Overall this is a nice place to stay when visiting Mont Saint Michel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. However, it was a disappointment to have to pay each time we went through the gate on the access road. The hotel should provide a complementary code for the access road as it is very expensive to use. The bus shuttle to Mont Saint Michel was great as it is a long walk.

There is a gate at the entrance to a cluster of hotels. Mecure emailed me a code for the gate that did not work. Our group of 8 arrived in two cars, so we needed two codes, but had only the one code that did not work. One of our party spoke French and had a phone that works in Europe. If he had not been with us, we would still be at that gate. Everything else was great.

My wife and I really enjoyed our three-day stay at the Mercure in late July. The hotel was clean and had a great breakfast in the nearby restaurant. The best feature was the location. The hotel is in a great location, and with easy access (including being at the bus stop) for Mont Saint Michel. The rooms are very big and the bed is comfy, although the layout is odd, given the the number of compartments (e.g., toilet is separated from the bathroom). Walls are pretty thin. MAJOR ISSUE: Upon entry, there were a number of mosquitos in the room. I swatted a few and hoped that would resolve the issue, but they just kept coming (the window was left open). I informed the front desk, and because the hotel was full, they effectively told me I was out of luck. They dropped off some bug spray and told me to leave the room for 45 min to air out the room after it was used. Given it was very late, and there wasn't really any common space, I didn't have anywhere to go. This made for a frustrating experience since I would've expected a nicer 4-star quality hotel to at least fumigate the room and apologize for the experience. Sadly, didn't get a good night sleep, and wish I would've stayed elsewhere.

This hotel was great for the position as it was very near to Mont Saint Michel there were a few areas we were unhappy with no water in room, there were netflix and amazon on the tv but could not use these as the internet was not strong enough, ai did go and ask about this and they advised it did not work, i would not return to this hotel

モン・サン・ミシェルに行くために泊まりました。ホテルはとても落ち着いていて、部屋も安い部屋でしたが広々していて清潔でした。お風呂も溜めてはいることができるし、ボディーソープとしてNUXが置いてあったのが嬉しかったです。フロントの近くに水を吸水できるウォーターサーバーがあったのが助かりました。帰りのTGVが急遽キャンセルされてしまい変更後のTGVが、予定していたバスでは間に合わなかなってしまったので、Uberでレンヌまで行こうとしたのですがなかなかタクシーが捕まらず困っていたらフロントの人がタクシーを呼んでくれました。近くのお土産屋さんも楽しかったですし、レストランでは夜も朝も最高の食事をとることができました。またモン・サン・ミシェルにも行きたいのでその時はこちらに泊まりたいです。

昼ごろホテルに着いたので名前を確認してもらい荷物をあづかってもらいました。3時にチェックインしようとしたら30分待ってくれとのこと。30分後行ったらまだ決まっていなくて、上司らしい人と相談、また待たされてやっと決まりました。が、別棟の団体さん用の一番奥の、予定より3ベットの広い部屋でした。入口がスロープのない棟でトランク運びが大変でした。広い部屋にはしてくれたけど、残念でした。

My wife and I stayed at the Mercure Mont Saint Michel in the Fall. Not only is the location ideal (within sight of Mont Saint Michel and a walk away from the abbey conveniently located at the bus and shuttle stop for both Mont Saint Michel and the town’s train station) but the staff was so helpful when we tried to find out the schedule for buses out of town, printing out info from the Internet. Also, the breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant is the best buffet I have ever had. Fresh Normandy produce… an incredible feast!

Our trip included Paris, Rouen,. Normandy, St. Malo, Rennes and Nantes. This property was definitely the worst hotel of our trip. Run down property, outdated, no elevator, uninformative, and staff was remarkably unresponsive. We were not informed upfront that weI needed a code to access the property. The staff said they expected our call to inform us. Mercure apparently does not care about its reputation. This is unacceptable and will not stay at Mercure ever again. Negative impression, stale property and the staff simply does not care.

4* tourist hotel conveniently situated within walking distance (40 mins) of Mont St Michel, amongst some other hotels. There is a free shuttle to and from the Mont all day. French day visitors use the coach/car park and quickly fill up the shuttle. The parking system is far too complicated and results in queues to exit and pay. Most people stay 1 or 2 nights whilst visiting the Mont which allows early morning or late evening access without the crowds.

Very close to the mont st. Michel. Easy walk from hotel to the mont. it takes a special code to access the hotel zone by car. We did not receive the code beforehand and had to call, but perhaps the miscommunication was due to booking through Expedia site. Not a big deal but my wife had a borderline breakdown because of it. Doesn’t take much for that tho…

Perfect hotel to stay in to visit Mont St Michel! Staff was amazing. Our hotel room looked like it was recently remodeled, it was gorgeous. You do need to make a dinner reservation in advance so beware of that, you can't just show up when you want to eat. Shuttle service to MSM is easy to use, runs every 12 minutes. We went at sunrise & there were very few people at MSM. When we left about 2 hours later, MSM was super crowded. I'd advise to go early.
