Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber mittelmäßig. Kaffeemaschine defekt, kein Ersatz... Das Abendessen war nicht besonders toll. Es gab nur ein einziges Hauptgericht: "totgekochte Fleischklopse in brauner 08/15- Soße". Leider gab es keine Möglichkeit für Vegetarier, ertwas anderes zu finden. Die Salate waren ok, sodaß wir beide satt wurden. Sowas geht heutzutage aber eigentlich gar nicht mehr! Den Parkplatz muss man zusätzlich online vorher buchen - es gibt auch nur sehr wenige Plätze vor dem Hotel. Der Service im Hotel war ordentlich!

Für den Preis ein gutes Hotel. Frühstück gut und Abendessen ausreichend. Für ein leichtes Abendessen sogar sehr gut. Bett und Bad sauber und bequem. Highlight ist die Sauna und der Jacuzzi auf dem Dach. Jacuzzi 1/2 Std. ca.5€ pro Person. Da kann man nichts sagen. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

As usual a great place to stay in Tromsø. With a magic Jacuzzi on the rooftop. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Always get the help and support I need when I stay there. And the free dinner is also a great extra treat.

Sehr schöne Lage, Tromsö kann gut zu Fuß von hier erkundet werden. Zimmer gut ausgestattet, ordentliches Frühstück, Kaffee und Kuchen am Nachmittag sowie Abendessen (kleine Auswahl, aber völlig in Ordnung) inkludiert. The included breakfast and dinner buffet, as well as coffee and cake for Fika - was a big part of why we chose this hotel and they didn’t disappoint. It was a great way to save money especially with everything in Tromso being quite expensive. The location was a great spot on the water and facilities included sauna and gym. However, we didn't rate the actual room - was quite old and tv didn’t work well (was glitching and only a few channels no streaming services). There is also no spot in the hotel to see the aurora from e.g. a windowed area or rooftop. Despite the picture of the rooftop/spa - that is only available for an hour payment and booking. Quite disappointing as from our room our view was another building and couldn't even see the sky. This meant we had to keep going outside in the cold to see conditions. The rooms also aren't serviced daily - only every 3 days, which eas weird for a hotel. Overall, a decent option to save money for meal inclusions, but be aware of limited visiability and room inclusions.

Loved the food options for breakfast, snack time, and dinner. Every meal had multiple options and tasted great! Great location in the city as well and the view from the hot tub is awesome, where we saw northern lights one of the nights.

Thisnis perfectlunloxates but a budget hotel. They dont mention everything is extra. Ie hot tub costs money. There is no cleaning service for rooms even if you ask. Garbage dows not get picked up on hallways.

Overall, it was alright; however, the cleaning personnel hadn't cleaned properly, and as a result, we found a pack of prescription drugs beside the bed. Also, the toilet smelled of pee (and sewerage) from the drain in the shower.

Hotellet var meget slitt, og var en skuffelsen til prisen du må betale. Skitne gardiner, dårlig romvask og generelt rot/skitt i hele hotellet. Her spares det på rengjøringspersonale. Maten var god. Fint med fika og kveldsmat. Generelt et skuffende opphold

Très bon hôtel bien situé pour participer aux diverses expériences disponibles sur place. En plein centre donc idéal pour du shopping. Idéalement situé pour les transports. Petit effort à faire sur le ménage, personne en 4 nuits donc le ménage n'a pas été fait lors de notre séjour malgré une demande à l'accueil comme préconisé plus de 24h avant. Sinon bon petit déjeuner et dîner du soir et collation très bien.

The location is great. Very central. The breakfast was also very good and with gluten free options. The heating in the room is controlled by the hotel so you can’t adjust it as you want. We had it during the day a little cold and at night warm also with the window open. Also without heating, you cannot dry your gloves, scarves and caps seeing that in Tromsø it rains and snows a lot you get these easily wet. While showering water was coming out of the shower. We had to use extra towels to not keeping it going in the whole bathroom.

They don’t clean the room for you each day unless requested in advance. The room was really basic, no fridge which was quite a downer. For the price paid it’s quite disappointing. The breakfast and daily evening meal was quite substantial so that’s good. Overall, the location was great so that saves us a lot of time.

