Perhaps one of my top 3 hotel stays. The room (11th floor, overlooking the waterfront) was large, very well maintained, with an increadible view. Staff was wonderful. Not a breakfast eater, but the breakfast bar looked lovely. Hotel was undergoing a major refit, with constructtion on the 11th floor, but only during the day, and not at all intrusive. Very reasonably priced (unlike the other Norway hotels we stayed in). If you're going to Tromso, this is the place to stay!

There is no parking. You have to go circles and find that. So add in the cost of parking overnight or whatever number of nights you will stay there on top of room. The elevators were dirty and seemed no one cleaned them. The hallways had a smell that reminds you of a bad alley you are walk through. There is construction so if you happen to sleep late then you will be awaken promptly at 7:30. The breakfast was good and had a lot of selection items. Overall, I wouldn’t stay there again.
