. I would happily return. Many thanks.

Stayed for one night for a family party in Tetbury. The room was spacious with a day lounge area and stairs up to the bed. The bed was not very comfortable and the cold tap on the bathroom sink did not work at all. We had a shower over the bath but there were no grab handles installed. Being older my hubby had to call me to help him out after his shower and the bath was quite slippery. Seemingly you can ask for a rubber mat at reception, but at 7am not something I would want to do.

Wasn't told work going on. Scaffolding up and workmen outside bedroom window at 8.30. Steps up to bedroom and near bathroom so felt these were unsafe to get out of bed to use the bathroom in the night. Need to be further away from the bed or even gated. Rooms need an upgrade, fresh paint, new carpets.

Lovely big rooms, comfy bed, enjoyed my stay. We booked two rooms and the equipment wasn't the same in each, our room had no overhead shower, there was a shower but it wasn't easy to use. the other room had an air-con unit, trouser press and a shower, so if these things matter to you check which room you have. I enjoyed my stay and slept well, the bed was huge and I was very comfy.

The room was fine, the service not so good. On arriving we found our TV remote was missing. Our room apparently had just had a new TV. We had to ask 4 times over a 5 hour period before it was dealt with. The 2 nd time of asking was with the manger who said it would be dealt within a few minutes. The same manager overheard the 4th request and stated they were going as fast as they could, no apology. He had obviously forgotten the 2nd request several hours earlier. This is plain poor service combined with a poor management attitude has meant we would probably not use the hotel again.

The room was nice, clean, comfortable. However, it is way overpriced and it didn’t even include breakfast which was awful. Believing it was included we didn’t complain which was our mistake. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you could get a discounted room price.

Right in the centre of bustling Tetbury - easy walk to everything. Great cocktails nice big room comfy bed - a bit hot but we brought our own fan so all was fine. Very dog friendly & wonderful breakfast 10/10

Ideal location for our purpose, room very clean albeit a bit on small side. Staff very helpful and breakfast options and quality was fantastic! Great place to stay

The Sooty Fox is a charming period Inn that has been tastefully updated. the rooms are well equipped, very comfortable and very clean. The lounge and dining areas are comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to The Snooty Fox.

Room had paper peeling off walls. See where there has been water coming in. Big room though. Staff friendly.
