We have been to Regina Palace for the third time. It’s a lovely place. Well situated and friendly staff. The reason for the 4 stars is that parking used to be free and is now 20 eur per night.

This hotel is absolutely stunning , everything you would imagine from a 5 star resort , the spa and pool area is incredible , with the sensory caves, jacuzzi beds in the pool, sensory showers etc. The staff could not do more, everything is run with complete precision.

Just spent three nights in this beautiful hotel, visually stunning with lovely gardens and a pool. It’s perfectly located for. 4 minute stroll into Stresa town centre for lots of bars and restaurants. You can catch a ferry to the Borromean Islands just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was awesome, lots of choice and a beautiful setting.

Would not recommend. The hotel is dog friendly but there seems to be no weight or size limit or quantities of dogs per room. Because it’s an old hotel the draperies and rugs smell like dog. I love dogs but this was more like a daycare for dogs. Regular water is not easily available. Staff is rude and nowhere to be found. Not a friendly environment.

Das zugeteilte Zimmer hatte einen starken Modergeruch, auch langes Lüften nutzte nichts. Nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten, bekamen wir ein besseres Zimmer, es war verstaubt und müsste mal gründlich gereinigt werden. Die Sanitäreinrichtungen im Bad sind schmuddlig, funktionieren nicht richtig und müssten komplett erneuert werden. Die Flure sind eng und dunkel. Man fühlt sich nicht wohl, es gab lange Wartezeiten bein Einchecken und am Aufzug. Das Hotel lebt von Reisegruppen, die durchgeschleust werden, dadurch entsteht viel Unruhe. Für Individualreisende nicht zu empfehlen.

El hotel está muy bien, aunque necesitaría una reforma general, está bastante desgastado. En el cuarto de baño he echado de menos un espejo de maquillaje, ya que debido a la falta de ventilación el espejo grande se empaña después de cada ducha. En la bañera falta una barra de agarre - es fácil patinar al ser bastante alta.

Un hotel que tuvo su momento en el siglo pasado. Se nota que le falta que le metan la mano a gritos. El personal de recepción un desastre, el de limpieza no se diga. no lavaban ni los vasos y menos te ponían la colcha en la cama, la cual dejaban tirada, sin doblar..El internet funciona pésimo..las estrellas que dicen tener están en el firmamento !

Albergo non recente ma ben tenuto, personale gentile e disponibile, prima colazione buona, varia ed abbondante. La struttura è al centro sul lungolago di Stresa. Molto comoda. Tre difetti, non piccoli per me: il letto della mia stanza doveva avere la rete difettosa, il che lo rendeva praticamente concavo. Il bagno era minuscolo e non agevole da usare. Infine il Wi-Fi è davvero troppo lento, basta appena per controllare la mail, scordatevi lo streaming. Ad esempio su YT i video, al massimo, arrivavano a 360p. Peccato.

El hotel es antiguo, no tenía aire acondicionado activado, no te ofrecen botella de agua como complemento en la habitación, tampoco café o té , el esatacionamiento lo cobran 20 Euros por la estadía y después del Checkout son 3 Euros la hora, si vas a visitar las islas demorarás 6 horas es decir 18 Euros más . Lo que sí, el desayuno es muy bueno, aunque los mozos un poco descorteses .

The manager at this property insisted on charging me (a solo traveler) for an erroneous booking (two reservation numbers), even though the Expedia representative called him and explained the error - I was therefore charged for two rooms in a half empty hotel. He could easily have negated the erroneous booking but refused to do so, arrogantly telling me that I could use both rooms if I wanted to. Never again.

The place is charming and location is excellent. However, the reception staff was rude and unhelpful. I asked for advice on attractions/boat trips and was informed that islands were closed, which acually was not true as I had nice boat trip the next day. I forgot my charger but reception had none to rent, I could only buy one if paid by cash. I had no cash so proposed to pay later, which was not possible. The rude lady explained that when I go to a shop it’s also not possible to pay later, hello. The argument that they have my credit card details did not help.

We lvery much iked this upmarket hotel - My wife thinks the spa pool and general spa areas are the best we've visited. We had a difficulty with check in initially because we were given a basic garden view room without a balcony and the booking on Expedia was clearly with a balcony. I had anticipated this and had taken a screen shot of the Expedia hotel web page. The room was swapped by reception without further argument on producing the screenshot, so good for them. In fairness to the hotel I suspect this was Expedia's fault - Expedia nb your confirmation emails do not confirm all the agreed details like breakfast and balconies and they should as it would stop issues like this. Stresa is lovely and the hotel is lovely. We strongly recommend

Klassisches Hotel mit viel Stil. Zimmer mit Seeblick sind empfehlenswert. Diese sind gross und komfortabel, wenn auch ein bisschen hellhörig. Das Hotel ist hundefreundlich, d.h. man darf den Hund ins Zimmer mitbringen und ihn auch kurz dort lassen, wenn man zum Frühstück oder ins geheizte Hallenbad geht. Das Hotel beherbergt viele Events und Reisegruppen, was teilweise ein bisschen Unruhe oder Lärm verursachen kann. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt und wir kommen sicher zurück.

The hotel is in the centre of Stresa and opposite the main square / small departure points for the boats. It is a grand hotel and the appearance is magnificent. Room was Very nice, Spa was good and breakfast was good too. Things that should be improved: - the outdoor swimming pool / jacuzzi water temperature is more suitable for bears and penguins. For such an hotel, it is unacceptable not to have the water slightly heated at least - bathrooms are on the smaller side and bits of it needs TLC

Een sfeervol historisch hotel, zeer goed gelegen met een fraai uitzicht op het meer. Het buiten-zwembad is uitstekend, het binnen-zwembad met sauna’s is op zich goed, maar meerdere voorzieningen (douches, massage-streams, waterval) waren kapot en werden na klachten niet gerepareerd. Het personeel is niet vriendelijk en helemaal niet servicegericht. Het restaurant is van matige kwaliteit en het ontbijtbuffet is voor de hoge kamerprijs niet goed genoeg (buffet werd niet goed bijgevuld, weinig frisse etenswaren). Totale prijs-kwaliteit verhouding klopte niet.

Le petit-déjeuner n'était vraiment pas à la hauteur de l'établissement, les fruits, le bacon et les pancakes n'étaient vraiment pas bons, et pas beaucoup de choix apres 9h30... Sinon établissement très calme, les 2 piscines sont top mais la climatisation pas très efficace. Le personnel est vraiment adorable malgré tout cela.
