Hotel is in an old building and parts of the interior, especially the corridors, need renovating. Bathroom was clean with modern fittings, but it was desperately cramped. There was hardly space to move and there was no clear space even to hang the toilet rolls or towels. Bedroom was clean with comfortable bed. If you opened the window for much needed fresh air, it was noisy. It is across the road from the main station. But that meant easy transport everywhere. It is on two tram routes.

This was a very clean and maintained hotel right across from the main Bordeaux train station Gare St Jean. It’s also walking distance to a lot of the central Bordeaux attractions. The staff were excellent on check in/out and during the stay. The lobby is small but quaint with coffee and a little sitting area with games and books and a ukulele. Would highly recommend this especially if taking the train.

The staff were very helpful and the position opposite the train station was perfect for us. The tram stop was also right there. The room was small but all amenities were provided. Coffee or tea in the tiny foyer for a small charge. The shower and carpet needed a good clean. However, the hotel is undergoing renovations at the moment.

Chambre côté cour tranquille, mais fenêtre symbolique. Emplacement très pratique pour les transports, sauf l’accès en voiture, car l’hôtel est sur une rue piétonne. Attention: Il y a quatre hôtels portant la bannière Ibis dans ce secteur. Assurez-vous de savoir d’avance lequel est le vôtre!

Great location for station. Breakfast fine. Rooms have all been smoked in and stink like an ashtray. First room we were was so bad, we asked to be moved. C'est bien situe, et le petit déjeuner était agréable, mais malheureusement les chambres ont toutes l'odeur d'un cafe des années 80, c'est a dire comme un cendrier.

Dans ma chambre il y avait une odeur d'égout. Etant arrivée tard à l'hôtel, je n'ai pas eu le courage de le signaler et de demander à changer de chambre, et suis certaine qu'ils m'auraient trouvé une solution. La situation géographique, face à la gare St Jean est un vrai plus pour les trains tôt le matin.

Hotel is perfectly located for the train station , that does mean of course that it can be a little noisy outside. The room was small, and a very tiny bathroom, but all spotlessly clean and tidy. I didn’t like the mattress or pillows much, but I have trouble sleeping anyway so I could be being fussy.

My only real complaint about the room was the bathroom door.... it was a swinging shower door as opposed to a "real" door which one can shut!! This means ZERO toilet privacy and depending on with whom you are travelling, this can be extremely awkward!

Booked a triple room for a one night stopover. Arrived after nine in the evening due to issues with Eurostar and missing a connection in Paris. Hotel about as close to station as it could be without actually being inside. No problem checking in late. Room was small but adequate for what we needed and although it’s a very busy area didn’t really notice any noise issues. Plenty of places to eat in area.

The noise outside the room woke me up at 5am and the matress was about 10cm thick and moved around as it wasn't attached to the bed and was hot and uncomfortable so it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. There were homeless people sleeping in the doorway and some unsavoury charcters around at night and as a woman travelling alone I did not feel safe.

Seul bémol, je n'ai pas trouvé comment caster mon téléphone avec la télé. Les chaînes de télévision ne m'intéressent généralement pas. Hotel direkt gegenüber des Bahnhofs, sehr praktisch! Das Bad ist etwas klein, aber es fehlt an nichts im Zimmer. Ich hatte einen tollen Ausblick auf den Bahnhof. Das Frühstück ist gut, der Frühstücksraum ohne Fenster und grellem Rotton etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und klein.
