the goods: the Graal hotel is in a great location with a great view and the staff and breakfast are great too the bads: rediculous limitations on their pool use only being open form 9-6pm and you have to have a hair cap to swim in it, like really? Also, the ventilation in the rooms isn't that great as the sheets feel like they are damp and cold from the humidity

Everything seems so nice. Ravello is a really nice small town up in the mountain. Hotel staffs are very helpful and so kind. However, pool wasn't so clean so if you have skin troubles advice to not use it. Also double beds are combination of two single bed which causes uncomfort in the middle of the bed. Generally it was nice. The view was mesmerizing, restaurant is top class. Parking is charged 20euro by night from hotel garage.

Nice hotel in a great location. Pool is great, and the restaurant is top notch. The rooms were very basic though. Our shower was a tiny 3’ x 3’ box with a shower head that barely sprayed any water. Not very much storage space. Service was also very good. Just adjust your room expectations and you’ll have a good time.

Man könnte dem Gast entgegen kommen. - offens Buffet, für vegetarier unpraktisch. - Es war ein veraltetes Hotel. - Die Klimaanlage muss man Manuel mit einem Drehschalter bedienen und kann man nicht mal auf AUTO stellen. - Die Schalter für die Lichter warfen komisch. z.B. für das Bad war eins von draussen und eins von drinnen. 50/50. - Wenn am am Pool ist und wenn man von der Bar essen bestellt, bekommt man es nach 30-60min. - Erst nach dem 5 Tag wird man hingewiessen, das man ein Bornet für das Schwimmen im Pool tragen soll. Vorher hat sich niemand beschwert.

Tolles Hotel mit stilvollem Retro-Charakter. Das Hotel ist spektakulär gelegen mit fantastischem Ausblick auf die Amalfiküste. Die Zimmer sind einfach und stilvoll, und haben eine kleinen Balkon mit Blick auf die Küste. Unser Bad, vor allem die Dusche, würde ein Update gut vertragen. Der Pool und die Dachterrasse waren bei unserem Besuch (Anfang April) noch nicht geöffnet, sind aber sicherlich Highlights dieses Hotel. So wie das Früstück, das von ausgezeichneter Auswahl und Qualität war. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Dejligt ophold på skønt hotel med smuk udsigt til bjerge og havet fra pool, restaurant og vores værelses balkon. Rent værelse og ren pool. Morgenmad var rigtig dejlig varieret og med italienske islæt og friskpresset juice og altid sødt og smilende personale på stedet:) 5-10 min gang fra Ravellos hyggelige centrum. parkering er dyrt. Lidt nedslidt på værelse i den ældre afdeling- og brusebad på vores værelse var i et højt badekar - kan være et problem for ældre mennesker med ind og udstigningen. Vi anbefaler dette rolige og smukt beliggende hotel🙏

The staff were excellent and helpful. I was disappointed in the room. The bathroom was horrible with no shower head and there was mold around the bathtub. I got attacked by mosquitos that were hanging around in the bathroom. Overall it was a great stay. Location was awesome. Just wish the rooms weren’t outdated.

A lovely European-inspired hotel with lots of charm and character. Wonderful buffet breakfast spread and pool area. Location is central for Ravello and close walking distance to shops/restaurants and the middle of town. The hotel has been renovated, our room was one of the older rooms. Very generously proportioned with an incredible coastal view from the balcony. The bathroom is dated (no shower) and there was a strong-mould smell because of poor ventilation. All in all a positive experience and would come back again.

Although the views from hotel were phenomenal, and the service was good, the rooms were absolutely atrocious. We had black mold in our bathroom all over the walls, the towels were worn out and had holes in them, the bed was super uncomfortable, and the room overall looked like it hadnt been updated in 50 years. Also, it was a 50 euro cab ride for 10-15 mins to get to the hotel from the ferry…and the town itself is very sleep with almost nothing to do. I’d recommend instead a day trip to Ravello, but do not stay here and especially not at this hotel. Instead maybe come here for a drink and enjoy the view. That’s it.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel which was a bit like stepping back in time with lots of quirky bits and bobs which all added to its unique character. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the ladies on breakfast. The hotel was super clean and tidy. However the ace up the sleeve of this hotel is its position and views. Hands down the view from our bedroom balcony was the best we’ve ever had. It was breathtaking!!! This view can also been seen from the pool and restaurant, there really is no bad spot!! Overall we would definitely recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Ravello.

The room was spotless. Everything was great - the view was spectacular from our room. We loved this hotel. It was close to Ravello Square and also very accessible to the other Amalfi towns. The staff members were excellent. Francesca was warm and friendly. She always had a smile to greet you. Five stars to Hotel Graal! Also, they arranged for a taxi to Napoli for us. The driver, Gino, was excellent. He took his time on the many curvy roads and was a true tour guide.

The hotel is very nice. Close to the main town in Ravello. We loved our room and our view from the terrace. The complimentary breakfast was very good. My only complaints are that we had a lot of ants in our rooms, however when we let the staff did eradicate them completely as soon as we let them know. Also, when we checked in we found the front desk staff to be very unwelcoming. We weren't even acknowledged. This improved as time went on. In the end, we would recommend the hotel Graal.

My husband and I were in Ravello for a wedding and satyed at Graal. It was wonderfully located, room was comfortable and had great breakfast. I will say the bathroom needs updating as there was some mould inbetween the grout and no where to leave your soap in the shower in the standard room. Also the first couple nights our ac was not working properly but we told the front desk and it seemed to resolve after that!

Hotel Graal is a nice hotel, a short distance downhill from the town center. My room was small but nice. (room 507) I had a great view but no balcony. The pool was lovely and the bar had live music, which was a plus. The breakfast is unbelievable. It was a large spread and delicious. This was a definite bonus! I would stay here again!

