Stayed 1 night

I called the front desk to request that my bags be brought up to my room. The front desk agent responded, “We don’t have any bags down here.” I’m not sure how he could have known that without even asking for the baggage claim number that the bellman had given me two days earlier. I told him that this was a very strange response and waited for him to say something further, but he didn’t. I then asked if I could speak with someone else, and he responded that everyone was busy. I gave him my baggage claim number and asked him to please check with one of his colleagues. He responded, “If I have time, then I’ll bring it up.” I found this response particularly inappropriate. What do you mean, “if you have time”? Assisting guests with their luggage is part of the service I would expect from a hotel. I ultimately came downstairs myself and asked a different agent for help. I said, “Can you please explain to the other agent where the bags are stored and how the baggage process works?” The original agent overheard the conversation and then began telling me that I needed to address him as “sir” and that I was not speaking to him appropriately. Rather than simply helping locate my bags, the interaction became unnecessarily confrontational. In the end, I took the bags up to my room myself. I was very disappointed by the entire interaction, particularly the dismissive attitude and lack of basic customer service from the front desk agent.

Late night room service is terrible. Cesar Chicken Salad tastes like it was made a week ago. Can't go out the revolving doors by the hotel to smoke in the morning. Asked me to go down a side alley instead.
