We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children and it was huge. price and quality was good. The pool is good and big. The dinner was delicious and enough choice. The same applies for the breakfast. The service at the restaurant was not as good as the food. They were not very interested, gave us menu in French instead of English or asking us if we wanted the English one and not all employees spoke English. Hotel needs some remodeling as it is old from the inside (dirty carpets, old paint, etc); For one night i would recomend.

The hotel is to the North of Bordeaux city centre. It is few minutes walk to a tram stop for the C Tram line and a 20-25 min tram line into the city. The hotel pool is good with some sunbeds, and it’s open 11am-9pm with the hotel providing pool towels for free use. The bedroom on 6th floor look to have been recently refurbished and was comfortable. The hotel was let down by having not many staff to cover the bar during the day and reception. The breakfast buffet was basic, but there was staff replenishing regularly what was on offer. It was fine.

Tuvimos muy mala experiencia, no lo recomiendo. Las Instalaciones son muy viejas, y reciben poco mantenimiento, el baño de la habitación pésimamente aseado, pelos y uñas en el suelo, mal olor, aparatos sanitarios manchados y sucios. La ducha con muy poca agua, sin presión. El lavabo no funcionaba bien, se atascaba el wc y el lavabo. La habitación con moqueta manchada y maloliente. Aspecto muy desagradable. El servicio muy deficiente, a excepción de un camarero muy majo que habla español, los demás poco simpáticos y mal presentados. El desayuno carísimo para la poca calidad de la comida, muy mal servido, con pocas condiciones de higiene, moscas en la comida. No lo recomiendo,

Très déçus pour un hôtel Mercure ! Hôtel dégradé, vieux, sale, bruyant… moquette tachée, salle de bain sale, on a même retrouvé une culotte enfant sous le meuble télé. Meubles, WC, miroir et porte sdb très abîmés. Pas de sac poubelle dans les wc, pas de corbeille à papier dans la chambre. Très bruyant avec les moteurs de la Clim juste derrière le mur de la chambre 121. Accueil arrivée décevant, zéro accueil au départ, zéro accueil au petit déjeuner. Il est grand temps de penser à rénover cet hôtel qui ne mérite pas plus qu’une étoile !

Spacious family room in business district outside of town Hotel was a bit run down, seemed to have works going on. Decor need a revamp as bits were dirty and coming apart. Lobby toilet was not nice and had not been cleaned. One of the lifts was broken, the other very slow and not really worth using unless you needed to.

Chambre spacieuse avec un grand lit double. 2 fauteuils avec tables basses, de nombreux rangements. Manque une ou deux prises de courant notamment sur un côté de la table de nuit. Grande salle de bain avec un grand tablier pour déposer ses affaires, douche un peu étroite à mon goût, mais elle fait son office.

J’ai eu un bon accueil à la réception Malheureusement très mal accueilli au restaurant. Un serveur est venu au bout de 30 mn pour me demander mon numéro de chambre et le choix de mon plat .Finalement Je le remercie car j’ai traversé le parking pour fuir une mauvaise soirée et j’ai passé une délicieuse soirée chez Hippopotamus avec de l’accueil et du service . Pour être dans un hôtel 4 étoiles sans un minimum de service ce n’est plus acceptable .

We stayed at the hotel twice (2 separate nights) for the purpose of being near the airport. It was value for money, clean and quiet. Easy to get into the city centre by the nearby tram. We also ate lunch at the steak restaurant next door which was pleasant.

Buen hotel, con piscina y cerca del lago. El desayuno muy básico, poca fruta, sin zumos naturales, un solo tostador y antiguo. Está lejos de la ciudad para desplazarse es necesario el coche. Las instalaciones del lago las abren un poco tarde, a tener en cuenta.

L'hôtel malgre son age est superbe. Il est actuellement plus ou moins en réfection. Effectivement les chambres sont grandes mais la salle de bain même si elle semble avoir ete refaite a été mal conçu. La porte de la salle de bain s'abîme avec l'eau, la chasse du wc est pas une chasse compétente, la douchette n'est pas terrible. Bref la télévision est bien, plusieurs chaines a disposition. Le restaurant apparemment n'est pas ouvert le dimanche mais exceptionnellement il était puvert le jour de notre venue. Il etait plein, la cuisine est bonne et le prox est correct pour le restaurant. Je recommande. Par contre il faut l'ouvrir le dimanche soir il y aura toujours du monde.. comprends pas la politique de la maison .. sinon top le restaurant. Le petit dejeuner est au top. On est arrivée vers 9h, il y avait de tout .. je recommande aussi cette partie. Bref malgré les travaux en cours et les années de l'hotel je le recommande et pour ma part j'y reviendrai mais cette fois ci pour essayer la piscine qui a l'air superbe (fermée lors de notre séjour)

Tuvimos muy mala experiencia, no lo recomiendo. Las Instalaciones son muy viejas, y reciben poco mantenimiento, el baño de la habitación pésimamente aseado, pelos y uñas en el suelo, mal olor, aparatos sanitarios manchados y sucios. La ducha con muy poca agua, sin presión. El lavabo no funcionaba bien, se atascaba el wc y el lavabo. La habitación con moqueta manchada y maloliente. Aspecto muy desagradable. El servicio muy deficiente, a excepción de un camarero muy majo que habla español, los demás poco simpáticos y mal presentados. El desayuno carísimo para la poca calidad de la comida, muy mal servido, con pocas condiciones de higiene, moscas en la comida. No lo recomiendo,

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children and it was huge. price and quality was good. The pool is good and big. The dinner was delicious and enough choice. The same applies for the breakfast. The service at the restaurant was not as good as the food. They were not very interested, gave us menu in French instead of English or asking us if we wanted the English one and not all employees spoke English. Hotel needs some remodeling as it is old from the inside (dirty carpets, old paint, etc); For one night i would recomend.

The hotel was very nice and clean , pool was good , very comfortable sitting in the bar area . Also very easy to walk to lots of shops and restaurants by just following the tram line . It’s only about a 10 minute walk and very easy with the water view

Pleasant hotel but, sadly, not the standard you would expect from a 4 * hotel. Our superior room had a bathroom door that was completely rotted and although this was pointed out to the staff they did nothing about it. The bathroom also had a smell and chipped tiles. We had 2 meals at dinner and the food was excellent! Handy location for the airport which was not too far away. Although it was situated in a not particularly attractive area the car park was locked and monitored so your car was safe.
