Hôtel la Croix Blanche

This is one of the few places to stay on Mont Saint-Michel. We decided to splurge because we wanted to experience the island after the crowds were gone. The room was very up-to-date and well thought out. We had a view of the bay and kept the window open all night to stay cool. No cooling otherwise. Also up lots of spiral stairs. We were allowed to leave our backpacks before check in and after check out so we could walk unhindered. Comfy bed, lots of pillows, mini fridge, we didn't try TV. Wonderful shower.

Quaint hotel. No elevator so access to our room on the top floor was by spiral staircase. Room small but fine for our 1-night stay, all to experience MSM lit up at night and in the early morning light. Magical.

This is a quaint hotel but be sure you know which floor your room is on when booking. Ours were fourth floor with a long route to get there and a spiral staircase. Take a backpack for a short stay instead of a suitcase.

The room was comfortable a Shower has enough pressure. Bit noisy when other guests talking in the hallway.Water bottle was in the fridge. After downstairs restaurant closed, 3rd floor stairs had locked 😳 they have another exit but receptionist didn’t tell me that so it was little confused. Back door is easy access to aisle by seaside then you can see Sunrise 🌅 After check-out they kept my luggage while walking around town which is very helpful. お部屋は快適でした。同じフロアのゲストが廊下でお喋りしていると丸聞こえですが…シャワーの圧もあり、シャンプー兼ボティソープのボトル、ヘアドライヤーが備え付けてあります。コーヒーとディカフェ，紅茶と粉のクリームと電気湯沸器、ミニ冷蔵庫にお水のボトルが入ってました。 5階のお部屋でしたが下のレストランが終了すると3階部分の階段に鍵が掛けられてしまうのですがチェックイン時に説明が無かったので一瞬戸惑いました。3階に裏口があり、そこから海側の道に出る事が出来ます。その道から見上げると修道院が見えます。明け方この裏口から海側に出るとサンライズが見られるので泊まる価値はあると思います。 正面の入口からも裏面の出入り口も狭く急な階段なので、お子様連れやご高齢の方には大変かもしれません。 チェックインはラ･クロワ•ブランシェでは無く、少し下のAuberge Saint-Pierreのレセプションでします。荷物を預かってもらうのも此の場所になります。 着いたらまずは案内所に行って無料の地図(日本後版有り)をもらってこのホテルに行来たいんだけどと言うと丁寧に説明してもらえるので利用してみて下さい。

Very old hotel. No elevator and you have to go up to a spiral narrow stairs. If you check in past 6 pm, you’ll have to check in with the sister hotel Auberg St Pierre. So many stairs to take from there. Don’t bring any luggage at all. Just backpack. Also not suitable for kids.

Perfect place to stay in Mont Saint Michelle! Staff is friendly and helpful. Yes there are a lot of stairs and the rooms are small but truly very comfortable. I would not bring a suitcase . Just a backpack.

Séjour très décevant car le site de réservation ne précise pas que les chambres sont en étage sans ascenseur. Nous avons dû monter 99 marches et en descendre 18 pour accéder à la chambre. Certes l’hôtel envoie un mel pour préciser étages et sans ascenseur mais seulement une fois la réservation payée. La chambre était petite et vieillotte, non conforme à celle du site. Le personnel de l’accueil n’est pas aimable. Le prix est pourtant très élevé !

As long as you have the right expectations, this hotel and its rooms will be fine for an overnight stay. Yes, you need to go up a narrow staircase, yes, the rooms are pretty small. But this is an old building and it served us fine. The shower has surprisingly good pressure and it was clean. They communicated well and also let us stash our bags after checkout so we can roam without our bags.(we only had one large backpack) Just wish we had a view and they gave at least a few bottles of complimentary water (there were 3 in the refrigerator but weren't complimentary)! :)

Si l’on veut dormir au Mont-Saint-Michel on est sans doute obligé d’en passer par là. L’établissement se dit trois-étoiles, il n’y a pas de réception ouverte après 18h30, et cee matin À 11h30 l’hôtel était toujours fermé ;pour sortir le soir on est obligé de faire un détour et passer par un hôtel voisin, pour rentrer dans sa chambre même combat. Le petit déjeuner se fait dans un hôtel voisin mais pour y accéder il faut avoir une carte de l’hôtel et comme on n’est pas client de cet hôtel on a pas de carte et donc il faut se débrouiller. . l’hôtel est fermé le matin jus qu à au moins 11h et il a fallu également passer par l’hôtel voisin pour sortir le chemin est un parcours du combattant, surtout avec des bagages. Encore plus grave en cas de problème d’incendie par exemple, on se trouve enfermé dans l’hôtel je n’ai vu aucune issue de secours, et la sortie qu’on nous propose a un escalier en bois Cette hôtel réclame la catégorie de trois étoiles, et applique donc des prix en conséquence : plus de 270€ la chambre, sans petit déjeuner petit déjeuner par personne 18 € Se moquer des clients de la sorte c’est vraiment n’importe quoi, j’ai eu honte d’être français et que l’on propose un tel service aux voyageurs en général

Hotel carinissimo su Mont Saint Michel Unico grosso neo : non condizionato per cui si moriva dal caldo tra l’ altro abbiamo avuto una camera nel puano sottotetto per cui abbiamo tentato di dormire con la finestra aperta ma di sera rumore delle persone, numerosissime, di passaggio. Di notte rumore dei ristoratori che gia dalle 4.30 si organizzano con lo stoccaggio merce. Inoltre , è bene rimarcare , come l’ hotel stesso sottolinea alla prenotazione che non ci sono ascensori , ma non solo, c’ è una scala a chiocciola molto stretta per cui limitare al massimo i bagagli. Pero si ha una vista stupenda sull’abbazia.

