wow worse hotel I've stayed in a while. Awful dated rooms with dirty carpets and all walls marked with scuffs and stains. Beds are not changed daily, rooms are not cleaned daily, no fridge in the rooms, water filter machine at the end of the hall way broken so have to go down to another floor to get water. Television comes on during the night on it's own. So have to move the cabinet out to switch the main plug off. This was switched off when I arrived so they know about this fault and haven't sorted it. Ordered room service which was awful and burnt didn't realise you could burn scotch eggs, also chicken tikka masala had chard black chicken pieces. Hotel so dated and dirty will not be staying again although the golf course looked nice. Feel bad leaving a bad review but I travel a lot and had high expectations for this hotel as I planned on booking a weekend with my wife here but no chance after this experience.

The staff were very friendly. The thing that disappointed us was the breakfast as we paid £18 each for a very mediocre breakfast certainly not worth the money. The cooked breakfast was in canisters and barely warm and very little choice of fresh fruit cheese and cold meats the tea you had to make yourself the coffee also make yourself and having stayed in many hotels over the years. This was probably the worst breakfast we’ve ever experienced.

Decent facilities but it's starting to look really tired in places, particularly bathrooms

The room was suitable and golf surroundings very pretty. However we had a broken toilet seat. I did find the food expensive for the quality that was served. Breakfast was also average, and seemed disorganised.
