The room was nice and comfy (Junior Suite) and staff was friendly. Location of the hotel is very convenient. Just be careful on weekends if you are a light sleeper, even in 6th floor floor you could here the music from the night club in the hotel. Not super loud but maybe bothersome for some people.

Vom Flughafen mit dem Bus ( 1. Halt) in wenigen Minuten erreichbar ( der Bus hält direkt vor dem Hotel). Zentrale Lage. Keine und im Umfeld sehr schwierige Parksituation. Reichhaltiges vielseitiges Frühstück. Rollstuhlgerecht. Geduldiges und immer freundliches Personal. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen Preisleistung stimmt.

Dance club on the bottom floor made loud pulsating music till 3am. Also lack of Netflix on tvs. Bathoom had a weird layout which put the toilet on the side of the basin which made it sit right in your face.

Great stay - accomodations, room and breakfast were great. Good location and felt very safe. It would have been a 5 star rating until Thursday night when the nightclub was open until 2am. I could hear it on the 8th floor.

Umwerfend gutes Frühstück!! Bequemes Bett. Wir waren im 3er Zimmer, das Bettsofa war sehr (zu) weich. WLAN war auch im 7. Stock sehr gut. Lift langsam. Nettes Personal, sehr gute Lage. Wir hätten es begrüsst, wenn der Mülleimer geleert worden wäre. Bei 3 Personen reicht ein kleiner Eimer kaum. Auch die Betten wurden nicht gemacht (wir waren 2 Nächte dort). Das spielt mir keine Rolle, aber es sollte angeschrieben werden. Zu wenige Plätze beim Frühstück. Was nicht gut war, bei unserer Ankunft hatte es in der Lobby und im Treppenhaus gewaltig nach „Kanalisation“ oder so gestunken. Ganz schlimm! Aber am Abreisetag war der Gestank dann weg. Kann alles passieren, vielleicht ein Rohrbruch oder ein Defekt. ABER informiert doch die Gäste wenigstens! Ein „Sorry“, aber es wird geflickt, einfach ein Hinweis wäre schon nett gewesen. Empfang ein wenig nordisch unterkühlt, je nach Besetzung wurde es aber freundlicher. Zimmer ausreichend groß, gegen Verkehr relativ gut gedämmt, Ablagen bzw. Schränke nicht vorhanden, man lebt aus dem Koffer. Man wird am Anfang gefragt wie oft die Zimmer sauber gemacht werden sollen, jedoch wurde dies bis auf Handtuchwechsel nicht umgesetzt. Haben uns schon auf einen 2 Tages Rhythmus festgelegt, aber auch der wurde leider nicht erfüllt. Frühstück jedoch einwandfrei, sowohl qualitativ als auch quantitativ absolut zufrieden. Lage ist perfekt um an die vorhandenen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu gelangen, oder per Bus, Schiff etc. Unternehmungen zu tätigen.

Bad war nicht sauber, Zimmer warscheinlich lange nicht benutzt.... im WC Syphon war kein Wasser ( hat gestunken ) Ablage noch mit Wasser/Zahnpasta Resten, an der Duschwand hingen lange Haare und krause Haare, Duschgel war leer....Kabel von Phön war zugestaubt...TV war der Stecker defekt.... Boden im Zimmer schmutzig...

Beim Frühstück war es oft etwas schwierig einen Platz zu finden, da einfach zu viele Leute waren. Vorallem am Wochenende wo das Frühstück erst um 8 Uhr beginnt. Mehr Tische/Platz und längere Zeiten wären gut. Die Reinigung der Dusche (Abfluss) hätte etwas gründlicher sein können. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr sauber und gepflegt. Von der Lage war das Hotel perfekt. Da im Hotel ein Nachtclub ist kann es mal etwas lauter sein. Der Club hat aber soweit ich gesehen habe nur Freitags auf, das kann man verschmerzen. Die Bettdecken waren sehr warm also lieber eine kurze Hose einpacken. Würde wieder dort einchecken.

Markellos würde ich das Zimmer nicht nennen. Die Türrahmen könnten einen neuen Anstrich vertragen, es ist sehr sehr dunkel, wir konnten nicht erkennen( bis auf gemachte Betten) das die Reinigungskraft im Zimmer war. Bad und Fußboden wurden nicht gereinigt. Bei Ankunft war das Zimmer tadellos, das Frühstück war sehr lecker. 3 von 4 Rezeptionsdamen waren super nett.

tudo, com exceção do café da manhã. todas as noites, ao chegar ao quarto, a porta não abria, o que fazia com que tivéssemos de descer para revalidar o cartão da fechadura. Flia quilométrica para sermos atendido. Alèm disso, o primeiro quarto que nos colocaram, ao abrirmos a porta, vimos que além de desarumado, camas e toalhas no chão, estava sujo. Isso nos fez descer a portaria e aguardarmos por mais de 20 minutos para seremos atendido, pois o servico é lento. Pedimos para que a acomodação fosse limpa, todos os dias, só trocaram a toalha, permanecendo o quarto sujo.

