The location and grounds offered outstanding views of the towns below. Staff was non existent and bar and restaurant closed. Room overlooked roof and garbage cans. Hotel would not change unless we paid an additional 50 euros. Breakfast had good variety but not really attended to see where things needed to be replenished.

What a fabulous hotel with a long history. A great way to end our stay in Italy. A hotel with ambience and character. Dinner was great. We had a car, so getting there was no problem. Would gladly stay again

Bellissimo hotel a Frascati con vista dall’alto verso la capitale. Tramonto fantastico. Possibilità di raggiungere il centro di Frascati per un ottima cena. Stanze molto spaziose immerse in un contesto di antica villa. Consiglio per un piacevole soggiorno. Ottima anche la possibilità di prendere aperitivo bordo piscina. Relax.

Séjour de 3 nuits dans cette hôtel qui est un ancien Palais visiblement. Les amateurs d'art seront ravis. La chambre était confortable avec une vue magnifique depuis le 4e étage. Lit confortable. Calme absolu de quoi dans l'hôtel. Le parc est magnifique mais mérite d'être entretenu. La salle de bain est classique, deçu toutefois de l'absence de distributeur de savon, gel douche, shampoo. Il y des savons d'hôtel bas de gamme et deux mini flacon de shampoo. Le restaurant est bien, les plats sont délicieux et le cadre magnifique. La piscine est petite et je n'ai vu personne s'y baigner. Le personnel est serviable et au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet copieux Rapport qualité/prix très intéressant. Voiture conseillée pour y aller.

Struttura meravigliosa, con un panorama da sogno, e a 5 min da Frascati. Colazione abbondante e varia. Parcheggio gratuito. Non posso dire altrettanto per le camere e il servizio. Accettabili. In qualsiasi caso tornerei

Fantastic situated historic hotel with views outside town of Frascati. Garden and restaurant open Saturday (not Sunday and Monday) the week we visited. Problem to stay there unless you have a car, or want to walk 2 kilometers to Frascati. We used taxi /Uber which was quite easy to book. No wifi in rooms only in corridor and public areas. Furnitures in rooms and garden -wish they were more up-to-date. Reasonable prices. Don't choose classoc room if you want to have some space in room.

Siamo arrivati in tarda serata …..accoglienza perfetta ed impeccabile …..stanza con upgrade con vista giardino…..pulita e accogliente Rapporto qualità prezzo adeguato Unica nota stonata nella colazione il mancato servizio di un cappuccino fatto all’istante e portato al tavolo da un inserviente …. Comunque da tornarci grazie!

Property is amazing to visit . But the hotel is poorly managed. AC doesn’t work Wifi none existent rooms are bare. beds uncomfortable showers are moldy Hair dryer does not work

La struttura consiste in una villa del 1568 ristrutturata in modo meraviglioso. L'hotel è sulla cima di un colle da cui si domina Frascati e Roma. Le stanze sono arredate con gusto retrò in linea con il resto della struttura, letti comodi, bagno ampio e pulito, vista mozzafiato. non è possibile chiedere di meglio

Certainement ma pire expérience en Italie. A fuir !! Suite Junior réservée. Nous arrivons tard dans la nuit et trouvons les toilettes repeint d’excréments (voir photo). En demandant à l’accueil un changement de suite, il m’annonce d’abord que l’hôtel est complet puis me facture un supplément de 40€ car l’autre suite est plus grande. 45min de discussion à 1h du matin pour enfin aller dormir. Clou du spectacle, le lendemain au petit déjeuner le personnel se fiche de moi. Hôtel sale, literie catastrophique (voir photo) et personnel antipathique. Seul point fort, le bâtiment, un ancien hôtel particulier sur les hauteurs de Rome.

It was beautiful, big rooms and very clean

OK for one night but not much longer. The check in experience was lacking any kind of excitement and overall, the room is pretty gloomy with poor quality bed. The bathroom had all the amenities and more which was great but cleaning both in the bathroom and in room could be a lot better (especially where the room we had was carpeted).

La struttura era molto bella dal punto di vista architettonico, ma la camera che ci è stata assegnata (matrimoniale) avrebbe avuto bisogno di interventi di ristrutturazione, in particolare nella zona bagno in cui i sanitari oltre ad essere datati erano mal funzionanti ed il piatto doccia scivolosissimo. La prima cosa che ho notato entrando in bagno è stato uno degli asciugamani del bidet con due macchioline di non chiara natura. Tra l' altro avevamo prenotato una camera standard selezionando tra i servizi richiesti l' aria condizionata invece abbiamo trovato un ventilatore fattoci per di più passare come una gentile concessione. Colazione buona con vasta scelta.

