Love the staff, great breakfast, and the other food is meant to be excellent. Carpets need a clean, stairs, hallways, and Room 204 ( maybe more). Nicely situated and I use it as few alternatives

Spent 2 nights here. Excellent location if you have a car. Shops all within a 5 minute drive. Had a nice dinner on one of the night and it was reasonably priced. Staff very friendly. Plenty of car parking.

Great hotel a short taxi ride from the city. Basic rooms, beautiful bar/restaurant area. Reasonably priced, would definitely return. Only disappointment was the wine with dinner which wasn't great

The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff on reception was very friendly and the night porter was great when we needed access after midnight as had to pop out to do a pickup from the airport. Breakfast in the morning was a fantatstic selection, we got down early so everything was very fresh and breakfast staff was very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything, will definitely be returning for another nights stay!

We stayed here the night before a large competition that was taking place in Waterford. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We did have an issue with our son who has coeliac disease not being able to order anything from the lunch menu. Though when we spoke to the restaurant manager she was very helpful and helped make sure he could eat something at dinner and breakfast. Their menus do need to me updated to ensure people with autoimmune diseases and allergies can eat in their restaurant. Overall a pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel, clean and freshly painted with what appears to be new carpet in lobby, stairs. Room, beds, were comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Manager, Karen, was great at check in. Ate dinner in restaurant. It was good. I asked for no roll so don’t judge by picture. Waitress was funny and knowledgeable. We learned about “Baa” bread and some beer facts. Only complaint we had was shower water pressure. Very poor pressure. Hard to wash hair and rinse.

The staff couldnt have been friendlier. Nicely-appointed rooms and property. However, it’s a pretty noisy place. We heard mechanical systems through the window, doors slamming, even conversations of our neighbors throughout the night.

While I like the place and having stayed 2 times. A re-occurring trend I have experienced, is the inadequate restaraunt service. While staff are friendly, young and inexperienced. Trying to get an order in and catch their attention is challenging at best. It is not a shortage of staff, rather lacking in direction and customer service training. I was not alone in this, watching others equally trying to get their attention aswell. The restaurant both times was 20% full. Food is good. Place is overall good for work visits. But the restaurant service needs improvement, this would make it an enjoyable stay.

Much nicer on the inside compared to the look of the outside. Had to explain what a white wine spritzer was but food was good. Staff didnt always understand what we were saying. On an industrial site which we weren't aware of when booked.

We had travelled to Ireland and came to Waterford by train from Dublin. We wanted to be close to Waterford's Crystal as this was one of the main attractions we came to see. In the hotel description it said it was close by. It was not. As we had planned to walk to all of the sites we wanted to see. Overall the hotel was comfortable, the staff great, but not in walking distance of downtown. You will need to hire taxis

This is a great hotel with excellent rooms, very helpful staff and a very good dining room for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is located a few kilometres out of town on the edge of an industrial estate, so the location is not all that convenient for direct access to the city attractions. However, if you have a car, the slight inconvenience of the travel to the city is more than offset by the high standard of this hotel with reasonable room rates and an affordable menu in the dining room. The buffet breakfast is great and really worth the money.

The room was large with a comfortable king sized bed. It even had a refrigerator, which not all their rooms do. But it was very plain, absolutely nothing special. We ate both dinner and breakfast there, and it was "okay." Breakfast was very Hampton Inn-style. Parking was convenient and free. But the location of this hotel is TERRIBLE. I cannot fathom WHY we picked this hotel in this location - it was pretty expensive given that it is 5 miles from the city center. It's surrounded by mostly car dealerships, so not walkable at all. Would not recommend, wouldn't stay here again.