Personnel très accueillant Pour une chambre supérieure , celle ci est coté rue qui est très bruyante et à 6h du matin vous avez le bruit des engins municipaux Compte tenu du prix une chambre coté port aurait été plus agréable L'option demi pension est chère compte tenu de la qualité du repas du soir, les entrées sont identiques tous les soirs , seuls le plat de résistance est différents L'option buffet à volonté est par contre appréciée des clients

Great location but the rooms are shabby, very dated decor, scratched up, ugly colors, semi-gloss paint on walls (!) , depressing. No alarm clock, but no plug or charging port near bed so your phone is halfway across the room. Have to get up to see the time. No mini fridge no coffee maker. Bares bones. Bathroom bright cold light, ugly design, tiny shower, water gets allover floor. Thin walls, you hear every toilet flush of your neighbor. Nice sauna and jacuzzi but you have to pay extra to use jacuzzi and reserve a time. But it doesn’t open until 11am so for early risers, travelers up early with jet lag, can’t use it. Breakfast buffet was good. Dinner not good. Was hoping to save money by eating dinner there but it was unappetizing/blah (think meatloaf, plain noodles, potatoes in mayonnaise), so went out anyway. Basically way over-priced for what it is. If they hired a decent designer to re-do the rooms and got a better cook for dinner they cook warrant the prices.

Comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Very clean, but tired-looking rooms with furniture showing clear signs of wear. Nice bathroom and shower. Friendly and helpful staff and included half board very pleasant, if not spectacular. Expensive for what it is, but no different to other hotels in Tromso from that perspective.

Property was great! Location was super convenient to all of the fun stuff Tromsø has to offer. Dining, tours, etc. all walking distance. It’s also right on the water with great views of the harbor and across. Only issues were that staff doesn’t answer the phone and rarely was anyone at the front desk. It was kind of odd. But no issues, so no biggie.

Excellent stay at Home Hotel Aurora. Exceptional customer service! They answer your questions on line. At the hotel staff professional, friendly and helpful. Our flight was late and almost lost the dinner time. The front desk Sam was helpful and extremely professional handling my concern. We end uo having an delicious dinner, no better way to start our vacation in Tromso. Thanks for the restaurant cooker and stuff that prepared the meals and the friendly stuff. Thanks for tge wonderful experience in Tromso. We are planning to visit again and looking for to see you guys again

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel; however, stuff from our luggage was robbed while it was stored after our checkout. The staff allow people inside the storage room, freely and without supervision, which obviously is a great feast for those individuals looking to steal stuff. Sadly, loosing stuff made our whole experience regrettable. Would not recommend this hotel.

Staff are very nice, and try to go out of the way to pro ide service.. Check in was painless. The room was nice: 2 twin beds in a bedroom about 12 feet by.18 feet. The bedroom also has a deak, 2 chairs, and a small round glass top table.it didn't feel cramped. Beds were very comfortable: I slept very well. The bathroom has a heated floor. Bathroom Fixtures were new-appearing and looked modern.There are multiple outlets but no USB type A or type C ports. You will have to bring your own type C outlet adapters with USB ports to charge your phone, tablet, etc. The hotel provides breakfast, dinner, and a snack. Meals were very good. If you are renting a car, hotel parking is extremely limited. Be prepared to park elsewhere and pay up to the equivalent of $40 US per day. Grocery stores, restaurants, and shops are within easy walking distance.

Good hotel in a great location. Beds a little on the soft side and only 1 pillow available.However place very clean with the exception of a bad stain on the chair which I covered up with a towel before sitting on. Bit of a disaster checking in, had to wait until 16:45 for a key as it was a big change over day. It was unfair on the reception staff, just 1 person early and late shift. They need more staff on when its cruise change-over . They did provide free coffee and a bit of cake but it didnt really make up for such a delay. Decent evening meal, the beef patties (hamburger type things) not to my liking but there was plent of salad and other bits to eat. You cannot go hungry here even if youre a bit of a picky eater. Overall, good and i would stay again.