Prima kamer, erg vriendelijk personeel, wasservice is fijn, indeling van de kamer vonden wij prettig met bedden en zitje. Heerlijk ontbijt. Het was alleen best warm in augustus, airco is er niet en in de nacht moet het raam dicht vanwege de herrie op straat. Dat is het enige nadeel. Verder prima hotel!!

We had the windowed corner all the way at the top during "midnight summer". You can see it in the hotel picture. The view was fantastic! It was sunny 24/7 which was truly amazing. There was no AC and once of the windows was locked so there couldn't be any cross draft. There was a fan, though. It was hot in there even though the outside temp never rose above 65° outside. Hotel breakfast was extensive and delicious but a scrum of people every day. Hotel staff were very nice people but you're kind of on your own, IMO.

Nettes Hotel in Super Lage. Zimmer sind Modern aber eher klein, Bad groß . Kaum Ablage Möglichkeiten. Kein Deutsches TV . Sehr hellhörig. Und morgens um 8 Uhr wurde man von lauten Handwerkergeräuschen geweckt. Frühstück ist lecker und reichhaltig.

An OK hotel. Relatively small rooms, but quiet. Lacks proper AC for hot days and limited to opening windows with bars immediately downstairs that create noise late into the night. You need to request change of towels and refill of toilet paper. Poor draining of sinks and showers from likely clogged pipes.

Very good located in the center, breakfast is very rich and fantastic !! Very friendly personal. Clean, big family room. The only point I could complain about was the WLAN which was just moderate and did not work reliable all the time

The Scandic Grand Tromso did a terrible job at check in. They were changing locks on the day we checked in so check in HAD to be right at 4PM. They did a terrible job of conveying this information. When we tried to check in earlier (yes, I know check-in is at 4..but who doesn't try to check in early), we were gruffly told, "Check-in is at 4, store your luggage down stairs." The person was not pleasant and no explanation until much much later. Not a good first impression for people. The shower leaked heavily, causing water to leak all over the bathroom floor.

The staff were lovely -very helpful. They allowed us to check in early since our room was ready. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of offerings. There was a washer and dryer available for use which was greatly appreciated!

L'Hotel ha uno standard internazionale, le stanze sono ampie e confortevoli. Il check-in si può fare a partire dalle ore 16 e se arrivi alla mattina è un po' disagevole. La sala prima colazione è troppo piccola per ospitare tutti i clienti e sei sei in 4 persone fai molta fatica a trovare un tavolo libero per restare assieme. Il buffet della prima colazione è molto ricco con piatti caldi e freddi di buona qualità. Personale gentile anche se spesso c'è solo 1 receptionist in turno e se prima di te arriva un gruppo a fare il check-in devi aspettare parecchio per avere la chiave della tua stanza. Jeg overnattet 2 døgn på Scandic Grand Tromsø i august 2023. Hotellet ligger så sentralt som det er mulig å komme i Tromsø, med kort avstand til det meste av restauranter, butikker osv. Hard Rock Cafe ligger rett på den andre siden av gata. Jeg har egentlig lite å utsette på dette hotellet. De ansatte var hyggelige, frokosten var meget god og rommet rent og pent. Rommet hadde TV, kjøleskap og ganske god hylleplass for klær etc. Badet var også helt greit, men det tok litt lang tid fra man skrudde på kranen til man fikk varmt vann. Alt i alt er jeg veldig godt fornøyd med mitt opphold på Scandic Grand Tromsø.

The hotel itself is well located within walking distance to all (except for the Arctic cathedral) tourist attractions and the main “high street”. The room was nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We appreciate that people generally have breakfast at a certain time and this meant that the restaurant was overly busy during this pinch point. However, there is no real structure or assistance from the hotel with this and therefore makes it feel chaotic. With this said; the spread served at the buffet breakfast has an extended variety of choices - amazing! We would definitely stay here when we next visit during the summer sun!

Beim Frühstück war es oft etwas schwierig einen Platz zu finden, da einfach zu viele Leute waren. Vorallem am Wochenende wo das Frühstück erst um 8 Uhr beginnt. Mehr Tische/Platz und längere Zeiten wären gut. Die Reinigung der Dusche (Abfluss) hätte etwas gründlicher sein können. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr sauber und gepflegt. Von der Lage war das Hotel perfekt. Da im Hotel ein Nachtclub ist kann es mal etwas lauter sein. Der Club hat aber soweit ich gesehen habe nur Freitags auf, das kann man verschmerzen. Die Bettdecken waren sehr warm also lieber eine kurze Hose einpacken. Würde wieder dort einchecken.

Easy to find and location was excellent. There were no parking space at the hotel but we knew that before so it didn't effect. Breakfast was great. Big suprise was that our room was upgraded to better one at the same price so that was a great suprise.
