Old hotel that has mostly been modernized (bathroom) in easy reach of the enttrance portal of the main street. There's a back door leading stright onto the ramparts as well which is very cool. Very quiet at night at least on the rampart side where our room was. Didn't have breakfast there but did eat at lunch and it was good - attentive and quick service and good quality food, albeit with the usual Mont St. Michel markup, which is around 40% more expensive than on the mainland. A great location to stay overnight and enjoy the Abbey when it opens at 9 a.m..

Beautiful, historic building with all of the modern conveniences and lovely decor. We had a "standard" room, which was very spacious and quiet even with a room looking out on the main street (2nd floor). Stairs are narrow - be prepared to carry your bags - there\'s no room to roll them. Parking is in a large lot on the mainland and a free shuttle takes people to the island. You need to contact the hotel the day before arrival for a code to use the hotel parking. The shuttle drops off along the causeway so you need to carry/roll bags about 400 meters to the door, including over cobblestones.

Hotel was lovely and well positioned. We didn’t realise (and didn’t have) the code we needed to access p3 car park, which was where we needed to park the car to catch the bus to mont st michel, but a quick phone call sorted this out. The room was very small but adequate and had everything we needed. We chose not to eat in their restaurant but could have (we ate at one with a view). Breakfast was lovely, we a choice of continental and nearly full English! Would definitely go back here, the island was so much nicer when it wasn’t so full of people (and we were able to leave our luggage securely until we left).

Auberge Saint-Pierre is a great hotel. Provides two major features that we did not know until arriving there. There is an area in the restaurant only for people staying in the hotel. If the restaurant is full, because it is really good, let them know you are staying in the hotel so they give you a table in the hotel guests area. The second one is a bridge or secret entrance / exit from the hotel to the ramparts. Only opens with the room key. And it is perfect to go outside for a couple of minutes to see and/or hear the high tide coming in.

The parking situation is a bit long and intense but it is part of the adventure. So nice to be on the island even if prices are poste costly. The St. Pierre was an excellent choice. I love the access to the rempart. I loved the two twin beds - ideal when sharing with someone else. The bathtub is a bit high making access difficult particularly for older visitors. Breakfast buffet was xorth it.

Stay here for the experience at mont saint michel. Dont expect luxury. Take a small bag for sure! I would stay here again as i loved walking the ramparts at night. So beautiful and serene!

There is no lift, the hotel checkin is one flight up a winding staircase. Our room was up another level with another winding staircase. The room was comfortable the decor is old world. The bathroom shower was in a tub that was not easy to climb into could be considered hazardous. It was nice to stay on the island and enjoy the peacefulness at night.

The tiny tiny bathroom in the room smelled like urine. Probably the previous guest peed on the floor and the cleaning crew didn't clean it. And the shower water was lukewarm to cold - we couldn't take a shower because it was a cold day and we didn't want to catch a cold after taking a lukewarm/ cold shower.

This was a fabulous hotel. Clean and perfect in the village beneath the Abbey. Everyone was friendly and the full moon was right out the window. It was a magical stay. The hair dryer was overheating and stopping and they immediate ran one up to me. It was a very nice room with everything we needed.

The room was very nice and spacious! It was on street level but we felt safe opening the window for air flow. It was in the annex which is a different building halfway up the island. It had a fridge which was very convenient but sadly no fan and no AC. They held onto our luggage after checkout so that we could explore a little more without dragging it around. Staying on the island was wonderful and the sunrise was breathtaking! We were very happy with our experience.

Don’t expect anything fancy but the rooms are comfortable enough. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot and forceful. The WiFi was spotty, tho. After reading that the restaurants on the island were bad, I opted for spaghetti and it was fine. No complaints. Staying on the island was magical.

Staying on Mont st Michel was a wonderful experience. The room I stayed in while small, was still charming and offered a fantastic view over the ramparts. Do note, the entire building is tiny, with tight staircases and no possibility of an elevator getting installed. Par for the course for anything many centuries old.

The hotel is old and the rooms are very small. The stairs to the rooms are narrow and the hotel is under staffed so don’t expect anyone to help you bringing the luggage up/down. It’s impossible if you’re physically challenged, there’s no lifts or elevators. It’s better to stay in town and take the shuttle bus to the Abby. It’s a much cheaper and better option.

Room was larger then anticipated, bathroom and water pressure was great. Nice and clean. It's quite a hike up from the main reception. It is everything you would expect when staying in a village home from a medieval castle.

We stayed in a 4 bed room with 4 twin beds. Interestingly, it is a two story room with a spiral stairs. Interesting. The room has a water boiler, not a coffee pot. So, bring your instant coffee. There is a cheap and easy to use coffee vending machine outside of the hotel and a little down the street... fyi. It came in handy. Though there are vendors as well. The four twin beds in the room were actually very, very cozy. We all slept well and were happy to put the snorer upstairs in his own area:) Both areas had their own TV, interestingly. Don't order the Mont Saint Michel Omlette downstairs; it is simply gross.. unless you like a platter of foamy eggs, then by all means, order it:) At the end of the day, I would stay here again.

An experience. Many, many stairs to hike, but at 5 AM you appreciate this because it’s quiet compared to lower down where the forklift starts working clearing garbage and delivering supplies. While our room didn’t have any view, it had a little private patio for outdoor eating.

