Nous avons pu laisser nos valises durant l’après midi avec un système de consigne, ce qui était appréciable. Personnels pas toujours polis en revanche puisqu’en disant au revoir en sortant de l’hôtel, pas de réponse des personnes à la réception qui n’étaient pas avec des clients. Personnes s’occupant du ménage très sympathiques.

We really didn’t enjoy this hotel. That really isn’t the fault of the employees. It says there is parking at the hotel - there isn’t. You need to park at the shopping center nearby and drag your luggage up and down stairs. So annoying. The reception were so nice to upgrade our room, such a kind thought, but we feel more it was a disservice. Then the keycard didn’t work - whatever they fixed it very fast. Then we step into the room. Sure it was big but it was really worn down. The carpet was stained and the corners in the bathroom were black. But i did get the impression it was a clean room. Now the worst part was that this “upgraded” room (526) is seemingly located near a waterpump which will make a terribly loud noise every minute or so. Soo nice, along with running toilet and the brick they call a pillow, when trying to sleep after driving 10 hours (Not)!

Great hotel in a really convenient location for Bordeaux centre. Not the prettiest area but really quick to walk in to the city centre end easy access from the airport by tram. Staff are super friendly, really nice lobby and bar area and adequate sized rooms. This is our second time staying here and will definitely be returning!!

Fairly central position and nicely appointed rooms and general areas. I had a twin room where the bed was a single bed but comfortable. I did not try the breakfast bar. The hotel bar was nice and well appointed. The stars were friendly.

J'ai réservé 2 chambres. une classique et une dite supérieure. Aucune différence entre les deux. Aucune pression d'eau dans la douche et une bonde de baignoire qui ne ferme pas avec un joins découpé. Literie tres moyenne. Moquette au sol. Baignoire, pleintes sales, evier bouché et wc dans la salle de bains. Peut-être que j'ai hérité de la pire chambre car j'ai utilisé une nuit gratuite hotel.com pour reduire le prix exorbitant de la nuit initialement. Mauvaise expérience dans l'ensemble. Un point positif quant même bouilloire et de quoi faire une boisson chaude dans la chambre vu le prix exorbitant du petit déjeuner proposé sur place. En résumé Mercure vie gracieusement sur le dos des clients dans des hotels vieilots et mal entretenus en misant sur la notoriété de l'enseigne.....je peux me permettre de critiquer je dors entre 80 et 150 nuits par an à l'hotel et depuis 13 ans, je sais de quoi je parle. Ma chambre etait la 416, si vous voulez reparer l'evier bouché

J'ai récemment séjourné dans cet hôtel et j'ai trouvé la chambre propre et le lit très confortable. Cependant, j'ai rencontré des problèmes de bruit importants tant pendant la journée qu'en soirée. La porte menant à l'escalier était extrêmement bruyante et se cognait de manière persistante, même à 2 heures du matin, ce qui rendait le sommeil difficile. Le bruit était si intense que les murs tremblaient. Ce problème était très gênant et a perturbé mon séjour. Je recommande à la direction de régler ce problème pour améliorer le confort des futurs clients.

Not a hotel we would use again. On arrival you enter the bar - there is no reception area and the 'receptionist' sits at a little round table with a laptop computer. No sense of welcome from either the receptionist nor the environment. Our keys were given to us from a cupboard behind the wall and they did not work when we had arrived at our room on the 7th floor. We had to go back to the receptionist who very rudely told us we were not using them properly. Having recognised that they had not been programmed correctly we were given fresh keys to the room. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was both a kettle and a nespresso coffee maker in the room, as well as a fridge (empty) and a safe. Despite the fact that the room was adequate we were not made to feel welcome at all.

Fantastic staff and perfect place. Rooms were great for what we needed, really welcoming staff. Considering the language barrier they all spoke well and didn’t get fussing for us not understanding. With the hotel just on the edge of downtown it was easy to navigate to some really nice restaurants and cafes if you don’t want to dine in. 10/10 would recommend and go back.

Great hotel, in great location - very short distance to the cathedral & walkable to all other sites/attractions. Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly. Lovely sized room, quiet and clean. Didn’t eat here so can’t comment on food or restaurant. Close to a metro line which goes to the airport.

Hotel is a short walk to the trams connecting you to the city centre and a short walk to the main shopping area. Also very close to a local shopping mall. Very clean and had full aircon. Staff are cheerful and helpful. Our room didn't have any coffee or tea and the staff bought that up immediately. The free water in the mini bar was not filled until the last day but we didn't realise we were supposed to have any until the other people we holidayed with mentioned it. Buffet breakfast was fantastic and had extensive choices. Overall, very clean and great location. Would stay again.