Stunning 16th century villa located in the hills woth a gorgeous view of Roma. Don't expect too much in the way of wifi ir cell coverage. I had no internet in my room for the 1st 2 days. Breakfast was shockingly bad. The hot food was always cold and they ran out of concentrate for the juice machine on my second day there. The service however was excellent. Francesco is a superb asset for the hotel and he was a genuinely nice person. My room was very basic, with no coffee making facilities or anything in there. The fridge in the room didnt keep anything cold, it just served as a place to store your dribks with a light. As much as i liked it there, i will not be returning, however beautiful it is.

It is the kind of place Americans dream about when they think "country Italian villa." THE BAD: Hotel caters to a lot of bus tours, and they overwhelm the place in the early morning and late in the day when the busses arrive. The situation is made worse by the fact that noises echo through the building, so the ruckus is shared with everyone in the villa. Very intrusive. Also, I think the staff and management is so dependent on the groups, if you are a single guest with a single problem, they really don't give you much attention. I was there 4 nights and they still weren't sure who I was by the time I left. THE UGLY: They really need a shuttle to and from Frascati. Don't come here if you don't have your own transportation, or are not willing to walk the 20 minute steep climb from Frascati. Getting a cab is very difficult. I waited 3 hours to get a cab from Frascati to the villa, and no one cared. One company even hung up on me because the guy was annoyed that I called three times over the course of three hours. If ever there was a city that needs Uber, it's Rome. Transportation in general is a nightmare there, but getting to and from the villa is the worst.

Having a party with loud music right underneath our room for hours when we try to get to sleep was very, very disturbing

No AC, dim lights, some are not functioning, shower door does not fully close. Refrigerator does not cool down. Pillow is too thin, very uncomfortable mattress. Breakfast was good.

The room was small; for those of us who need an iron for our suits (none available). If you do not have a car or plan on renting one it will cost 40 to 50 euros and 45 minutes plus to visit the sites in Rome. It was also difficult to find.

Beautiful Venetian style and impeccable . Ambience is relaxing . Quiet and amazing view . You need a car or taxi to go intoFrascati . Friendly helpful staff .

Villa Tuscolana is a gem perched on a hill in Frascati. A welcomed refresh from the bustle of Roma. The Villa is beautiful and elegant. The staff, especially Stefano, were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was very nice and the wait staff was lovely. The accommodations were very nice and so happy to have air conditioning. Beautiful location, exquisite Villa ! Location is a fun walk down the hill into town and would suggest a taxi to walk up (I walked up twice and was very nice exercise but not for everyone)! Thank you Villa Tuscolana

Villa Tuscolana was great. Beautiful building and grounds in a great location outside of Frascati. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Simona gave us great recommendations for a day trip and restaurants nearby. Only downside is WIFI only works in the lobby and common areas.

We stayed in a classic room which was very run down and in need of renovation. When we asked staff for a different room, the answer was no. I guess some just lack customer service skills. It’s very unfortunate to come to Italy and have a bad experience with hotel. We will not be staying there again.

Is was a great pleasure to stay at this villa surrounded by history. Daniele took us up to the 5th floor to see the view by night - stunning. We had a lovely stay and would stay again if possible. Angie

Ficamos hospedados para um casamento que ocorreu no hotel. Considere ter um carro para hospedagem nesse hotel. Ele fica próximo a cidade de Frascati, porém para ir caminhando é longe. Amazing views and beautiful estate.

This is such a beautiful property ontop of a hill that overlooks all of Frascati. It's a quick train ride to Rome. Only thing is I would not suggest coming here if you don't have a car or are not fond of walking. The walk from the train station to the property is ~1.5KM up a pretty steep hill. It was fine for my wife and I to walk up and down every night but I won't recommend doing that with luggage. If you need a trip from the hotel to the train station with your luggage, consider booking the taxi the night before because the services there are limited.

Hardly any maintenance done. Quite out of dat and superior room is only about size, nit comfort. Two shower heads of which flexible one was not working, flush was random working, safe lock not working. Breakfast free but not really great on healthy options