The bed was the most comfortable bed at a hotel that I've ever stayed in. The hotel was central so walking around, you could find anything. The hot tub is NOT INCLUDED. It cost about $50 usd per person for 30 mins. The staff was amazing save one interaction I had. I was going for Fika and the coffee/tea station didn't have any tea so I asked the front desk lady if it's moved or just all gone. She said its over there in the machine. It was not my first day at the hotel but they were doing a remodel so I asked if it was a new machine and went back to check it out again. It was not. I had used the machine before so I mentioned that the machine has the water but im looking for teabags. She got upset and reiterated that it was all over "there". I asked if she could show me because maybe im overlooking it. By this time she was pissed and walked out to the tea area with an attitude. She said someone must have moved it to the new dining area (again, it was under remodel) and that she will just make a new tea caddy. It was all very rude and disrespectful and she didn't apologize for talking to me like I was an idiot.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located right in front of Port and provided unmatched views of both Tromsø Bridge and the Lights. It is also at walking distance from city centre and major attractions. One of the highlight is walking around the port late evenings for sighting Auroras on clear sky. Food: Breakfast was amazing with vareity of options suitable for vegetarians, vegan, lactose intolerant and meat lovers. Dinner however had less options for vegetarians and could be improved. Overall an excellent location to stay with your friends or family.

Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber mittelmäßig. Kaffeemaschine defekt, kein Ersatz... Das Abendessen war nicht besonders toll. Es gab nur ein einziges Hauptgericht: "totgekochte Fleischklopse in brauner 08/15- Soße". Leider gab es keine Möglichkeit für Vegetarier, ertwas anderes zu finden. Die Salate waren ok, sodaß wir beide satt wurden. Sowas geht heutzutage aber eigentlich gar nicht mehr! Den Parkplatz muss man zusätzlich online vorher buchen - es gibt auch nur sehr wenige Plätze vor dem Hotel. Der Service im Hotel war ordentlich!

The included breakfast and dinner buffet, as well as coffee and cake for Fika - was a big part of why we chose this hotel and they didn’t disappoint. It was a great way to save money especially with everything in Tromso being quite expensive. The location was a great spot on the water and facilities included sauna and gym. However, we didn't rate the actual room - was quite old and tv didn’t work well (was glitching and only a few channels no streaming services). There is also no spot in the hotel to see the aurora from e.g. a windowed area or rooftop. Despite the picture of the rooftop/spa - that is only available for an hour payment and booking. Quite disappointing as from our room our view was another building and couldn't even see the sky. This meant we had to keep going outside in the cold to see conditions. The rooms also aren't serviced daily - only every 3 days, which eas weird for a hotel. Overall, a decent option to save money for meal inclusions, but be aware of limited visiability and room inclusions.

Nice cosy hotel, well located with friendly, helpful staff. Apart from a lovely breakfast they offered afternoon tea and coffee with cakes ( fika) and an evening buffet meal. Definitely recommend.

We had a good stay just before Christmas and the included breakfast afternoon snack and dinner were very convenient when we didn't want to venture out after a long day out. (More on the food in a moment) The room was very comfortable however the shower took a long time to heat up every time (15 minutes!) which was a bit annoying. The room was very peaceful and hotel very conveniently located in town. The food was generally good, however anything off the 'hot buffet' at breakfast and dinner was quite lukewarm even straight after it was brought out. The afternoon snack mentions waffles on the website but we never saw any waffles, just one type of tray-bake cake each day with coffee and hot water set out but no non-dairy milk option, I could only find non dairy milk at breakfast. I overheard some vegan guests really struggling to find anything to eat for their evening meals even dispute a sign saying things can be made for dietary requirements etc. overall the stay was good but I would have preferred the food to be hotter. The receptionist also seemed to disappear quite often with no means of calling for them to come back or sign left out one evening so was waiting around the lobby with several other guests for over 20 minutes one evening when I wanted to ask for an extra pillow.

Was expecting an amazing stay given reviews and recommendations, however we found food choice limited. Only 1 option each night and no vegetarian choice, unless you wanted soup. One night it was just bbq chicken wings which were cold, breakfast had a good choice but again, beans, eggs, bacon were all cold and had to get them microwaved. Didn’t realise had to pay for the sauna as not advertised, when did book session for evening had people hanging around the top and climbing all around for chance to spot northern lights. All in all for money per night expected more than what was offered and we had better experience at the Radisson Blu