世界遺産の中なので古い建物ですが、よくメンテナンスされていて、ホテルとしては充分でした。

Arrived at Mont St. Michel at around 10pm, we called twice to get the code to lift the gate in the parking area on the main land as the first code given didn't work. We walked in with just small backpacks and were shown our room. The rooms were clean and nice but nothing special. Our room was bayview, on the top floor. We room was hot when we arrived because it was a warm day and the windows were all closed. It didn't take long to cool down from the ocean breeze once the windows were opened. We have a great nights sleep except the annoying seagulls woke us up at the crack of dawn. The empty streets of MSM at 6:30am are worth every penny. We'd stay again if we ever went back.

Cute little hotel on Mont St Michel. Clean, bigger than expected, and very comfy beds. The shower had a waterfall shower head which was amazing. The staff was wonderful! Very nice!

Hôtel quelconque situé dans un bâtiment avec un restaurant où il n’y a pas d’aération donc une odeur de cuisine (graillon) pas du tout agréable dans la chambre et le couloir donc je ne recommande pas du tout cet endroit

Staff very professional. Hotel is clean. Not a fancy hotel but certainly a decent place to stay. I would stay there again.

We had a great view of the Abbey at Mont St Michel directly out our window. I liked that the toilet and shower were in separate rooms. The hotel staff seemed a little surprised when I asked for additional towels. One towel looked like it had dried bird poop on it. Going to a different property to check out was different. Overall, I loved the experience of being on the rock for the night. If you're looking for modern conveniences and fancy digs, you won't find it here and that's fine. The view and history were worth it.

Although Mont St Michel was experiencing a heat wave, we were only offered a tiny fan to provide any relief. It was a clip-on fan. The west-facing room was miserable. I know they can’t control the weather but do better by offering something more than a clip on fan that doesn’t stay upright and is covered in some sort of grease. The shower was the best thing about the room.

Fantastic location! Staying on the island allows for uncongested enjoyment of the village before 9:00 am and after 8:00 pm. View of Saint Michel was phenomenal from the room window. Restaurant was open late. Close to La Mere Poulard

Wonderful location with views of the abbey and the ocean. Rooms are small but have modern amenities considering the hotel is located in a historical building. I recommend staying two nights so you can get up before the crowds flock in, stay up later to wander the streets after the crowds begin to dissipate, and have an afternoon retreat to put your feet up when the crowds are at their peak. Loved our stay and will dream about returning.

Good choice if you want to overnight on the island. Just expect to get your exercise from the many stairs to reach your room. Once you get there, the room is nice…and ours had a view of the abbey. Note also that the restaurant (for Auberge Saint Pierre) gives priority to hotel guests.

The room met the needs for 3 people although it was extremely small. However, it was a great location.

まず場所がとにかくわかりにくく現地の人に聞いてきっちりとした返答も返ってきません。 いざ着いたとなっても現地スタッフも対応も良くなく英語が基本通じませんでした。 一階がレストランになっており宿泊が二階から五階までになるのですが螺旋階段になっておりキャリーバックを持って行かれる方はまずやめた方がいいです。 スタッフも手伝いしてくれることもなく狭い空間を汗だくになりながら運ぶことになります。 唯一良かったのは景色です。 景色は五階に泊まったのですがザ・モンサンミッシェル！って感じでした。

Staff were very good and always accommodating. Position absolutely ideal with a panoramic view over the bay. We had no problems whatsoever.

This was a great room for a night's stay. Very comfortable, a bit small but we loved the view and listening to the night sounds. Be prepared for stairs and you have to remember how to get back to your room. But the staff person was great and we could even store our luggage after we checked out so we could explore.

Wonderful location!

Amazing cozy hotel. We asked for a room with ocean view, and the view from our window was really amazing. Located very centraly almost at the entrance of Mt St Michel. The room was quite spacious, comfy beds and nice bathroom-shawer. Clean and comfortable. We did enjoy our one night stay.

Stunning view from the room and area around was amazing. Mont Saint-Michel explains everything. Maybe little bit overpriced but worth to visit and stay for one night when all tourists are gone and basically you got whole island for yourself. Love it.

Staff were excellent. Lots of stairs. All noises and voices from the creaky stairs to hallway conversations can be heard in each room - and presumably vice versa. But the place was otherwise excellent. My one complaint, I chose the hotel for the restaurant - which was closed! (Sigh)

This hotel can get away with murder because of its location. No bellmen so you have to get your luggage up five stories of stairs- very treacherous stairs. Mediocre expensive breakfast in adjacent hotel so don’t believe the photos in the listing. Mont Saint Michel is overrated. There are much better chateaus elsewhere and much better food. Avoid the place.

I will start by saying, my wife and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. The price is high for the room, but the experience of staying on the wildly crowded island overnight when you can wonder around completely isolated is well worth it. But there are some small things to note. Pick the view of the abbey if you can. It was amazing to watch as the sunset and the lights came on from our room window. Not much to look at on the water side that you haven’t already seen. Restaurant and desk was randomly closed it seemed, but the hotel next door had one and handled everything. The restaurant bit seems trivial but the island shuts down early and having a spot to eat or drink with your lodging would’ve been great. The rooms are a little old but are clean, and you can’t complain too much when visiting a 1300 year old castle. The bed wasn’t amazing but it was doable for a night. Overall, this was one of our favorite parts of our France trip and a stay on the island at La Croix Blanche on Mont St-Michel was a great experience. 8/10

Alojamiento muy silencioso, colchon comodo y personal agradable. Peecio alto pero en linea con los alojamientos similares dentro del monte saint michel. Desayuno 18€ por persona, evidentemente no lo cogimos por lo caro que era y enfrente desayunamos por 14€ (2 cafes, 1 croasant y 1 crep)
