This hotel was a real disappointment from start to finish. The property is looking very tired and in desperate need of updating. Many areas felt worn and neglected. The staff were noticeably unfriendly and gave little impression that they cared about guests' experience. A warm welcome costs nothing, but unfortunately it was completely absent here. The biggest issue was the spa. The pictures on the website are misleading and create an expectation that simply isn't met in reality. The facilities were underwhelming and nowhere near as appealing as advertised. I would not return and would recommend that others manage their expectations before booking.

Room was clean and comfortable. Negative points- no air con (but a fan was provided) & it was quite noisy - banging doors and shouting til early hours (not hotels fault though!) Food was exceptional, as was the service. The buffet breakfast food was some of the best I’ve had- good quality & not stone cold like you usually get! All the staff were really friendly and efficient. As we got the booking for a really good price I am even happier.

Whittlebury Hall is an excellent choice for a few nights of relaxation. We particularly enjoyed the indoor pool and steam room etc - very well maintained, clean and relaxing. More attention to detail required for bedroom cleaning. Menu excellent and plenty of choice. Staff in the lounge bar were excellent - very welcoming
