Loved the vibe. Loved the decor. The bedroom was a good size and the hotel provided free drinks and some snacks, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was awesome, beautiful and lovely and large. Although the bedroom was near the buzz of the bar, the noise had stopped by around 10 pm and it didn’t cause any issues.

The room is surprisingly quiet given the location, but be aware that inevitably some noise from the bar and music downstairs will be heard, bring earplugs if this will be a problem. Very handy location for the bus terminal across the road.

An impressively maintained old hotel. Room was spacious with attractive idiosyncratic light fittings. Bathroom with 2 sinks, large bath and shower recess was very well maintained. Although the bar was busy at the time of my arrivial the staff greeted me pleasantly, and was escorted to the room assigned, primarily to explain the security features of the accommodation area, and verandah.

Great central location, just 1 street from the Central Market and 2 blocks from the tram and main street. Had a beer and steak in the pub/restaurant downstairs and they were also excellent. I love everything about this Hotel. The service is excellent, the food is outstanding, the bathrooms are huge and ultra clean, the beds are comfortable, the water pressure is unbelievable and there is even leadlight windows in the rooms. Not to mention the free minibar. I highly recommend this beautiful old pub!

The room was just beautiful, just like the photo online. Amenities were great, Staff waited for us to arrive late as our flight did not get into Adelaide until 10:05pm Would highly recommend. We would certainly stay there again!!