The staff was nice with the exception of the blonde receptionist who was extremely rude and unprofessional. She acted irritated when we first arrived and asked a few questions about check in and what she recommended in the area. The bathroom was dirty but the location was great and the room was small but charming.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating. They gave us preferred treatment in the restaurant since we were staying there which was very nice due to how busy they were. Best advice is to pack light,use a backpack and follow the directions they give you about parking and confirming 48 hours in advance. The walk and the narrow space getting to the hotel is tight. Defiantly stay here again

Our room was cozy, clean and very charming. It looked exactly as it did in the advertised pictures. The wonderful woman at the desk held our luggage until our room was ready and she was really kind and helpful. A wonderful restful stay in an amazing place!

We enjoyed our stay at Auberge Saint Pierre. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The access to the ramparts was very fun! Service in the restaurant was slow but the waiter was working hard to serve a lot of tables. My only concern was a weird smell in the room. Possibly the cleaning products used?

Habitcion limpia y personal muy amable. Llegamos más tarde de la hora de cierre y nos dieron de cenar sin problema. Desayuno muy completo. La ubicación es fantástica porque está a la entrada. Si vais en coche solicitar el código para el parking P3 que está muy cerca del autobús que lleva al Mont

A def must if you visit Mt Saint Michel, Its so much better when the crowds are gone in the evening. Hotel was clean and easy check in. Very comfortable room with private bathroom.

This hotel is centrally located. We had a lovely room that looked out onto the ramparts of the city!! Absolutely lovely. Staff were amazing as well.

Excellent location on the mont. Beautiful historic building on main road (right on the ramparts). Private access to ramparts that gives easy access to walking away from the crowds. Highly recommend an overnight on the mont to explore the streets without the crowds. Early morning reservation to explore the abbey. Easy to park in hotel parking area across the causeway. Nice breakfast.

This hotel is a convenient place to stay if you want to spend the night on Mont St. Michel. They gave us good directions as to where to park the car and how to use the trolley. The breakfast was expensive, but there were many options and it was tasty. We were able to leave our suitcases there after we had checked out and so we were able to go on a tour of the abbey.

Old hotel that has mostly been modernized (bathroom) in easy reach of the enttrance portal of the main street. There's a back door leading stright onto the ramparts as well which is very cool. Very quiet at night at least on the rampart side where our room was. Didn't have breakfast there but did eat at lunch and it was good - attentive and quick service and good quality food, albeit with the usual Mont St. Michel markup, which is around 40% more expensive than on the mainland. A great location to stay overnight and enjoy the Abbey when it opens at 9 a.m..

Let me start by saying ALL the staff we encountered were very helpful and nice. The room we stayed in was small, terribly over-priced but clean and well-appointed. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was really, really bad. Alarm bells go off when you order your meal and everything shows up in under 3 minutes. Fries under a heat lamp too long and a steak that just wasn't right (partially pre-cooked maybe? I don't know). Breakfast the next morning was served in a different room upstairs from the restaurant as this was set up for the hotel guests. HOWEVER, the hotel had also arranged for a tour group that had not stayed at the hotel to have breakfast there as well. This overwhelmed the food supply and temporarily shut down the coffee machine. Whereas all us hotel guests were still waking up and starting our day quietly, this group had been up since 6 and had already been on a tour. They were wide awake and loud. Not blaming them, but the hotel for creating this mess. I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely little property for our visit to Mont St Michel. Our room was cozy and had all that you would need to be comfortable. I loved the access to the ramparts from the hotel itself. We had breakfast one day and it was good. A large group had just left and the poor staff had to refresh everything for the guests. I felt for them as the seemed unstaffed. We also had dinner one night. My husband enjoyed his lobster dinner. My steak was a little fattier than I would like so I would not recommend that option. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again should we return.

The parking situation is a bit long and intense but it is part of the adventure. So nice to be on the island even if prices are poste costly. The St. Pierre was an excellent choice. I love the access to the rempart. I loved the two twin beds - ideal when sharing with someone else. The bathtub is a bit high making access difficult particularly for older visitors. Breakfast buffet was xorth it.

This hotel is quaint and charming and well located near the entrance to the island. The rooms are small but well appointed. It was quiet. The hotel restaurant was very good and I would recommend it over the very over priced, marginal food at the famous La Mere Poulard. Our service was also good.

We enjoyed our stay…one of the highlights of our trip to Europe. Staying overnight on MSM was a great experience. You definitely want to take a smaller overnight bag because you will climb a lot of narrow stairs to your room. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT eat at their restaurant…to say that the food was bad is an understatement. I would definitely recommend staying at the hotel though.

If you don’t expect to use social media or at times, even send text, in other words, if you don’t expect to need Wi-Fi, then this place is good. However, for the price you pay, one does expect the basics like electricity, water, and, nowadays, working Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi was awful. And, I guess, because it’s an island, my personal phone service was spotty. As I do a lot of posts and people expect me to have pictures and video, I was not able to do either. It frustrated me immensely to the point that I would say that the trip was not as enjoyable as it could’ve been. Just be aware of this if you decide to book a room here.
