Lovely clean modern Hotel . Rooms well maintained by friendly staff with good quiet air conditioning . Reception staff were very helpful and minimal queues . The buffet breakfast was delicious and varied and served in a bright room with choice of indoor or outdoor seating . Attentive serving staff and everything fresh and plentiful . The icing on the a cake was the beautiful pool and bar overlooking the lake and the majestic mountains and islands around it . The roof top bar had wonderful views although sometime little choice of seating / position for residents as many pre-booked groups visiting the hotel . Lovely G and T though !! Overall I have no complaints and enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing few days there .

We spent 5 delightful nights at the hotel. It was perfect in every respect. The room was spacious, well designed and had an amazing view of the lake and the town. The hotel is kept meticulously clean. The staff are always on hand to help with anything and nothing is too much.

We stayed in the annexe on the top floor with a beautiful view of the gardens. The room was enormous! Fantastically well appointed, free WiFi, spotlessly clean and hi spec furnishings and bathroom. Staff were lovely, particularly at the bar and in the breakfast room. Breakfast buffet was very good with a huge variety of choice.

Fijn verblijf gehad. Locatie is top en de Skybar en het zwembad zijn absoluut fantastisch. Alleen jammer dat in de hoeken vd kamer niet wordt schoongemaakt. Dat moet beter voor de prijs die je betaalt.

Hotel is in a nice location, and room is well appointed and clean. However, beside the hotel is a building field with a huge garbage dumping cart, so the side lake view for superior room is mostly ruined; a lot of group tourists during our stay, hence a bit crowded in public areas.

Great location, right on the lake with its own private pool, pier and lake access. Modern design which is a contrast to the surrounding Italian style properties. Breakfast was great; huge selection, great quality and ability to eat in the garden with lake views. With the exception of the reception staff, pool guy (forgot his name) and the managers in the restaurant the rest of the staff lacked 4 star service. Service on the roof top bar was slow and the staff that were around didn’t smile or engage well. Maybe it was just hot… Our room was small and even smaller when we had an extra bed put in it. I know this was our choice, but to be then charged 40 Euro per night for the privilege was not a pleasant surprise at the end. This wasn’t hugely clear through Expedia when i booked. Overall a great stay, but a few refinements would have made it a better value stay and better 4 star experience.

La Palma was the perfect stay for Stresa. The lake view room balcony could not be beat. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The Sky Bar was a wonderful way to spend an early evening for drinks and the hotel is centrally located with a great breakfast. Highly recommend and would stay again!

We were very lucky with the weather!! It was perfect! Our room was on the third floor in the corner, we had beautiful views from the side but with he lake and island. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very nice. Breakfast is all what I would ask for. Service is great. Dinner is good. The menu is too small. All I ask for next time is cattle for tea in the room. I will come back if I can.

Tolles Hotel, gute Lage. Unser Zimmer befand sich in der 6. Etage, die leider sehr lärmig war wegen der darüber liegenden Skybar. Dauern hörte man die Musik und gepolter.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Mängel die ich beanstandet habe, zb ein kaputter Duschschlauch, wurden umgehend behoben. Das Frühstück ist zwar reichhaltig, hier würde ich mir am warmen buffet aber mehr Auswahl wünschen. Pilze oder Bohnen.. oder omlett das Einzelzimmer war zwar klein aber hatte dennoch ein Doppelbett. Die Poolbereiche sind gepflegt. Im ganzen ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

What a fabulous hotel! A quiet and relaxing oasis on a beautiful lake. And the staff, particularly Julia at the front desk are extremely welcoming and helpful!!!! Loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and looking at lake or from sky view lounge on roof!!

My wife and I celebrated a special anniversary at Hotel La Palma. We booked a Junior Suite with a wrap around terrace that had a spectacular lake view. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and a relaxing environment. The staff is friendly and professional. Special thanks to front desk reception member, Debora, who was so helpful when our flight home was cancelled.

We loved our stay here! Everything was well kept and clean. The views from the rooftop bar were amazing. Likewise, the drinks and service! The staff went above and beyond to provide recommendations and helped my fiancé with arranging flowers/wine for his proposal. We couldn't of picked a better place to stay!

We had a 5 night stay at this wonderful hotel and everything was absolutely perfect. The location is amazing overlooking the Lake with a short walk into the town. There was a plentiful choice for breakfast and parking is also available. A very enjoyable holiday!

If you value beauty and tranquility then this is your place. Hotel La Palma was gorgeous. The staff were great and friendly. The location was perfect, you are able to see the coastline and the mountains. It is conveniently located near the train station so if you’d like to go into a busier area you have that option. My accommodation included complementary breakfast and it was so good! It had a lot to offer which was nice.