I have mixed feelings about Graal. Good stuff - Amazing location and views. Interesting art deco architecture which I love. Pool with stunning views and a delicious breakfast. Room had a small terrace with the same incredible views. Bad stuff - Very old unrefurbished room. Lights didn’t work, sink and shower draining slowly, generally a bit shabby. Our room didn’t have a TV! And there were no spares available or spare rooms to swap to. Also no tea coffee making facilities and ordering a single coffee to the room cost 9 euros. The rooms are a 2 star standard but the good points above go some way to balance it out. There are refurbished rooms available at a higher price which look much better. Overall it’s an ok place let down by the old rooms. I didn’t feel like I got good value here.

Beautiful view and very friendly and helpful staff. Laura was so wonderfully helpful. The bed was very uncomfortable and clearly older. Bed spread was torn, and no outlets near the bed. Had to rearrange the room so that my sleep medical devise could be plugged in. Shower was incredibly small. Dining room was very small and food very pricey. No open patio yet in spite of beautiful weather.

We loved our four night stay at the Hotel Graal. Our room (executive) was newly refurbished with fabulous views of the coastline from a large sliding door/juliette balcony. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The swimming pool was lovely and very clean. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Ravello with everything just a few minutes’ walk away and the bus stop for buses to amalfi is just up the road. We would highly recommend a stay here.

In großen und ganzen ist es ein gutes Hotel. Man merkt aber, dass das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und renovierungsvedürftig ist. Klimaanlage ist leider zu laut und man kann Sie nur eingeschränkt einstellen. Betten waren leider nicht sehr gemütlich. Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr sehr sehr gut.

What we didn't like 1. The air conditioning in the room with a sea view was noisy i had to sleep with headphones,i did notify the reception they said they would check but no action was taken 2.The parking at the hotel,I was not informed of the cost I woke up at the end with a bill of 100 euros for 5 nights,not bothered to give the money but the logic is to inform about cost,maybe some people don't want to pay. 3.Swim in the pool, you are allowed only wearing a helmet for hair that if they give you at the end of the stay you pay for it.No problem paying,but to be notified would be a gesture of professionalism 4.We were stuck in the elevator for about 30 sec.When we said to them a women told us that this is what happens when the fire alarm goes,it did go off 3 times.So if you are in the elevator and maybe fire you remain stuck there.A man came with us joking if we need some oxygen masks in the elevator with us, when i said that the elevator had no verification date,he changed the subject.Bad joke in such a TIME 5.My husband is a morning person and went to the hotel lounge at the reception no one but a man who I assume was in charge of the reception was sleeping on the couch and woke up disturbed and asked who he was and what he was doing there.When you say we have a reception 24/7 you don't sleep and you find yourself with a client and you ask what is he looking for when the problem is why are you sleeping during work. What we did like 1.View and food was good

My room was excellent, the food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the staff beyond wonderful. The proprietor, Ranieri, is always around, always friendly, always willing to take a minute to chat. The staff in the breakfast dining room (which is charming) is sweet and attentive. Special kudos to, Francesca at the front desk who is an absolute delight and super helpful and knowledgeable. And the bartender, Vittorio, became like a brother to me! I can't say enough about my four days at the Graal - I will treasure the memories always!

The room was spotless. Everything was great - the view was spectacular from our room. We loved this hotel. It was close to Ravello Square and also very accessible to the other Amalfi towns. The staff members were excellent. Francesca was warm and friendly. She always had a smile to greet you. Five stars to Hotel Graal! Also, they arranged for a taxi to Napoli for us. The hotel is very nice. Close to the main town in Ravello. We loved our room and our view from the terrace. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Its a beautiful place with an amazing view of the Amalfi coast. The hotel is easily accessible by car and there are buses available galore to get to Amalfi. The rooms are awesome and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Staying in Amalfi or Positano can we quite painful with all the luggage carrying through tonnes of stairs. Ravello is a great location as it gives you the necessary peace and quiet required for a vacation. I highly recommend Graal to anyone visiting the coast. You will enjoy it.

This was by far an excellent choice for us! We entered at street level with no steps, and the facility had an elevator. Breakfast was amazing, and the view from our balcony was unbeatable. It was right by the taxi and bus stand and right around the corner from the main square. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Ravello or Almalfi coast area.

We did one night in Ravello and hotel was perfect for our stay and we even considered extending our stay because we enjoyed the area so much. The hotel is 5 min walk from where the bus drops you off in town. It is quite and has a beautiful view overlooking the coast line. The town of Ravello is so quaint and away from hustle bustle of all cruisers and people coming to see amalfi coast line of positano and amalfi. We ate at the hotel and had an excellent meal which notmally we dont eat where we stay. Highly recommend both hotel and the town!

Very convenient location, close to the centre of Ravello. Fantastic views towards Salerno. Great food, breakfast choice was fantastic. We ate once in the restaurant in the evening and it was the best meal we had all week and there are some great restaurants in Ravello. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels, really friendly staff and the pool was great. Pool has a nice bar / food point. Staff took time to ensure everything was ok with our stay. We had very special memories of our 1st visit to this hotel on our honeymoon and we have equally special memories following our latest visit 25 yrs later. Thanks Ranieri to you and your fantastic team at Hotel Graal

Gamle interiør, kan have været et 4 stjernet hotel, men ikke længere. Deres restaurant til aftensmaden var så skuffende, både service og maden. Vi bestilte en salat (mix), de kom bare med nogle salat blade som var visnet og 2 stykker revet gulerod i… senest plus ved restauranten er udsigten, intet andet.
