ibis Bordeaux Centre - Gare Saint-Jean

Nice place, located near the train station Saint Jean. The order had an misunderstanding with my breakfast payed reservation according to the system arriving at IbisHotel, but Hotels.com live chat service acted quickly, resolving issues in less than 24 hours to verify my reservation, payment, and process my refund. Excellent service, thank you very much.

Located near to the station, budget hotel poor breakfast and small rooms. Friendly staff.

Overall okay, but the walls in the room were very dirty and needed to be cleaned. Especially behind the desk and suitcase bench. Disgusting. Room was extremely tight, had to squeeze by furniture. Had some confusion at checkin with breakfast, I thought they told me breakfast was included but they charged my 13.90 per day. Apparently they were asking if I wanted breakfast included. Be careful with this. Location is good for the train, but you need to take the tram into the city centre (which is easy)

Right now there is construction around the area, so it wasn't easy to arrive at the hotel

Rooms are in desperate need of a deep clean and renovation. Bathroom was very grotty. Be prepared that rooms are so basic that they don’t even have water glasses. The hotel is currently surrounded by a building site so don’t expect any nice views of Bordeaux
