A very nice clean and well located hotel. We arrived later in the evening and they had upgraded us to a room with a view of the Cathedral. Breakfast was good and well priced. It was only for one night, but I would have liked to have been able to stay longer. Only down side was the lack of an elevator, at least for the part of the hotel we were in.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helped with questions that we had. The location of this hotel was perfect for walking to the Bayeux tapestry and cathedral, seeing the town, restaurants, tourism office, patisserie, etc. A great hotel with parking available, although not a lot of spaces in front of the hotel, there are many lots nearby. Breakfast is available for purchase. Very clean room, nice sized bathroom. Highly recommend this hotel. (Be aware, there are steps to some of the rooms and no lift).

Quaint little hotel. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. *No elevators / lift*. You can walk to it from the train sttion, but be aware of the cobble roads.... Area is very walkable and close to a beautiful church. Check out the pizza place and the irish pub around the corner. Fantastic!

Lovely hotel located in the centre of old Bayeux, literally a two minute walk from the tapestry museum (although the museum is closing soon for refurbishment). The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. There is lots of WW2 memorabilia on display around the hotel which is interesting. Our room was perfect for a couple and was clean and well decorated and had air conditioning. We chose the option of a continental breakfast which had lots to choose from. We stayed here as a stopover, spending the day in Bayeux before heading to Caen for the night ferry. This worked well and we will be looking to do the same next summer!

Property is conveniently located in downtown Bayeux. Parking is public but directly behind the hotel. Hotel staff was accommodating. We noted an issue with our shower door which was off the track on one side. Could not close the door which resulted in the floor getting soaked each morning.

The front staff was very rude and double charged our reservation for breakfast even though I had email proof to show that I had prepaid. Our room was dusty and the low slanted ceiling was claustrophobic. There were 10 people in our party and we would not recommend this hotel.

La chambre très exigue (14 m2 ) pour un prix affiche de 164 euros, sans parking et sans ascenseur et ceci malgré le fait que l'l'hôtel soit bien place en centre ville. En plus, il n'y avait plus de savon dans la douche qui n'était parfaitement propre. Le prix propose par l'établissement était de 150 euros avec petit déjeuner, le prix affiche ttc sur le site d'hôtels.com 164 euros et après rajout de taxes (?????) le prix final supérieur a 185 euros. Nous avons quand même réservé en imputant une nuit gratuite. Je dois preciser que nous sommes théoriquement membre "GOLD"

Be aware this is a historic hotel. The rooms can be quite small depending upon your assigned room please alert the hotel when you book if you have disabilities or need a walk-in shower there are a few available. A nonslip mat was not available for the shower tub combination. This is a soaker tub, very deep and required my presence in the shower for my husband to get in and out safely. The lighting in the room was quite dim, but there are adequate plugs or charging your technology. Breakfast was average for the price.

Excellent location for exploring Bayeux but unfortunately the adjacent street is very busy and noisy late into the night. The rooms are quite small but very comfortable. Excellent shower room. One room had an internal window overlooking a covered courtyard so was very dark, noot really a problem but it was advertised as a superior room. Excellent cleanliness, helpful and friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. All adjacent parking is payable (the hotel does not have a private car park), and a full day ticket is not available so the meter has to be topped up during the day. Overall they stay was very enjoyable in spite of the few negative issues.

Excellent location to walk around the town. Big complaint about wifi as our room had none even though there was wifi on the property. One small complaint is the walls are thin so we could hear the next room coughing and talking. We were also told by staff that the nearby church was having a light show and found out that it had ended the week prior. The parking is whatever you can find but it is free from 7pm until 9:am at least!

The hotel is nice. Room 12 is cleverly furnished but is just too small. It’s cramped. Breakfast is too expensive there is no questions asked about allergies or diabetes. One price fits all is not a good thing. €29 for a diabetic breakfast for instance is absurd. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Room 12 should not be a viable option for anyone. Despite all we had a very nice stay. The bed is comfortable

Hotel advertised having WiFi but it was not available from guest rooms. Cell reception is also nonexistent so communication was challenging. The room is so small the bathroom door can’t open all the way because it hits the bed. There is a single electrical outlet in the entire room. WiFi was sometimes available from the breakfast area, which serves a very mediocre overpriced breakfast buffet. The location is excellent but I would never stay at this property again.

Checking in the staff was so nice. The lady who checked us in even carrried my wife’s luggage up to our 2nd floor room. Everytime we would leave the hotel the front desk staff was so pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The shower was awesome.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, professional, helpful, and welcoming. We were especially impressed and grateful to Carol who went to great lengths to help us figure out parking for our rental car — including lending us her personal blue parking pass for one of the days of our stay. Great breakfast, as well!

Our stay at the family owned Churchill Hotel was awesome. Our room was very spacious with all the amenities that you would expect from a first class hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Staff assisted with great dinner reservations. If we return to Bayeux, we would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Churchill. Perfectly located, thecteam could not be more helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. They have a wonderful breakfast room and a lovely outdoor courtyard. Look no further than the Churchill for your stay in Bayeux!

This was a wonderful hotel right in the center of Bayeux. The perfect location for visiting the town. It has a fabulous breakfast bar and is located near many high quality restaurants for lunch and dinner. Fun shopping the downtown streets. The street market on Saturday was great fun, too. The staff at the Churchill was over the top in a good way!!! Stay there. You won’t regret it.

Great location on the main street, parking nearby once familiar with the area and right next to a supermarket 😉 Lovely view too of the famous cathedral from the bedroom. Didn’t have any breakfast so can’t really comment although looked a decent choice mainly continental with scrambled eggs and a choice of cereal. Bayeux was ideally located for visiting the main WW2 sites which was the purpose of my visit.

What a great hotel in a perfect location! The Bayeux Notre Dame and Tapestry Museum are both just blocks away. Easy access to D Day historic sites and they even have a shuttle that runs from the hotel to St Michelle. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, nice property, great staff, nicely decorated, lots of windows, nice breakfast room. Comfortable bed & bedroom. However, the rooms should offer water bottles & even glasses (not paper cups). The breakfast buffet while ok, could be improved a notch for this type of hotel, by offering more fruits, replacing the cereal dispenser (it’s kind of messy) by a simple bowl - make it more European.

Recommended in Rick Steve's guide books so its a safe choice. Excellent location in center of Bayeux - short walk to museums and Notre Dame Cathedral. However, rooms don't have refrigerators nor is there an accessible ice machine without walking down to front desk. No elevator. Hot water seemed to not to be very hot after one of us showered first. During our stay, room wasn't made up the second day for some unknown reason. Street it faces doesn't allow cars so vehicle access is actually from the back entrance (Google maps doesn't get it right) Two better, although more expense hotels are very nearby. Not a bad choice, just not a great choice for a vacation in Normandy.

Property advertised WiFi but it absolutely did not reach the rooms. Spotty WiFi available at times from the breakfast area. Cell phone service was also nearly nonexistent which made communication impossible during our stay. There was a single outlet in the room. The room is so small the bathroom door can’t open all the way because it hits the bed and we didn’t have space to open our carry on sized suitcases anywhere but on the bed. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is mediocre and very overpriced. Location is fantastic in Bruges and accessible to the many areas of Normandie. I will never stay here again.

Very comfortable and quiet. I loved the layout of one twin in the room attached to the bathroom and the other beds in another room. I slept very well, which is high praise. The breakfast cost was too high though.
