私が毎年のように訪れているアムステルダムで一番好きな、アムステルダム中央駅近くのダムラックという場所から110歩の距離。 3人がマックス、スーツケースがあれば1人だけとなりますが、エレベーターがあり4階までは行けます。 私の部屋は3階のエレベーター横のダブルベットの部屋。三角形に近い部屋で、デスクもトイレも狭いスペースにあります。3階ですが、Wifiはサクサクつながりました。 スーツケースは広げられ、クローゼットもあり、シャワーも熱いお湯がすぐでますし、トイレットペーパーも4個も置いてくれていて、掃除もいつも綺麗にしてくれていました。 他の部屋はわかりませんが、通りに面した部屋のため、早朝以外はずーっとうるさいので耳栓、ドライヤーとポットはないので必要な人はドライヤーとポットを持参必須です。 反対側の建物からは丸見えなので滞在中はずっとカーテンをしていましたが、カーテンをしなければ明るい光は入ってきます。 備え付けは液体ソープと、プラスチックのコップだけでした。足拭きマットもありません。 パン3種類、ハム2種類、ゆで卵、ヨーグルト、フルーツポンチの朝食が7時半から10時半の間、急な階段を降りた地下で提供されていました。 フロントの方もとても親切でした。 キンプトン、アベニューの次の選択肢になるホテルとなりました。

The hotel and staff were great. Very friendly. We were allowed to leave out bags before and after checking in and out. The room we had faced the street and was quite small (read 'tight'), but serviceable. Our only complaint would be that when we were there they were renovating the front of the building so we had scaffolding outside our window, with the occasional worker walking by. A temporary situation though I would think. If we return to Amsterdam and need a hotel right in the city center we would book again.

This hotel was clean and comfortable and we felt safe inside the entire time. The room was pretty spacious and the bathroom had a shower enclosure, which seems to be pretty rare in older properties. It even had a lift! Luggage storage was convenient and free. The only thing to look out for is that if you need a well-lit room or a property that’s very quiet, you might want to look elsewhere. Even with every single light in the room on, it was very dark. There wasn’t a party vibe in the hotel at all but you could hear people as they walked by your room talking and the floor was a bit creaky and shaky. It didn’t cause a problem for us, but if you need silence, it might not work for you. Otherwise, a comfortable, pleasant stay. Take note that this property is very close to the train station, but it is also in the red light district with some interesting vibes and “scenery” as well as some family unfriendly shops.

Towels changed daily and room serviced daily which was a plus. Large Breakfast Room in the basement, with the usual bread rolls, jams, cheeses and hams. Juice and coffee or tea (from a machine). For a Dutch hotel in Amsterdam city centre it's generally good value. Fine for a few nights, but would really benefit from a redecoration.

This is a very clean budget hotel with the most friendly and helpful front desk staff. Good beds, sheets & pillows. Blow dryers available when you ask. Updates done in rooms with new bathrooms. Our room was quiet, (top floor at the back). Great location to restaurants and walkable from Amsterdam Central. Very tiny elevator and you need to be able to do stairs ( breakfast downstairs). The real gem of this old hotel besides location is STAFF! Plus they clean your room daily. We stayed in October so did not need air conditioning and the window opened, so lots of fresh air.

This room was very strange. The location is amazing. I booked it because it has an elevator. My husband has mobility issues. I did not expect the room would be on the 4th floor, then up a small landing - which is all OK, then we open the door and it's a ladder up into a room. It has obviously been renovated many times. The carpet is gross, the bathtub was lovely but the shower was just a nozzle out of the ceiling and water went everywhere. The room was damp so windows had to be open and it was noisy almost 24 hours a day. The bedding was very basic and cheap. I felt like it was not very clean or sophisticated. It was sure an interesting experience!

Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig: Haare im Bad, Staubmäuse auf dem Deckenventilator und dreckiger Teppich sind Beispiele. Das schlimmste: Fenster sind nicht zu öffnen, kein Tageslicht, keine frische Luft. Dass die Lüftung auch nicht funktionierte habe ich mehrfach an der Rezeption (mündlich & schriftlich) gemeldet - ohne Reaktion. Das einzig positive: die Lage, mitten in der Altstadt nur ein paar Minuten von Centraal Station.

Hotel is centrally located, very close to the Old Town and the main train station. Room was a bit dated, but bathroom was completely renovated. I got a room in the back so it was not too noisy, but the street in front is one of the busiest of Amsterdam.

Our visit to Amsterdam was short, we loved the central location of the hotel, very close to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Our triple bed room was basic with not too many facilities, only a wardrobe, tv, telephone, hand towels, bath towels and plastic cups. The bathroom was small and after we had a shower, we had a flooding problem which could only be rectified after we left. The staff were empathetic to our situation, but we were checking out at 11am, so not much else they could do. Breakfast was continental with no pastries, only bread, but they did have a lovely coffee machine with various coffee options. The staff were very pleasant. Thank you.
Our visit to Amsterdam was short, we loved the central location of the hotel, very close to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Our triple bed room was basic with not too many facilities, only a wardrobe, tv, telephone, hand towels, bath towels and plastic cups. The bathroom was small and after we had a shower, we had a flooding problem which could only be rectified after we left. The staff were empathetic to our situation, but we were checking out at 11am, so not much else they could do. Breakfast was continental with no pastries, only bread, but they did have a lovely coffee machine with various coffee options. The staff were very pleasant. Thank you.

We stayed in the "penthouse" suite that has narrow horizontal windows which made it almost impossible to see out. There is also a unique stairway/ladder to get up into the room which made it a little challenging for my wife who has mobility issues. Other than that, it's a very cool/old hotel and the staff were always great to deal with. A little noisy in the evenning, but this is Amsterdam.

Great location, clean but unfortunately we were onthe street side for 3 nights. Was load but didn't really bother us (earplugs for us) but the Friday the street noise lasted past the usual midnight until 4:30pm. So if they give you a room at the front request a change unless you are one of the ones partying lat into the evening.

The hotel and staff were great. Very friendly. We were allowed to leave out bags before and after checking in and out. The room we had faced the street and was quite small (read 'tight'), but serviceable. Our only complaint would be that when we were there they were renovating the front of the building so we had scaffolding outside our window, with the occasional worker walking by. A temporary situation though I would think. If we return to Amsterdam and need a hotel right in the city center we would book again.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay at Hotel de Koopermoolen. The staff are very friendly. The area is right near the red light district, which is a busy and noisy part of downtown Amsterdam, but we had zero noise in our room. You have to leave your room key with the front staff whenever you leave, but it's not a problem because it is staffed 24/7. The breakfast was also decent. The man who cooks the eggs knows what he is doing. It's about a 5m walk from Centraal station, so it's easy to get around anywhere in the Netherlands. Would definitely stay again.

A very conveniently located hotel, about 5 minutes walk from the main railway station, though it's on a small busy street (with many decent places to eat), just on the edge of the Red Light District in one direction, but close to the main streets in the other direction (near station), with many trams to get to all the key places around the city. Café da manhã simples mas ótimo para já sair pronto para curtir o dia além de já estar incluso no valor da hospedagem. Breakfast had a good selection. Commendations to the wonderful young woman who kept smiling with all the young people who came to breakfast at the same time. Hotel is older style and lift tiny. Staff happy to give advice and assist when asked for help.

The location was perfect right in the middle of the city only a short walk away from the train station. The room didn’t match the pictures. We were on a lower level so there was little ambient light. The beds and pillows left much to be desired. The breakfast offerings were relatively light.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, tho keep in mind budget European hotel rooms in old buildings are very small… quaint.
